Confessions of a Klutz:
Confession One: I was a klutz.
I thought I’d grow out of it, but evidently I didn’t.
It’s not fun to look like a fumbling toddler when you’re twenty-six.
Confession Two: I had a standing appointment at the local ER.
It wasn’t by choice that I knew all the doctors names—it was necessity.
But that was about to change.
Confession Three: I hated the sun yet I lived in LA where it always shone.
I supposed that was one plus to being sent to New York for the next eight weeks.
That was until I got there.
Arm veins, dimples, and THE sexiest voice known to man were my weakness,
and he had every single one of them.
Confession Four: He was my new boss.
I could control myself though, right?
The city of dreams… a klutz’s worst nightmare.
Eight weeks. A klutz. And a drool worthy boss.
What did you get when you crossed a klutz with a GQ model lookalike?
I was about to find out.

This book was like putting on fluffy socks after being in heels all day.
So refreshing and funny, Vi will have you in stitches with her witty words, her no filter mouth, awkwardness, and clumsiness.
“I can always head downstairs and grab Lucas.” “Lucas?” His brows furrowed, a warning shining in the depths of his eyes. “Yep,” I answered, popping the P. “My vibrator. I named him after Lucas from One Tree Hill.”
Confessions of a Klutz is a light-hearted Rom-com, a hot for the boss kind of read that is sizzling in all the right places.
I loved it, I adored Vi and Axel's story, I really didn't want it to end and actually sulked when it ended too quickly making me wish it was longer with the whole shebang hea.
A great pick me up romance, definitely recommended.
Available in KU, told in first person dual and the first in a series.
Part two in the Gods and Monsters Series.
In the land of gods and monsters, she was set free.
Left, lost, forgotten.

Ares walked away without a backward glance and left her desperate for safety, desire, and the freedom she found in his cruel touch.
But in the end, Pet discovers nothing is ever free.
* In the Land of Gods and Monsters, Part Two, may contain triggers for some readers.
I'm a bit lost for words.
Firstly this book cannot be read as a standalone and book one must be read first.
I don't even know where to start with my review, normally the thoughts flow. I enjoy reading books that are dark, I love angst, darkness, and danger in my romance reads but this was, I don't really know.
I felt like I was watching a car crash, so many times, I squirmed at the scenes, the actions of Camille aka Pet once she was free, feeling lost without her master and craving sex, going to a sex club, yearning for her master and what she had been trained to crave since she was kidnapped, sex, pain, torture.
Just like the first book It's intense, dark, contains disturbing scenes but for some reason, I can't help wanting to know what happens next.
This book has me craving a fluffy romance and ice cream to bring me back to normality and I don't even read fluffy romances or like ice cream.
If you enjoy dark, gritty and intense with disturbing scenes then book one is waiting.

From Samantha Towle, New York Times bestselling author of Breaking Hollywood and Ruin, comes a new powerful, passionate and dramatic contemporary romance.
“With the first pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select…”
It’s been three years since quarterback Ares Kincaid’s NFL dream came true, and he’s living the high life. The days of cleaning up after his drunk of a father are long gone, and he has no intention of going back.
A car crash and DUI charge meant a lengthy stint in rehab for Arianna Petrelli, and her dream of being a professional artist slips further away when she’s sacked from her position at a gallery. Her need for a job stronger even than her dislike of football, Ari goes to work for her father, the head coach of the New York Giants.
Ares hates alcoholics, which is fine with Ari because she thinks he’s a brainless jock. Yet when Ares rescues Ari from a situation with her ex-boyfriend, an unlikely friendship begins – one that quickly becomes more.
But messing around with the coach’s daughter can only lead to one thing…trouble.

A story of second chances and trust.
Ares Kincaid, star quarterback, he's one of the good guys and not the typical man-whore kind of star player, he loves his family and sisters then there's Arianna Petrelli recovering alcoholic and the coaches daughter.
Ares and Arianna first meet when Arianna who has walked to work in the rain on her first day there goes to the changing room to rid herself of her wet clothes and she is walked in on by Ares.
Ares is instantly attracted by Arianna until he discovers who she is and is nothing but judgemental of her past, her present and is basically repulsed by the sight of her.
Arianna has made mistakes, she is an alcoholic who is trying to change, she knows she cannot erase her past but with the help of her dad giving her a job at the club is taking one step at a time.
Ares is frosty towards her, he has his own judgements and feelings towards alcoholics due to his father and keeps his distance from Arianna.
This is kind of an enemies to friends romance that eventually becomes more and the more is hot!!
I listened to this in audio and I could't help but swoon each time Ares spoke, he had that laid back type of vibe with the sexy smirk that went along with him.
I loved it, I always love Samantha Towle's books and even though this is based on a sports star you don't have to be a fan of sports to read it, the author has you focusing on the characters, their words and actions rather than the setting.
I can't wait to jump into one of Samantha Towles other books she really is becoming my go to author when I want a good book that I will know for sure will hit all the desired spots in a romance read.
RUSH has steam, angst and drama. Told in first person dual pov and leads to hea.

