Cockloft: A firefighter term used as a structural space above ceiling and below rafters, often connecting adjacent occupancies and permitting fire to spread laterally, often unseen.
Gabriel Martinez is the most arrogant and infuriating man I’ve ever met. He has a knee-weakening smirk that makes me want to kiss—no—slap it off his rude, sexy face. Judging by his ego, you’d think the hose in his pants is as big as the one on his fire truck. Not that I know anything about that nor do I want to. Nope, not at all. He’s already been forgotten like last season’s Michael Kors.
CeCe Kensington is as pretentious and spoiled as they come. The ridiculous purses she shoulders around are as big as her attitude. And don’t get me started on her mile-long legs or full, glossy lips that are meant to be wrapped around a guy’s… If she only knew the dirty things I think about doing to that sassy mouth of hers, she'd be hightailing it back to her side of town.
When the beautiful boutique owner and sexy firefighter meet in the most unlikely situation, their two worlds collide, creating an explosion of misperceptions and combustible heat, trapping them in a fire they never saw coming

I laughed so much at the beginning of this book and swooned so hard at the end!
Cockloft was perfect and just what I was looking for to lift my mood and get me out of a reading funk.
“For your information, this is a Vera Wang original that has yet to hit the market. It’s made from vintage silk.” “Yeah? Well, I think little Vera needs to take a trip down to the fucking Wal-Mart and scope out the silk they have there instead of ripping people off.”
A fashion boutique store owner and a hot firefighter. I loved these characters. A total unexpected bonus was discovering Emily and Ryder in the plot from Beautifully insightful, I loved that book hard so it was great to catch up with them as well as discovering the sassy CeCe and hottie Gabe.
"His eyes sweep over me from head to toe, making every cell in my body tingle with life. The magical bastard. How does one possess such control over another’s body without even touching them? It isn’t right."
An enemies to lovers romance that will have you laughing out loud at Cece's sass and Gabe's cocky comebacks.
A brilliantly written Rom-Com full of hotness from K.C Lynn and I can't wait to read more from this author.
“Bring it, Fireboy,” I breathe with more confidence than I feel. “Let’s see what you got.”
His lips curl into that infuriating yet sexy trademark smirk of his. “Buckle up, Blondie, I’m about to take you on the ride of your life.”
The edgy, angsty, addictive YA/NA crossover series from L A Cotton continues...
Some hearts are too broken to fix.
Kiera Lessinger’s whole life is a lie. Attend high school with her rich friends, check. Act sickeningly in love with her goofball-of-a-boyfriend, check. Pretend that every day isn’t a living nightmare, check. She didn’t ask to be thrust into her new life, but if it means escaping her past she’ll do whatever it takes to stay there. Even if it means forgetting the boy with eyes bluer than the ocean and a smirk that only ever led to trouble.
Trey Berrick has cleaned up his act. No longer the boy breaking hearts with a could-care-less attitude, he’s finally trying to be the man his family always wanted him to be.
Sophomore in college, check. The forever girl, check. But despite having the world at his feet, Trey can’t forget the girl with pink in her hair and pain in her eyes.
He’ll always be the boy who broke her heart and she’ll always be his friend’s little sister. Their story was never meant to have a happy ending.
Or was it?
An edgy, angsty, addictive YA/NA crossover series from L. A. Cotton, author of the Chastity Falls series.
I love this YA/Crossover series, it's never without its drama's, family drama's, friend drama's and the up's and downs of young love.
This is Kiera and Trey's story.
If you haven't read any of the previous books I would advise starting this series from the beginning. There are a series of events that lead up to Trey and Kiera's story and by doing this you would also learn to appreciate this close group of friends a lot more and the support they each give each other.
Kiera is the surprise step-sister of Kyle who was introduced in one of the previous books. Kiera has had a completely different upbringing to Kyle who has had more of a privileged life. Kiera is smart-mouthed and has more of a rougher, likable edge to her character, her clothes, her appearance, her background, she was completely different from Kyle's friends but she was welcomed by Kyle's family and friends, although at first, Kiera felt like she didn't belong she soon began to accept her new life as Kyle's sister.
Kiera was only 15 when she was first introduced to the group and the different way of life that was Kyle and his friends. Kiera first meets Trey on her first night in Wicked bay and she is immediately attracted to him.
Trey is a lot older than Kiera and also best friends with her new-found brother.
Kiera and Trey both felt strongly attracted to each other and throughout their story, they have a lot of moments, moments where they could have become something more than friends, moments were your think yes!! this is it but Trey for his own reasons fought it and prevented their relationship ever going further.
Trey was hurting Kiera a little more each time with his rejection, Kiera experienced a roller-coaster of high's and low's, she would get her hopes up for something more from Trey only to be let down again and again so when Trey moves away for college she moves on.
The plot goes from past to present.
The past is from when Kiera and Trey first met and from their moments and then the plot would go to the presenting another chapter when Trey returns home to visit after moving away for college and the two are reunited again, they both share the same group of friends so this was inevitable or fate?
Feelings are brought to the surface they have both tried to ignore.
A few years later and both a little older, both of them have tried to move on from each other and even have their own relationships now but they can't feel the same love or feel settled down with other people when they still have deep feelings for each other.
Trey and Kiera's love story is an example of life's wonderful timing, doing the right thing at the right time, fixing your mistakes and finally being honest with yourself and each other.
There was a scene were Kiera and Trey shared a kiss and my immediate thought was oh dear, the cheater hater's aren't going to like that but Kiera and Trey have the sort of story were they should have been together from the beginning anyway, their hearts were always tied to one another, they were both in relationships of convenience that were nothing serious and they are young, its all part of learning from mistakes, in a nutshell, it didn't bother me. This is Kiera and Trey's story and this is how it happened.
Another great addition to this series. I am always looking forward to who will have their own story next. A great series to follow for those who love YA and the crossover from Teen life into adulthood and the drama's that come with those young hormones.
Told in first person dual pov. Leads to hea.