Isla Eriksen was the girl next door, my best friend’s little sister, the girl he warned me never to touch. Sometimes rules are hard to stick to. Over the years I tried to stay away, but when she needed me the most I was there for her and all the rules I stuck by went out the window. Now I have a secret life she doesn’t know about and if I tell her I know I will lose her forever.
He was everything she couldn’t have.
Finn Connolly, the golden haired boy I lost my virginity to, the world famous rock star, a well-known man whore and my brother’s best friend. I told him to pursue his dreams when we were younger. I was right beside him as he and the boys from my childhood became super stars. I fought the chemistry between us for years, I tried to move on.
I tried to love another but he broke my heart. Now I’m back at square one and we can’t seem to keep our hands off each other. Unfortunately, first love and raw chemistry isn’t enough for him to choose me over loyalty to my brother.
One little taste can't hurt; can it
A frustrating story.
The idea of this story got me a little giddy, teen sweethearts, best friends, neighbors, two people who grew up together who would then fall in love, with their love tested when Finn hits it big as a rockstar with his band and then you would expect the story to then go onto the hea but no, it did not go how I expected at all and sometimes predictable is better. It was more complex than that and the characters and their actions become frustrating.
Suddenly trouble begins when Finn and Ilsa are young and this whole journey is through the years to the present day.
When Isla and Finn become more than just friends they keep their relationship to themselves and away from Isla's overprotective brother who is also Finn's best friend, then the band they have formed begins to get noticed and they are asked to go on a tour.
Isla being younger stays behind at school and she tells Finn to experience being a rockstar, all of it, the whole experience and if he's tempted to be with a groupie that's all part of it, he doesn't have to be in a relationship any more, they should just be friends and in the future see where they are because they would be a part a lot and she didn't want to hold him back.
I understood Isla saying this, their relationship was secret anyway, she was young and he would be tempted while on the road and she didn't want him to feel trapped or put in a position were he would have to make excuses to her brother who is also a band member that would give them away but TWO WEEKS? Two weeks before he was pictured with girls and that was just the start of it.
Finn was not only a huge man-whore with crap excuses but I'm convinced a sex addict too, the group went to sex clubs and orgies with each other. When Isla was older she still had feelings for him and joined to be part of the band's team and witnessed all of the sex going on with the band members, the parties and the guys openly having sex, Finn with numerous girls etc.
That girl, I don't know how she stuck around, Finn would sleep with her when he was tempted and they fell into old ways of sneaking around and Isla because she loved him took what he gave then he would be with groupies or at the sex club later in the plot.
Isla didn't have enough backbone for me, both these characters deserved each other in the end, I can't say I liked either of them or their actions in most scenes and I still wasn't convinced at the end they had a forever kind of love.
I love a roller-coaster journey but this was beyond comprehension at times.
I haven't read the previous books, this book can be read as a standalone.
My first by J.A Low, It wasn't an enjoyable read for me and I will definitely have to read a different book by this author to appreciate her writing because it was the characters and the plot in this one that I just couldn't like.

“Sexy, heartfelt--did I mention sexy? With the perfect touch of the forbidden, Melanie Harlow has outdone herself with single dad Mack and Frannie’s story!”
-- Ilsa Madden-Mills, Wall Street Journal bestselling author
Irresistible, an all-new fun and swoony standalone from USA Today bestselling author Melanie Harlow, is available now!
I’m a full-time single dad to three daughters and CFO at Cloverleigh Farms. I don’t have time to fall in love—I’m too busy trying to run a business, keep the red socks out of the white laundry, and get the damn pillowcases on without owing a dollar to the swear jar. Sure, Frannie Sawyer is beautiful and sweet, but she’s twenty-seven, the boss’s daughter, and my new part-time nanny—which means she’s completely off-limits. It’s bad enough I can’t stop fantasizing about her, what kind of jerk would I be if I acted on the impulse to kiss her? (Exactly the kind of jerk you’re thinking.) Actually, I’m worse than that—because I didn’t stop with a kiss, and now I can’t stay away. She makes me feel like myself again. She reminds me what it’s like to want something just for me. She’s everything I ever needed, but nothing I ever imagined. I’m a former Marine. I should have had the strength to resist her from the start. But I didn’t. And now I have to choose between the life I want and the life she deserves. Even if it means giving her up.

I was holding my breath.
I wasn’t even sure why, but it was something about the way Mack was looking at me. And the tension in his body—the taut muscles in his neck. The grip of his fingers on the edge of the counter. The set of his jaw. It gave the impression of restraint. Like he was holding himself back.
Something unfamiliar hummed in the air between us. I could feel it—he wanted me the way I wanted him.
No wonder I couldn’t breathe.
Then he cleared his throat and turned away from me, cutting off the current. “Sure. Everybody needs to make mistakes now and then.”
I’d forgotten I’d even asked the question.
He turned the sink on, rinsed his dishes, and placed them in the dishwasher. I stood there staring at his muscular back, at the width of his shoulders, at the snug fit of his jeans on his butt. If I were his and he were mine, I’d go over and wrap my arms around his waist, press my cheek to his back. Then he’d turn around, winding his arms around me. He’d lower his lips to mine, and--
“I should get you home,” he said, interrupting my fantasy. “Want to grab your coat?”
“Sure.” But I didn’t really want to leave. I wanted to stay in this warm, chaotic house with him and the girls. Pretend I belonged here. Pretend I belonged to him.
A single dad romance.
My second book by by Melanie Harlow and I enjoyed it.
I previously listened to Some sort of Love in Audio and absolutely loved that book, I really need to read more from this author.
Irresistible was heartwarming, sweet, funny and hot in all the right places.
Mac is a single dad to three girls, he works at Cloverleigh were Frannie also works which is how they meet.
Frannie's parents own Cloverleigh and because of heart problems when she was younger they have sheltered Frannie. When her sisters went to school, college and adventures, Frannie was the one who was left at home, home schooled and even when older worked for her parents.
I felt sorry for Frannie, I liked her, she was a sweet 27 year old with no life experiences who also had the hots for her co-worker Mack, a single dad and 10 years her senior for a while.
Mack was charming when he needed to be, he also had a dirty mouth in tbe bedroom and on accasion put of it and his girls had plenty of money in the swear jar which at times was funny.
Irresistible is a friends to lovers story with a great feel to it, very little drama and an easy read. The first book in the series and I Will definitely be looking forward to the next book which is Frannie's sister Chloe.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.
But who said the devil was a he?
In my world, she was out to cause havoc on all our lives.
She’ll use the one thing I care most about to control me—force me into her Elite world, filled with sin, deceit, and power. And under her spell, I’ll lead a sinister brotherhood of seven at one of the most prestigious universities in New Orleans.
Seven tasks set forth by the devil herself, promising nothing less than the forbidden fruit of power. What they don’t understand is it will all end in bloodshed and regret.
They call me the alpha. The one in charge. The one with pride bigger than any task I could be given. And my pride won’t let me be anywhere but at the top of the food chain until she gives me what I truly want.
My task is Meghan Benedict.
She’s too pure for me to touch, too good for me to ruin—and the only thing standing in my way to freedom.
Accept your sin wisely, for the tasks given to earn your place are not for the weak...they’re for The Elite.
As they say, pride comes before the fall.

I am Pride.

I finished this with an "Oh my frickin god, it's heating up and I want to get burned"
Now it's starting to feel like a series and one to get excited about! If you like suspense and a little dark, hell yes, I can't wait for the next book now.
7 authors, 7 books, 7 sinners, I for one need to confess that I loved the excitement the whole plot delivered.
Pride AKA Mason has been manipulated and blackmailed into being in the Elite. Mason went from foster care with his sister to Prison and then later released, given his freedom only if he does what is expected of him.
His life has been controlled, his choices have been limited, he has been separated from his sister leaving him one choice for them to stop holding all the cards, making his life hell and that was by agreeing to be in the Elite and be their puppet. Mason went from one hell to another and although he is now free he is still controlled.
Who are pulling the strings? That is a question I am hoping will be revealed as the series continues.
His task is to ruin Meghan Benedict the only problem is he receives his task after meeting Meghan and having a hot encounter, ruining her is the last thing on his mind.
The whole plot is filled with suspense and mystery, there's a lot more of the Elite to discover, who is pulling the strings on these 7 boys who are expected to do their bidding and how can they band together and bring down an organisation that was designed to make them powerful but at the same time is ruining their lives.
I am looking forward to how the whole series unfolds.
Meghan and Mason's relationship was hot and I am hoping to see more of them in the next book, I didn't see much of Rhett and Chastity from the previous book in Mason's story but the timelines do cross so some parts regarding these characters which were in the first book are there but from Mason's point of view.
The plot is continuous so you do need to read Lust first, starting where it all began and how the boys first meet.

Bennett Fox walked into my life on one hell of a crappy Monday morning.
I was late for the first day at my new job—a job I’d now have to compete for even though I’d already worked eight years to earn it, because of an unexpected merger.
While I lugged my belongings up to my new office, a meter maid wrote me a parking summons.
She’d ticketed a long line of cars—except for the Audi parked in front of me, which happened to be the same make and model as mine.
Annoyed, I decided to regift my ticket to the car that had evaded a fine. Chances were, the owner would pay it and be none the wiser.
Except, I accidentally broke the windshield wiper while slipping the ticket onto the car’s window.
Seriously, my day couldn’t get any worse.
Things started to perk up when I ran into a gorgeous man in the elevator. We had one of those brief moments that only happened in movies.
You know the deal…your body lights up, fireworks go off, and the air around you crackles with electricity.
His heated stare left me flush when I stepped off the elevator.
Maybe things here wouldn’t be so bad after all.
Or so I thought.
Until I walked into my new boss’s office and met my competition.
The gorgeous man from the elevator was now my nemesis. His heated stare wasn’t because of any mutual attraction. It was because he’d seen me vandalize his car. And now he couldn’t wait to annihilate his rival.
There’s a fine line between love and hate—and we shouldn’t cross it.
We shouldn’t—but straddling that line could be so much fun.

Rivals by day lovers by night.
I love the cover of this book, its what drew me in.
I listened to this in audio, the narration really brought the characters, their word's, and their actions to life.
I laughed, swooned and was hooked on the story throughout.
This isn't your typical office romance. Analise and Bennett are fighting for the same job role now both of their companies have merged.
Two people who are attracted to each other two people wanting the same job, two people who find love in an unexpected race to success.
Loved it, We shouldn't is another story from Vi Keeland that I didn't want to end.