The last place Christopher Jacobs, aka X, thought he’d find himself was behind bars. Ten years later, the boy he used to be is gone. In his place is the shell of a man with murder under his belt. Any emotion he once had was left under the gavel when he was given life in prison. That is until the new nurse in the infirmary joins the block.
Putting your hands on a prison employee will get you the hole, but some things are worth their punishment, and something tells him Lyla will be worth more than he bargained for.
Lyla Evans isn’t sure about her new job at a maximum security prison, but showing uncertainty and weakness isn’t an option. Taking care of murderers and rapists isn’t ideal, but survival is key. She’s warned ahead of time about a prisoner named X, but when she’s attacked, it’s the dangerous X that saves her. Fraternizing with the prisoners is forbidden, but sometimes the most forbidden things are the sweetest.

I did not expect this book to leave me with a sob fest.
I can normally sniff out a tear-Jerker, I avoid them until I need one, Just goes to show they are not always evident from a pretty blurb or behind and pretty cover.
I thought the story of Christopher Jacobs, aka X and Lyla Evans was going to be bitter-sweet and I couldn't have been more wrong.
This story is gritty right from the very beginning when a young Christoper Jacobs finds himself in a room with his girlfriend and his friend covered in blood, dismembered bodies and a blood fest and he has no recollection of how they were murdered or why he was still alive. Christopher Jacobs is arrested and sent to prison for murder, caught at the scene, covered in blood with all evidence pointing in his direction.
The story picks up 10 years later when Lyla begins her job at the prison, straight out of medical school and in need of money she had no choice but to accept the position as a nurse even if it would be the last place her deceased father who was a police officer would want her to be.
X has a reputation for getting into trouble, his size, his lack of communication and participation with the other inmates make him a target and they all want to be on top.
X is a mountain of a man compared to the gangly teen who first went into prison.
Lyla see's X regular, he's a frequent visitor to the medical room and even though Lyla should be afraid of X she see's something more. A relationship develops between the two secretly and then Layla becomes endangered when she starts poking around in X's case. The prison is corrupt, the governor is corrupt and there's and whole lot of angst.
"I was a murderer, at least allegedly. A filthy criminal who had no right to touch her sweetness or taste her thick desire, but fuck it. People took things they didn’t deserve all the time. Why should I deny myself when no one else ever did"?
I was intrigued, I was captivated with the plot and the characters, Slammer had it's hot moment's too and I could not put this book down. It was completely unpredictable, the twists I never saw coming and I completely applaud the author for going along with the characters lead although it broke my heart.
An unforgettable dark and gritty story that I enjoyed. *Contains scenes of rape and bloodshed. AVAILABLE IN KU
When reserved flight attendant Bianca gets one look at billionaire hotel owner James Cavendish, she loses all of her hard-won composure. For a girl who can easily juggle a tray of champagne flutes at 35,000 feet in three inch heels, she finds herself shockingly weak-kneed from their first encounter. The normally unruffled Bianca can't seem to look away from his electrifying turquoise gaze. They hold a challenge, and a promise, that she finds impossible to resist, and she is a girl who is used to saying no and meaning it.
Bianca is accustomed to dealing with supermodels and movie stars in her job as a first class flight attendant, but James Cavendish puts them all to shame in the looks department. If only it were just his looks that she found so irresistible about the intimidating man,
Bianca could have ignored his attentions. But what tempts her like never before is the dominant pull he seems to have over her from the moment they meet, and the promise of pleasure, and pain, that she reads in his eyes.
An alpha dominant billionaire and a flight attendant.
Instant attraction, obsession, possession, there were so many similarities to our beloved Christian Grey in James Cavendish.
The characters are different, the plot is different but Mr Cavendish or James has a room on the 4th floor in his apartment and the similarities with FSOG are comparable with a lot of things. I realise this book was published in 2012 ironically the same year as FSOG so this was the in thing for that time, its what readers wanted, they wanted more Christian Grey's, so with that in mind R.K. Lilly definitely delivered.
I enjoyed In Flight, its one of those books that have been sitting on my kindle a while, it was hot, I was intrigued the more the story progressed, it wasn't all sex Bianca does have a past as does James and I liked the characters.
Sadly this is not a standalone and you are left with a cliffhanger. Please note that this is a trilogy and if you read a lot of books like me, have a budget for your reading this works out at $16.43 OR £12.35 for all three books. So I enjoyed this book but won't be following the trilogy when I have so many other books on my kindle and use KU and audible But never say never, if I saw this on sale I would grab at it to see how James and Bianca's relationship progressed.
It’s what I’m known around town for.
A rock-hard body, covered in tattoos with a sizeable bulge that women spend their nights fantasizing about.
Women track me down, needing someone that will fuck them rough without holding back.
They find me because they need a distraction from reality. They need something to get their mind off of the boyfriend who screwed them over or the job promotion they got passed over on at work.
Sometimes it’s just because they need someone reckless in the bedroom before settling down with the right one.
‘Cause I’m sure as hell not that guy.
I’m not the suit wearing, flower-buying guy you take home to meet the parents. I’m not the guy who will make you feel all warm and fucking fuzzy inside.
I was boyfriend material once. Would’ve even made a good husband. That was before everything good in my world got ripped away, leaving me broken beyond repair.
These women come to me because they need an escape to cope with the real world, but none of them know I need it more than them. I need something to make me feel alive. Something to get my heart beating again.
Then Cami shows up in my hometown, broken-hearted and pissed off at the world, needing an escape from her cheating ex.
She’s the only one that doesn’t want to use my body. In fact, she wants nothing to do with it and has no problems telling me so.
She’s interested in one thing only from me—to move into my rental property. But the problem with that is the more we fight, the deeper she buries herself in my soul.
Sex material is what I’m good at, but for the first time, it may not be enough.