I’m an all-or-nothing man—100 percent focused on whatever has my attention.
First it was serving my country in the Special Forces. Then it was building my business. Right now it’s the hot blonde at the bar who’s about to become another notch on my bedpost.
But women never keep my attention for more than a night.
Until I peel off Skylar Anderson’s clothes and her mask starts to crumble, showing me glimpses of the girl she’s hiding. She’s funny, sexy and vulnerable and throws me out of bed before I can catch my breath and suggest breakfast.
When I start my last undercover job on a yacht, turns out, she’s one of the crew. I try, but I can’t look away.
Her high ponytail shows off her kissable neck that tastes like summer.
Her short uniform reveals the killer legs that were wrapped around me last night.
And her provocative smile? I know what that mouth is capable of.
I want to explore her body, discover her secrets and sail off into the sunset with her.
I might want to go all in for Skylar, but she should stay away from me. I’ve got secrets of my own and they can only bring her trouble.
This is a stand-alone novel.
“Did I tell you how beautiful you look tonight?”
For some reason, Landon’s compliment didn’t make me wince the way some men’s comments did. Everything about him was different and it had thrown me off kilter. His warm breath on my neck shouldn’t have made me shiver. He shouldn’t ease the ever-present knot in my stomach or have me wanting to slide my hand into his as we walked. He shouldn’t make me feel safe. “You didn’t.”
“Well, you do. Not that it’s any surprise.”
“Because you’re a gentleman who prefers blondes,” I said, nudging him gently with my elbow, trying to lighten the mood.
He pulled in a breath and scraped his hand through his hair. “I’m beginning to think I’m a man who just prefers you.”
I focused on the cobbled street in front of us. “Me?” Had I been mistaken about the ex-girlfriend in town or the girl on Tinder? I tried to hold my breath to ensure I heard his reply.
“Yeah, you. I like you. More and more.”
My stomach swooped, and I tried to think of a response. My head was telling me to run. Far away. I didn’t want to fall for anyone. I’d worked hard to stay single all these years—to keep away from temptation. But now, temptation right in front of me, I found myself rooted to the spot, wanting to know what was next. “Okay.”
“Okay?” he asked.
I nodded, unsure of what to say. Unsure of how I felt. I knew I found Landon attractive.
I knew I liked him too. But I also knew that I’d been single all these years for a reason.
He wrapped his large hand around my upper arm to steady me when I stumbled over a loose cobblestone. We stopped, and I looked up at him as he swept his thumb across my cheekbone. “I’m only going to ask you this once, and you don’t have to decide now, but stay with me tonight?”
“Landon . . .” Somehow, I couldn’t say no to him, even though I knew I shouldn’t say yes.
“Think about it.”
Unfortunately not my favourite one from Louise Bay.
I didn't like Skylar and this happened early on in the book, I found her shallow.
In one chapter she admits she wants a man who has money, she has a tick list, a criteria, it's later revealed this is due to her background from living in the care system but in another chapter, she wants her independence, her own money and doesn't need a man?
I found some conversations repeated too, it was like reading a beta copy? was it rushed, not checked over enough, I don't know? I had issues with the flow.
The story was ok, a hot British guy, Landon, ex forces who has just sold his security business making him rich but as a favour before joining MI6, with a month off and not one to be lying around he goes undercover on a yacht as a deckhand to monitor the owners movements and report back to his friend.
Another romance on a yacht, Skylar is one of the head stewards, same as the last book, it's too similar, the push & pull was the same. Ile be honest I was bored.
I expected action with regards to the spying and bringing down the bad guys but none of that happens.
Landon wasn't the bossy type alpha I expected either for ex-forces.
Louise Bay is brilliant at writing sex scenes but I need more than that to keep me interested and this didn't have it.

A Fun, sexy and erotic romance.
I loved the beginning of this book, three friends all on holiday celebrating their divorce. I laughed so many times at the banter and Witt with these three friends.
Charlie was likeable, socially awkward, a woman with very little confidence, also she was a marriage councillor who ironically had just gone through a divorce. Charlie wakes up after a day and night of many drinks with her friends, she really finally allowed herself to live a little but when she looks at her surroundings she finds herself in the bed of a man who looks like he belongs in a fashion magazine, this is the first glimpse of Charlie's awkwardness and lack of confidence, charlie leaves without giving the man her real name. The scene was funny and even funnier when she couldn't remember a thing and thought he may have been a Mafia boss or something when re-capping the morning to her friends who then began to name the mystery man El Chapo.
“You slept with him and don’t remember how it was?”
I close my eyes and inhale.
“Not really. Bits and pieces.”
She glances at my crotch.
“I’m so sorry your owner hates you.
” She’s seriously talking to my vagina.
Although I could have read about Charlie and her friends all the way through this book because I loved them so much the plot got even more interesting when Fate stepped in and back home Charlie bumped into Elijah who by the way thought her name was Demi because she had also given him a false name, so for the remainder of the story she was Demi and Charlie being Charlie never corrected him and just went along with it.
I loved this fate filled romance, I loved that Charlie got a chance at real love with a sexy man with a dirty mouth who completely swept her off her feet. Elijah may have been a bit of a mystery and alluring, a businessman, a wealthy man but boy did he also have the swoon factor.
"Elijah Banks is a category-5 hurricane, one you stand on the shore and watch roll in. You wait for the waves to strike and drag you out into a tumultuous sea. And now, here I am, just waiting".
Elijah and Charlie begin dating, the relationship has an expiration date, Elijah is moving to London . The countdown to Elijah going away gives Charlie the chance to feel free, have an attitude of you only live once and she tries her best to keep her heart at a distance. Feelings weren't meant to get involved, the days were ticking by but like all plans it doesn't always go how you would expect. Elijah is charming and enticing, I mean, what woman wouldn't fall for Elijah Banks?
"He’s intoxicating. Every hour I spend with him, each kiss, complicates things. It threatens to involve my heart in something that will prove to be fatal".
An interesting plot with hot moments, I loved it. What I couldn't get my head around was Elijah's interest and activity's in a sex club prior to meeting Charlie, I didn't think this fitted in with the plot, there was enough going on without this titbit of info into Elijah's activity's prior to meeting Charlie, it didn't turn out to be a book about a man and a sex club though thankfully, there was a lot more to the story than that trope that I have quite frankly had enough of.
FALLING IN BETWEEN is a lot of things, it starts off feeling like a ROM-com then gets a little more serious and sexy as the plot continues, its about second chances, new beginnings, it's romantic, hot, and heartwarming it's also a recommended read by Stevie J Cole.
‘When my heart met yours, it knew’
Elijah Cooper had loved Amy Brown for as long as he could remember.
She was his first love, his soulmate, the woman he adored.
Amy Brown had loved Elijah Cooper since they’d been teenagers.
He was her first and the last man she’d ever love.
One night changed everything.
A night where they would both lose the most precious thing to them – each other.
Five years later and they had both moved on with separate lives.
Five years later and everything had changed but was still the same.
This is a story of young love, heartbreak, and maybe second chances, if only they would trust their hearts
As Amy came apart in my arms, I knew I’d never love anyone like I loved her. This wasn’t just a teenage first love, she had my fucking heart forever.
A SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE
Two teenagers in love, two people destined to be together but Life, life sometimes just doesn't turn out the way you dreamed it would.
This is a story of love and loss, betrayal and regrets, heartache and despair, second chances and forgiveness.
Fiction, I know this is fiction but my heart bumped in my chest more than once, I was completely willing this couple who had loved each other since their teens to get back together.
Life throws curve balls and sometimes them curve balls just smack you right in the face leaving wounds that just don't want to heal and won't heal until they are treated.
Five years Amy had been away from Elijah, Five years of heartache for both of them and it was all down to one night, one night of drunken stupidity and a misunderstanding with Elijah that couldn't even be fully explained other than the fact that there was a vindictive woman in waiting who was obsessed with Amy's boyfriend when she was younger and even when he became her husband. A woman who waited for her chance to strike and used her jealousy to destroy the loved up couple because Elijah loved his wife and only had eyes for her. The story does not go into detail about that night and I am still reflecting over the "between the lines" words that I picked up along the way.
In the real world there are some vindictive people, spiteful hurtful people and unfortunately also in the fictional world not all story's about love are hearts, flowers and roses either, and this one of them.
Amy fled the night her heart was broken without giving Elijah the chance to explain, she left and then later again reading between the lines she divorced without ever taking to Elijah again.
The story picks up from where Amy returns home..
Returning back to her home town for a job as an interior designer it was inevitable that Amy would bump into Elijah who was a landscaper and by chance they ended up working at the same home at the same time.
Both of them had moved on, I mean five years, what choice did they have, but there was so much left unsaid. Elijah now had a girlfriend and Amy was dating, life was going forward for both of them but in a way they were still stuck in time.
I felt the heartache, the despair, I so desperately wanted Amy and Elijah to take a second chance but the story wasn't that smooth sailing, nothing is tht simple and Amy and Elijah's story showed that.
I got frustrated with the characters, there were a few moments that made me face palm and ask why?? I have questions over some situations in the book that made me drop a star but overall I could not put this down, the feelings it evoked in me cannot be disputed with the fact I was completely engrossed in the story and anxious about the characters decisions and actions.
Another great read by Nikki who is a British author and uses British words, mannerisms & humour in her books which I admire, Elijah is very different from her previous books which contained more humour and had a lighter feel, I felt ELIJAH had a lot more angst and heartache and at times made my head spin.
Told In dual pov and available in KU
The cliche in love stories is that the good little rich girl falls for the poor bad boy with tattoos. The glamorous prom queen gets knocked-up by the swoon-worthy tattooed god who smells of leather and exhaust from his motorcycle.
That is not how this story goes.
Elias Black may have had a sleeve of tattoos and grown up on the wrong side of the tracks, but he didn’t have a true bad bone in his body.
Until he fell for me. Then he was terribly bad