Well thankfully after a very loooong Blurb, the book didn't drag on too much and was to the point, with no dips in the plot. i.e moments were I began to lose interest. The blurb gives away to much, reading it back now there isn't much left to tell,
The blurb itself has major spoilers. I believe a blurb should have a little insight and almost like a teaser, tempting you to read it, not tell you what its all about.
About the book;
Enemies to lovers, lots of sexual tension, Sex material is in fact an enjoyable read.
Jensen is an Ass-hole, there's no other way to describe him, he's rude, cocky and bossy. He's the owner of a construction and home rental company and he treats everyone the same, his employees, his tenants, he's a workaholic who doesn't mess with words and he takes pride in his businesses but there's so much more to this broody man and it takes a stubborn schoolteacher looking for a place to rent from him to finally show his true colours and the man behind the pain.
Cami has just discovered her boyfriend of five years has been cheating on her, so while temporarily living with her best friend she discovers the house to next door being fixed up by Jensen and will be available for rent and she heads right over hoping to apply for the rental.
Jensen hates disruption while working, he works hard and crashes hard when he's finished at home.
Jensen and Cami meet for the first time and Jensen's rudeness doesn't go down well with Cami and he gets a piece of her mind of how much of an ass-hole she thinks he is.
I guess Jensen isn't used to being told by a women he's an ass, they normally come on to him for his body, use him for sex, so Cami is refreshing to him, it turns him on and he begins his quest in making her angry whenever he can while he's working next door.
Jensen is a hot, bossy, a dirty mouthed talker and as the story progresses you can't help but love all the sides to him especially the Jensen who begins to lose his barriers and that Jensen is absolutely swoon-worthy.
Jensen goes from sex material to boyfriend material and more, it was a fun journey.
Great characters, fun read with no heavy drama or angst.

I’m a motherless son to a father who hates me. Fury has lived and breathed in my black heart for so long, it’s a part of my soul now. The only thing that’s ever mattered to me is protecting my twin sister, Sabella, from my father’s temper.
So when the chance to join a secret society presents itself, there’s no question I’ll do whatever it takes to become a member and earn my place in the ranks of only the most Elite.
With a taste for the deviant, I’m drawn to the darkest of desires, and no one ever leaves my bed unscathed.
My task: seduce Patience Noelle, St. Augustine’s sweetheart and the mayor’s beloved daughter—then break her heart.
Sinning is what I live for, and deviance is my passion. Failing has never been an option.
But what happens when my sin becomes my curse—when destroying the only woman I’ve ever wanted is my key to protecting my sister?
Accept your sin wisely, for the tasks given to earn your place are not for the weak...they’re for The Elite.
This isn’t just my chance, it’s my legacy and reckoning.
I am Samuel Gunner.
I am WRATH
Are you Elite?
Lust - Ker Dukey - February 11th
Pride - J.D.Hollyfield - February 25th
Wrath - Claire C. Riley - March 11th
Envy - M.N. Fogy - March 25th
Greed - Amo Jones - April 8th
Gluttony - K. Webster - April 22nd
Sloth - GIana Darling - May 13th
Are you a sinner?
Wow, that was intense!
Immediately you are thrust into Samuel's young life. The life of a young boy without love, a young boy who grows to hate and has a whole lot of bitterness and anger towards his father. Samuel's only calm is his twin sister and his friend Patience, the mayor's daughter who visits when her mother is visiting his father.
Samuel witnesses things no young boy should see, hear's things no young ears should hear and those things mold him into a mountain of anger and hate and the need to be part of the Elite.
The frightened boy. The boy who just wants love. The boy with no mother. The murderer
Samuel's story begins as sympathetic for a young boy and sad, it claims you, and then you are taken to his older years, the young man who needs to dominate In the bedroom, the need to fight and his determination to get into the Elite, to destroy his father, the same man who he feels destroyed him as a boy.
The plot is gripping and as with the previous stories Samuel who is now Wrath is given a task to gain entry into the Elite, a task you begin to question if he will complete it or not, could he be that cruel, is revenge that important?
She's a target, a task, a mountain I'm going to have great satisfaction in conquering. Repeatedly. Until I'm done with her.
I'm not sure if this story runs parallel with the other books or all the events are in order, there was no mention of the girls from the previous books, Lillian though, the so-called school counselor was definitely up to her usual tricks and it felt like it's all happening at the same time. A little confusing but I'm sure it will all unfold and damn, there's four books to go.
This book is not for the faint-hearted, there are BDSM scenes, violence and rape content, it's definitely darker, I feel like I'm jumping down the rabbit hole at this point shouting yippee, like a kid on a slide.
I wish the characters were older, I've said this from the beginning, I struggle with actions of men when in reality they are high school boys and I actually forget at times until class or lessons are mentioned.
We're a brotherhood, and we've bonded. We're In this... whatever the fuck this is... together.
That sentence, I didn't feel this in this book like the others, Samuel faced most of the battles on his own and didn't lean on his new so-called brothers like previous characters.
Each book has been different because each book is by a different author but with the same plot weaving through it and I am looking forward to what ENVY brings next.
I have high hopes for these boys to strengthen their bond and take down the higher Elite, there were no signs of this yet but that alone has me chomping at the bit for more.
This book cannot be read as a standalone, it does finish with a cliffy, the series needs to be read in order. Told in first person dual pov.