You may be like the sun in a lot of ways," he said.
"And I may be like the noon, because I'll fall for you day after day, I'll chase you until the planets fade into oblivion"
Sunny and Elias's epic love story begins from the age of 8 when Elias is brought into the home is Sunny's parent's as a foster child.
Set in the 90's leading upto 2015 The sun is a childhood to adult love story. There are times of separation desperation and heartache, obstacles that stand in their way to love but this is a story of destiny and a love that can't be snuffed out whoever or whatever comes against it.
The Sun is a heartwarming love story told over the years, a slow burn coming of age romance.
"I’ve spent over half of my life in love with you, and I know without a shadow of doubt, no matter what happens, I’ll spend the rest of it loving you.”
The Sun was enchanting, I loved Sunny and Elias's story.
A recommended heartwarming, romantic story with very little angst or drama.
The Sun is told in first person dual pov and leads to a beautiful hea.
In a world where a woman’s purity is the fine line between being Queen and being killed, he was given one duty—to protect my purity and above all, to protect me. Both were a battle we weren’t ready for.
Forced by tradition, and as their chosen Queen, I must endure my trials and the suitor phase, ultimately giving myself to a man from the Royal Houses. Each one competes to be my King, all wanting what no other has had…my purity.
To have what I truly want would risk my entire reign, but to do what is expected of me would destroy my heart. My only protection is to follow through, giving each royal the opportunity to win their prize…me in a bedroom suite and a crown atop their head.
Behind closed doors, I commit my biggest sin, loving a man I’m forbidden to have. When the time comes for me to be crowned, I’ll be forced to make a choice—risk our love or risk my life.
Not what I expected at all, this was my first ever fantasy world themed book and I liked it.
The story has a hunger games sort of feel along with historical due to the Royal traditions and settings etc.
Claimed Royalty is Enchanting, sexy, sultry and with danger and angst.
The main characters are Princess Fiora and her bodyguard, friend and trainer Matheas.
Fiora is about to start trials, trials set by each house in a neighboring kingdom, she must complete battles, dodge fire and danger and prove herself worthy of representing her Kingdom before becoming queen then following a dating period she must choose a suitor to be by her side.
Basically, Fiora was a badass princess, skilled in many things including battle.
Following the trials, Princess Fi then has to spend time with men from each kingdom and chose a husband that will unite two kingdoms.
The problem with this tradition is Fiora is in love with her best friend and bodyguard Matheas as is he with her.
The whole plot was exciting, I can't even explain the story well enough to do it justice, the author is very descriptive and I read this with ease for a first-time reader of fantasy and I could not put it down.
There were moments of passion, Jealousy and danger and I was left with dread at the cliffhanger ending.
I hope Fiora and Matheas become free to love and Fi uses her power as Queen to overturn tradition but it was also looking like a love triangle at the end when Fi also begins to fall for one of her suitors. It was an explosive ending that's for sure.
I've not a clue where this story will go but I am eager to find out and can't wait for the next book of this trilogy.
Told in first person.