Logan Trahan is one of the French Quarter’s hottest bartenders. A single, charming, sexy southern boy who’s proud to pour the best Pimm’s Cup in town. Yes, that’s his biggest accomplishment. So what?
Dana Doucet is a widowed mom of two who’s doing it all. And doing it well, thank you very much. But she had a moment — okay, an entire night — of weakness and gave in after, ironically, nine months of Logan’s naughty flirtations. And a couple of those Pimm’s Cups.
It was just one night, but now they’re stuck with each other forever. Or at least for the next eighteen years, eight months, and one week. Not that she’s counting.
Well, this is definitely big. But there’s no way it’s going to be easy.

Available in paperback from Books-A-Million, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon!
“You had one job.” Her cheeks were pink and her green eyes were flashing.
And Logan realized she really was pissed. And that if he kissed her right now, it wouldn’t help.
But he still wanted to.
“What did I do?”
“You got me pregnant.”
Okay, those were absolutely not the words that Logan had been expecting to hear from Dana Doucet. Ever.
Dana let out a long breath and paced to the other side of the office. “I’m pregnant.”
She spun back to face him. “I can’t believe you tried to get me to go out with you for nine months, and I finally give in—once—and now I’ve got another nine months of not being able to avoid you.”
That was not funny. But Logan felt his mouth curl anyway. “I do make an impression.”
A sweet romance, no angst or dramas and part of a series.
The second book in the series, I would say it can be read as a standalone but I felt left out a little bit, there is definitely a progression in the series. I felt I missed out on how all the characters got to know each other, how Logan and Dana first met but that's all, other than that it pretty much begins with the after events of Logan and Dana's one night stand.
Dana discovers she's pregnant, she's a single mum of two girls who lost her husband years before while serving his country.
Logan is the hot bar owner who has had the hots for Dana a while, I missed the flirting and the turn downs from Dana this was obviously in the previous book?
Discovering she's pregnant, Dana tells Logan, he is over the moon , ready to settle down and even instantly wants to get married.
Logan is a fun guy, adorable with the girls and even ends up being kick-ass at girls hair, taking them to dance etc he becomes one of the dance mum's.
Dana let's him be a part of all their lives but honestly sometimes she made it sound like she was doing him a favour and Logan tried his best, he wanted to be a dad, a husband, Dana just took her time letting it all sink in I think.
Dana will at times frustrate you but overall they are great likeable characters.
Basically the whole book is Logan's progression from chatty, fun-loving, smooth talking flirty bartender (something that must have also been in the previous book) to discovering he's having a baby, finding his way in a serious relationship and being a dad, which he rocked.
Taking it easy is a nice steady paced read with hot moments.
No angst or drama's, which personally I would have liked really, drama keeps me intrigued and I found myself drifting off a few times but in summary an enjoyable read with a swoon-worthy guy.

Finally, Wyatt's story. I am loving this series and couldn't wait for Wyatt.
He's the Joker, the lovable guy, he's made me laugh in the previous book but in All the wasted time you see the sadness and turmoil behind the joker mask of Wyatt.
Wyatt's story begins when he witnesses an accident, the car explodes and he fails to save someone, Wyatt blames himself for not being able to save her.
Wyatt and Scarlett meet at a beach side home when he takes himself away for a few days before going back to work as a police officer.
Scarlett is also on a break before she starts her new job.
What was supposed to be a one night stand turns into more when fate steps in they reunite. Scarlett starts her new job as a Psychiatrist at Wyatt's precinct.
A heartwarming story that also touches on the subject of mental health , family love and support.
An enjoyable read but I would have liked more chemistry between Wyatt and Scarlett, I thought the getting to know you phase, the flirting and the foreplay normally in a new relationship was amiss and it jumped into serious to quickly.
A recommended series that I am thoroughly enjoying from Michelle Heard. I love the brotherly love between the guys and the family feel the characters bring with their support for each other.
Looking forward to the next book in the series. Each book can be read as a standalone. Told in first person dual pov. Leads to hea.