It didn’t matter that the ref called it a clean hit. Nico Hunter would never be the same.
Elle has a good life. A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she’s been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half. But it’s boring…and she strives to keep it that way. Too many emotions are dangerous. Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control.
Then Nico walks into Elle’s office and everything changes…for both of them. But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common? A lot more than they bargained for.
***Author's note*** THIS IS A STAND-ALONE NOVEL.
Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.
This is one of those books that has been sat in my kindle a while, so when the mood struck for a fighter romance I was so pleased to find one of Vi Keeland's earlier books published in 2013 on my books shelf.
I love this authors words, I am currently also listening to a newer release from Vi Keeland in audio and I have to say even though her books have gone in different directions over the years with new series's and different sub-genres she was in 2013 and still is an amazing Romance writer.
Nico was so swoon-worthy and fan me down hot!!, a fighter with a tough exterior a soft heart.
Nico hadn't fought since he won a fight over a year previously and due to his opponent having something on his brain he died when he hit the mat. Nico still hadn't gotten over that night, still blamed himself and just couldn't move on, even though he kept up with his training, he could't put himself in the cage for a title fight until he felt ready and that day just wasn't coming.
Elle is a lawyer she has her own past nightmares with a father who was abusive to her mother. The day Nico was brought into her office by her then current boyfriend who was also a lawyer just to check over a contract it's like the stars aligned.
There is no cheating in this book although Elle is in a fizzling out relationship when she first meets Nico.
“When we met, we were two injured souls. Both keeping the real out of our lives for fear of what we might find".
"I never believed in destiny. Thought that was a bunch of crap for people who read too many books. Until I met you. You’re it for me, Babe".
Worth the fight is a heartwarming story with angst, hotness, and drama woven into the plot.
"He’s mentally searing the moment into his brain, capturing it forever like an artist with a brush. I can feel it. It’s adoration and lust and love and every other heartfelt emotion rolled up into one perfect man who loves me and couldn’t hide it if he tried".
WORTH THE FIGHT is a good story of self-forgiveness, finding true love and moving on.
Told in first pov and leads to a hea. This series is also now complete and is available in a box set.
The Elite Seven.
I was born with wealth, athletic ability, and looks that could melt the panties off a nun.
I had a clear path to success.
Until fate dealt me a cruel blow, leaving me empty and in need of purpose.
My only focus now is to become part of The Elite—a secret society in one of the most prestigious colleges in the world.
But everything comes at a price, and with The Elite, you have to earn your place.
Lucky for me, being sinful is in my DNA.
The only obstacle to full initiation is my task: seduce the un-seducible, the forbidden, and lure her with the sins of the flesh.
Easy for a man like me…in theory.
She started as my task, but what happens when the lines between lust and love blur, and the need for power rages war with the need for her?
Accept your sin wisely, for the tasks given to earn your place are not for the weak—they’re for The Elite.
This is my life, my chance, my legacy.

Lust, book one In a new exciting series.
Each book written by different authors.
I enjoyed Lust, I also love the concept of this series, each book given the name of one of the 7 deadly sins, Lust, Pride, Wrath, Envy, Greed, Gluttony and Sloth, each one of those titles are given to a member chosen by a secret society called the Elite.
Rhett is a playboy so there's no surprise he is given the name Lust.
I was instantly pulled into this book, into the thoughts, anguish, and despair of Rhett when he loses a loved one.
Over a year later and Rhett still blames himself for the fateful night that left him tormented with nightmares.
Rhett's goal to ease his pain is to get into the secret club having heard rumors of the Elite club he wants in, he wants the power it brings and he hopes one day it will also bring him justice.
All Rhett's plans change when he meets a nerdy girl, a girl who doesn't fall at his feet and actually dislikes him.
Lust turns into love and I liked the progression of enemies to lovers and how Rhett's love is tested.
There's twists and turns in the story, Lust is an interesting plot with interesting characters and I definitely foresee an exciting and gripping series ahead.
I thought Lust would have been darker, I suppose because this is written by Ker Dukey but it was more intriguing and had suspense, it also wasn't as hot as I expected either. It definitely left me wanting more though.
My only disappointment was the age of the characters, at first when the story began I assumed it was the backstory, the build-up to the now years and would lead to Rhett being older to how he had reached a power status in the Elite, in the secret club he longed to be in but it didn't go that way. This story is about college students and stays at the age of college students which is very similar to another series I've read.
Looking forward to the next book and what Pride brings, does Pride come before a fall?
I'm at the end of my rope, planning a wedding with the man who has become a threat to my sanity.
Everybody tells lies, but no one knows the truth we hide behind closed doors.
That’s until Alec is hired to watch my every move.
I thought the man threatening my mother’s life was my biggest problem. But he’s not.
Alec Taylor’s sharp gaze and ruggedly beautiful smile are quickly becoming a danger to my heart.
An accidental touch has me wondering what if.
Little do I know he’d end up showing me the truth to the lie I’ve been living.
What if I dare hope Alec is the one truth amongst all the lies I tell myself?
I loved Reece and Alec's story
I was captivated from start to finish, Alec made me swoon and laugh, I loved the balance in this book of suspense and romance.
Alec is an undercover agent and Reece is a woman who has been lied to deceived and tricked into a relationship out of obligation to a man who was once her best friend growing up. When Reece lost her father and her mother became ill following the accident Reece became dependent on her friend who took advantage of her and her fortune and used it to fund illegal activity's.
Reece and her mother were pretty much prisoners in their own home but Alec came along and just his presence gave her the courage to break free and start living for herself and support her mother.
The plot was exciting. Alec landed himself a position as Reece's body guard, he is undercover on a case but the team orchestrate it so he he ends up employed by Reece's fiance to keep an eye on her, his job is to keep tabs on Reece and report back to him. Alec's combat and martial arts skills that lands him the position was so hot.
A friendship develops between Reece and Alec and although she isn't aware he is undercover she begins to trust him which his hard for her to do with her past experiences. The lies we tell ourselves is a slow burn romance with lots of action in other areas to keep you turning the pages.
I loved the banter between Alec and Wyatt who was his eyes and ears while he stayed in the home with Reece and her fiance. I can't wait for Wyatt's story he brought lightness and banter in tense situations , I have a feeling his humour was a front though, there was hints that he has an interesting story to tell so I am looking forward to the next book too.
This is a great series, I found this book so much different to previous books by Michelle, the plot was descriptive, the characters likable and the balance was great, I was so relaxed reading this book despite the suspense, angst and drama, it was a lot lighter than previous books which had a darker theme.
A must read for anyone who loves action, suspense and a whole lot of swoon.

Welcome to Crimson Elite, the most exclusive sex club in the world.
Enter at your own risk, and always remember our number one rule--
You must never speak of Crimson Elite—the punishment is severe.
It wasn’t meant to be this way—she shouldn’t have fallen for my brother and left me for him. But she did. And now I’m left to pick up the pieces of my shattered, broken heart. And to top it off, they want me to come to their wedding. Do they think I’m a pushover? Do they think of me as a joke?
The old saying stands true, ‘Why have enemies when you can have family.’
I understand it now, better than I ever have in my life.
There’s one unexpected surprise though: Storm. She blew in just like one and makes the pain diminish. She’s exactly as her name describes her—she is a storm. A beautiful and powerful one.
But not all things are meant to last. Like a storm that wreaks havoc, some things cause anguish, and in my life she may very well be one of them.

Welcome to the hotness that is Crimson Elite.
4 hot guys, 4 best friends, 4 love story's.
Anguished is the 2nd book in the series and contains Echo's story.
I loved Echo, he was sexy, alluring, charming, an alpha male with a dirty mouth but he also had a hint of vulnerability when it came to his love life.
"He was more than a ten, trust me, Mel. Men like him aren't made, they're dreamt about. And that's where he will stay in my dreams"
Storm and Echo first meet in a club, there is an instant attraction between them and they get it on in a back room. Both of them want nothing more than one night, both have been burned in relationships in the past and both have their quick way with one another and go there separate ways. Storm leaves without even giving Echo her name.
Storm is ballsy, she's a woman with backbone, a redhead with fire and she got what she wanted, a night with a hot guy to take her mind of her douche of an ex but when she can't find her ID she then realizes her one time fling knows all her details and possibly has her card.
Echo too wanted just a one night stand but he can't get the redhead out of his mind and uses her ID card in exchange for seconds.
From this point, It's cat and mouse all the way with lots of angst and drama in the mix, family dramas, jealous ex's. I couldn't put it down and the hotness.... prepare to fan yourself.
Another great addition to the series, I found Anguished a lot lighter to read than Cavalier, Creed was an intense character, I loved Creed and Echo who are both completely different and I can't wait to read the next book to see what TL Smith brings next.
The club the guys run is still a mystery to me, there's no more info on the club other than it's a secret sex club and for Elite customers and each of the guys have their own role in the running of it. The plot focuses more on the characters and what is going on in their love lives or private lives rather than the workplace. I suppose it's like reading a hockey romance and there's not a bat or ball in sight, same thing, they run a sex club but you don't see the action. I'm kind of glad about that, I've had my fill of sex club books.
I'm digressing, in a nutshell, I loved it and I am excited about the next book.
Arc received for review purposes
Cavalier is the first book, and the darkest of the boys. Creed is more troubled. But oh so delectable 😍

You'll find friends-to-lovers, best-friend's-little-sister, boss-assistant, and roomies-to-lovers romances. Come meet the irreverent bachelor Spencer Holiday in BIG ROCK, the hot nerd Nick Hammer in MISTER O, his twin brother Wyatt, the sarcastic and sweet carpenter, in WELL HUNG, and the charming and brilliant doctor with the heart of gold,
Chase Summers, in the #1 NewYork Times bestselling smash hit FULL PACKAGE. Get ready for a hot &hilarious ride!
Lauren Blakeley has the perfect balance of funny, sexy with a dash of drama, swoon, and steam in her books. I absolutely loved this series.
THIS BOX SET CONTAINS 4 OF THE BOOK FROM THIS SERIES.
I loved them all and having just finished Full package I can't really say which was my favorite but I did love Wyatt and Natalie, probably just a tad more, their Vegas dilemma, the push and pull in their work and private relationship and how it all turned out for them, in the end, was entertaining.
I was looking forward to Chase's too when I finished the previous book with Full Package and the DR MC-hottie who had just returned from working away and I when I finished that story and this awesome box set I can honestly say I finished this series with a happy contented sigh.
Each book is interconnected so although you don't see much of the previous characters in for example Full Package the characters are linked in some way, in Full package Chase is the friend of Wyatt's who is also Wyatt's sister this is a friend's to lovers story.
All of these books are a friends to lovers story in some way.
Each book can be read a stand-alone are told in first person dual pov and lead to a hea.
I am now looking forward to Max and Henley's story I had a short glimpse at the end of Full package and I can't wait as it seems more an enemies to lovers story.
Brilliant box set and great in audio with the narration of Sebastian York.
I really can't fault this series, despite its cheesy Book titles these books in the Big Rock series really are my ideal kind of romance reads. A bit of swoon, a bit of sexy and a whole lot of hotness.
The Arizona Vengeance is hockey’s hottest new team. But hockey’s hottest goalie is learning that even the best players sometimes need an assist.
Everything is clicking for the Vengeance. We may be new, but we’re well on our way to winning the championship, and I’m having the time of my life headlining the sports media as the hottest goalie—hell, player—ever. I for one am going to live up to my name . . . because I am Legend Bay.
Dragging my ass home from the gym, I’m blinded by some gaudy, glowing holiday lights. As usual, my hot-as-hell neighbor Pepper Nantais has gone way over the top. But just as I’m about to tell her off, something else catches my eye . . . Seems like Santa left me a present, and not one I was expecting.
As life takes an unexpected turn, I realize that there’s much more to Pepper than meets the eye. Sure, she’s gorgeous. And exasperating. And her taste in decorating may be a bit . . . unique.
But beneath her carefree demeanor is a fierce determination and a heart of gold. And before I know it I’ve fallen for her. Hard . . .
Pepper is exactly the woman I never knew I needed.
Book three in the Arizona vengeance series. Cold fury was my go-to series when I fancied a hockey romance and I am equally loving this new series so far.
I was really looking forward to Pepper and Legend's story. Pepper and Legend are next door neighbors and Pepper's antics in the previous book really made me laugh. Peppers flamboyancy, her garden gnomes and big pink flamingo's really grated on Legend, I could see sparks coming and I was looking forward to the showdown.
LEGEND wasn't what I expected at all, it seems all the neighbor hate died the minute legend came home one day and discovered a baby on his front porch and legend not knowing what to do called on his neighbor Pepper.
LEGEND is a good/love hate relationship romance although you get more of the hate in ERIK'S book and it becomes a baby daddy, friends to lovers romance.
There are a few drama's, lots of hot moments and LEGEND is an enjoyable read that I read in one sitting.
This is a sports romance but the plot completely focuses on the characters and not the sport itself.
I am looking forward to the next book in the series and can't wait for Dax's story, you do get to meet other characters in each book just like in Erik's Story, I had already had glimpses of Pepper and Legend and I can't wait, I love this team of men that treat each other like brothers.
Each story can be read as a standalone and is interconnected with other books in the series.