★Book 1: Delicate Ink [FREE!]

This wasn't too bad for a freebie. I grabbed it in the hope that this would also be a good series to get stuck into.
Delicate Ink was released in 2015 so when I got to parts where BDSM was imparted into the plot, I realised that this was probably because of the 50 shades influence because it just didn't fit. This story is told in third person and multiple pov's another thing I couldn't get my head around with such a long series, surely these additional characters get their own book at some point? It just got confusing and I am used to reading first person now, so to be honest I wrestled with this too much but was determined to finish.
This book had such potential but I am aware this is early work from Carrie Ann Ryan and I will have to read something current before deciding if I like this authors style, I need to know if she now writes first person?.
The plot, well, it was ok, Austin is a swoon worthy tattoo artist and Sienna has just set up her own business across the street selling clothing, a boutique.
Austin and Sienna have a frosty start when Sienna discovers Austins moody ways but they soon become friends then eventually more.
Sienna has no family and Austin has it in magnitudes with brothers, sisters, cousins, there's a whole big bunch of Montgomery's so it was heartwarming to see Sienna who had been through tough times and loss finally get a happy ending and finding love.
In summary' a nice heartwarming story with hot scenes.
AN OUTLAW'S OBSESSION RUNS FURIOUS, DEEP, AND FOREVER...
Hell always screams into my life on two wheels – so why the hell does he look like heaven? Rabid's nothing like the other vicious thugs in the Grizzlies Motorcycle Club. When I see the dark ink dancing on his stunning body, I almost believe he's here to save me, instead of just seduce me.
But I won't be fooled again. All the club brings is ruin, and they're back to give me more.
Sure, Rabid saved me once. Doesn't mean I'll get closer and dig my grave deeper, no matter how nice his rough hands would feel locked around my waist. Angels never kiss like devils, right?
I can't get her outta my skull. My brothers say she's like broken glass, but they don't know she's already lodged in my heart.
She's tense, suspicious, and totally scared. I'm gonna find out why. Secrets don't mean a damned thing if she's in danger.
Christa's mine. I don't care if my patch makes her flip, or even if she keeps breathing fire my way every second we're together. I'm the best thing that ever walked into her life, and I'm not walking out.
I'll bleed rivers to get my brand on this woman. She's gonna wear it and get used to calling me her old man. I'll have my lips all over this redhead knockout if it's the last thing I do.

A hot MC romance.
I love MC for the angst, the drama, for the bit of rough. Outlaws Obsession had all that but I wanted more.
I was a little lost at first, Rabid previously met Christa in the previous book when she was rescued by the MC from one of their enemies. I have read the previous book but had to think back a bit as my focus was probably more on Missy and Brass from Outlaws Kiss at the time. I prefer not starting a new couples book were it picks up from the previous book, especially if you haven't read it.
Basically, since the incident where Rabid rescues Christa he can't get the redheaded Christa and her battered and scarred body out of his head and becomes obsessed to a point where he even uses one of the club whores who has the same red hair to find his release with.
There is a lot of sex before and after Rabid gets with Christa, it's hot but I found the words such as I spilled my seed in her and those kinds of words a little eye rolling. Apart from the MC club settling scores with enemies, there isn't much in the plot other than sex.
If you like your MC reads with a lot of sex this may be for you but I like more substance and it wasn't as enjoyable for me compared to other MC reads or the previous book.