A second chance and friends to lovers story.
*Also titled More #Impossible love with an alternative cover.
I enjoyed this book and read it in one sitting. I love a friends to lovers story and although the whole thing was cliche were they are friends with benefits and denying anything more so they don't spoil their friendship you can't help but wait for the moment were they will both finally realise that it's time to take the plunge and be honest with each other.
Foster and Jules have been friends since high school. Foster adores Jules, but he is a guy who also doesn't see himself as good enough for her after a brief fling years before they then decided to just be friends. Foster then went on to make some some big mistakes. His past is like a huge cloud hanging over his head, preventing him from pursuing a relationship with Jules.
Jules also adores Foster and has had to watch him get it on with numerous girls. It was sad how she took the scraps when Foster was drunk, scenes were she would be putting him to bed and because he was horny she would take the kisses and the loving and then they would go back to just friends in the morning when Foster wouldn't remember the night before.
There was a constant game of tug of war with each others hearts, Jules constantly telling him he can do better with his life and him constantly self sabotaging his life with drink and women.
The big turnaround comes when Jules hurts her arm in a bar and finds herself needing help to dress, with her other best friend away that only leaves Foster to tend to her, dress her, bath her and the more time they spend with one another the more their feelings become more open to each other.
Foster needs a Hallelujah moment before he see's whats in front of him and he finally gets it and his girl.
A good story, it definitely wasn't a Rom Com as stated in the blurb on Amazon but I enjoyed it, it wasn't without it's frustrations either with the characters but it all comes out good in the end.
I haven't read any other books by this author and I found the writing easy to read, told in first person and everything was balanced out just right, the hotness, the drama's and there was no dull moments or moments of boredom in the plot. I will definitely read more from this author.
A good freebie on Amazon and I am glad I got the chance to sample this authors work, looking forward to reading more in the series.
It’s not a wicked world that drives a man to sin, it’s a deranged mind. Baptized in dirty water by Satan himself, I’ve spent my whole life fighting the good fight, searching for the light in the darkness of insanity. Now, the light I’ve basked in for so long is finally dimming and the time has come for me to take my final bow before the curtain closes on my sanity.
After making a deal with the district attorney and providing my club with full immunity for the crimes we’ve committed, I have twenty-four hours to remind my wife, Reina, why she fell in love with a bastard like me before I turn myself in and break her heart.
But twenty-four hours isn’t enough.
Not for me and certainly not for the Devil.
Tragedy strikes, and my world implodes. It’s lights out for Jack and Reina and a man can’t survive without his sunshine. Engulfed in darkness, consumed by the crazy, I’m a weapon of mass destruction, ready to wreak havoc on the wicked world.
Word to the wise—proceed with caution, motherf*ckers.

"The love we got for one another, that shit don't die, it's rooted deep within our souls"
"Jack Parrish was forever and forever will be my Knight. The man who placed a pen in my hand and urged me to write an unforgettable love story"
I first met Reina and Jack Parrish in Uncontrollable temptations the Tempted series
Jack and Reina's story is an emotional one, a roller-coaster of emotions throughout.
Loss, heartbreak, emotional battles of guilt and regret especially Jack who lost his son and then later his brother. Uncontrollable Temptations is a story of second chances, survival and finding love when you least expect it.
Now over 10 years later Reina and Jack are back, I was a little confused due to this not being the same series this is under the series Satan's Knights MC which I can only assume is a crossover series.
I loved the first book the story deals with the battles of depression and it's a heartwarming story of finding love when you least expect it and with someone you least expect, Uncontrollable Temptations is a heartwarming story in an MC Setting but Parrish, wow this book is a whole new level.
I laughed, cried and rode the unforgettable roller-coaster that is the life of Jack Parrish and I didn't want to get off.
There are so many beautiful words and phrases in this book, a heartfelt and emotional journey for not only Jack and Reina but members of the club. There is so much going on in this story and I could not put it down.
If you love MC romance this is a must read but I do suggest going back to the first book where Reina and Jack first met first.