Second chance romance, Hot tattoo artist, A Great plot with twists and turns, an unpredictable plot, it ticks all my box's and I it!!
Such a breath of fresh air and a unique story-line.
I have read books where the character suffers from amnesia, that isn't new or unique in that way but there was just something that had me longing to see how this all played out, it wasn't just a case of someone trying to regain their memories.
Kylie Scott leaves no room for boredom, the plot is spaced out brilliantly with angst, drama, hotness and I was captivated with the story from the very the moment Clem who is still recovering from her attack which left her with no memories, walks into the tattoo parlor asking Ed if he was the one who gave her a tattoo and she was asked to leave in anger and couldn't understand why.
You are taken on Clem's journey of trying to piece back together her life and trying to figure out who she was before the accident and she discovers along the way that she likes creating a new Clementine. Her first kiss, first sexual experience, Clem's story is Bittersweet.
A beautiful story of second chances with twists and turns woven into the plot. I loved it and was sad when I reached the hea.
Narrated brilliantly, I felt like I was there with the characters and although the narrator is female she didn't half make Ed come across as one swoon-worthy and sexy alpha who made me drool.
I want more like this, I loved it and would recommend it.
I listened on audio which has been released first with the eBooks to follow April 7th 2019
Fate made us brothers, loyalty made us family.
A bond that runs deeper than the Mississippi, my brothers and I might not have the same DNA but what we share is far more powerful. Our loyalty to one another and the man who made us a family is stronger than those bound by blood.
The most sought out sharp shooters in the country, our paths were certain, before one woman changed my life and altered the relationship I have with my brothers.
Ryanne Lockwood disappeared without a trace but her memory never faded, torturing me on the darkest nights. Until a twist of fate leads me back to her, sending our worlds to collide once more, and this time, there will be no escaping me.
Justice Creed’s bad boy appeal caught my attention from the moment he rolled into town. For years I watched from afar, swallowing up the rumors that surrounded him.
Until we shared a night of forbidden passion. One that destroyed my heart and reshaped my soul, and it sent me fleeing from the only town I’ve ever known.
Now, years later, he's barged back into my life, uncovering a secret I've worked so hard to keep and it's one that will change our lives forever.
Oh wow! this book ticked all my box's
That cover alone had me one clicking JUSTICE, but the story, I cannot tell you how engrossed I was with Justice and Ryanne's story.
Bossy Alpha, second chance romance, secret baby, hot brothers with a promise of more from the Creed brothers, K.C Lynn has me giddy just thinking about this series now that I have read JUSTICE.
Justice has a sad backstory, he's a young boy in foster care along with two of his two other friends, they look out for each other, protect each other, these friends later make an oath and became brothers when they finally flee the abuse of the Foster parents and the system and begin living on the streets until they are taken in by a guy who then becomes their father.
They all share one common denominator: pain.
The Creed brothers were something to behold in the school halls they were they type of guys every girl wanted to be with. The Creed brothers have a strong family bond and no-one stands in the name of their family.
"he flashes me a cocky smirk that does all sorts of things to my insides and walks away, leaving me standing alone like a lovesick fool. The man is beautifully infuriating".
Ryanne has a completely different upbringing to Justice, she is from a wealthy home with powerful connections within her town but she's also a product of wealth cannot buy you love scenario. Ryanne is also abused by her mother and there's more to that story the further along the plot goes. When Ryanne discovers she is pregnant she flees town afraid that her parents would make her abort the baby, she also flees not telling the father because of his play boy reputation.
"I grew up my whole life without anyone ever loving me and I’ll be damned if I marry a man who doesn’t either."
Ryanne and Justice's story picks up 6 years later when they are reunited.
"I always need him, his touch, his commanding ability to evoke things in me I’ve never felt, to deliver a mind-numbing pleasure only he can".
I loved it, I was captivated with it all, Justice is one bossy protective and swoon-worthy Alpha and I cannot wait for more in this series.

FAn emotional story of love, loss, regrets and forgiveness.
You are immediately thrust into the sadness and loss within this story, Tilly losing not only her brother but her best childhood best friend and neighbor when there is a fatal accident involving her brother, her friend Lincoln and his brother who was drunk while driving the car.
Lincoln and his brother survived but Tilly's brother didn't. Lincoln's brother along with his family is shunned by the community and they all have to move away.
It's a sad beginning to the story, and as the story progressed Tilly and her family are still very much living in the past with their hurt and loss.
The story picks up again after the introduction to 4 years later when Linc returns to do renovations on the old house ready for his parents to sell. Tilly tries to avoid Linc and he also out of respect tries to stay away from Tilly and her parents but the pull between them becomes too much, they also share the same friends.
After the end is also a slow burn friends to lovers story, there are a lot of issues the characters have to work through before anything at all can happen between Linc and Tilly and although I like my romance with a faster pace I found it really slow with nothing holding my interest such as angst and drama BUT although it was slow going, it also fit with the circumstances and that wasn't something to be rushed.
A heartfelt story that would be appreciated on a lazy day were you can soak up and absorb the emotions and the journey.
