It was easy to fall in love with a Larsson—seriously who could resist any one of those boys? And while each them had taken turns featuring as Maya’s adolescent crush, there was only one of them who had been her best friend.

Alex Larsson.

She’d loved him the most, convinced they’d be friends forever. Which might have happened if Maya’s father hadn’t been a shady criminal with a mistress on the side.

Banished from L.A. meant leaving her old life behind, forgetting those perfect Larsson boys and her best friend. And forget about all of them she did. Well, up until her fancy law degree landed her an awesome job back in the city she’d once called home. And boy was she glad to be home.

Oh, and her old BFF? Not only had Alex Larsson gotten a fancy law degree of his own, but he’d turned into the hottest man she’d ever seen. And what she wanted now couldn’t be further from friendship if she tried.

Did she risk tainting the memory of the purest, most amazing relationship of her life for the “possibility” of more?

Yeah, some things are worth the risk.
And Alex Larsson, was one of them.

A fun, childhood, best friends to lovers romance.

I am quickly becoming a huge fan of T Gephart, this is my third book and each time I finish with a smile on my face.

Alex and Maya were separated at the age of 16, when Maya moved away with her mother after she left her father, years later and Maya returns for a new job as a lawyer, when she meets her childhood best friend again she is shocked at the hottie lawyer before her when she was younger she always had a crush on his older brother, her new crush becomes her childhood best friend.

#1 Love is a fun, hot and sexy romance that I couldn't put down. There are no spoilers with regards to previous stories and the other Larsen brothers, so I cannot wait to dive into more in this series now I have finished this book, each book can be read as a standalone so I suppose you can either start at the beginning or take your pick of one of these 6 hottie Larsson brothers.

A Mafia Romance love triangle with no cheating.

I could easily become addicted to this series, I was hooked from the very beginning right up to the end.

A mafia series based within an Elite school that contains Mafia kids, there are so many like this recently but Rachel Van Dyken released this series beginning in 2013 so you could say it's one of the first of it's kind, I am so glad I finally got around to reading this.

Nixon is a young Mafia boss carrying the weight of his family on his shoulders while also in college, the plot contains other members of his family, his sister that goes to the same school and also his Mafia soldiers. Then there's Tracey who joins the school and hasn't a clue that she is crossing paths with the Mafia.

Tracey has lived with her Grandfather for years following the sudden death of her parents, she was taken to a secluded farm, Tracey's Grandfather is also a Mafia boss but Tracey has been sheltered, doesn't even know who her Grandfather really is and is therefore clueless of the Mafia ways and the people she is going to be mixing with and even up-to the point were she becomes in danger while out with Nixon she is still innocent and oblivious to the people and what is going on around her.

Nixon is immediately drawn to Tracey and her innocence when he first see's her but so is Chase his cousin who is a foot soldier of Nixon and as the plot progresses Chase is also assigned to protect Trace pushing them closer together but Trace only has eyes for the Mafia boss.

Two Mafia families that should be enemies, Trace and Nixon become the romeo ad Juliette in the middle of Mafia family wars.

With action, twists & turns, angst and a love triangle of the hearts in the mix of this Mafia read, I found it really addictive and a really good YA Mafia romance and I am looking forward to reading more.

ELITE doesn't really finish with a full hea, although it's not a cliffhanger it does leave you wanting more.

When we were eleven, Oliver Ford Pemberton dared me to jump off a barn roof. He said you couldn’t break a leg from a 12-foot-jump.

He lied.

(You can also break a collarbone, which served him right as far as I was concerned.)

I wish I could say it was the last dare I ever took from him, the last bet I ever made with him, the last time I ever trusted Oliver Ford Pemberton.

But it wasn’t.

Because he had the nerve to grow up gorgeous, charming, and sexy. And as we got older, the dares only got dirtier—and the betting stakes higher—until finally, he left me in pieces.

I swore I’d never talk to him again.

But twenty years after I took that flying leap, he’s back in my life, daring me to risk everything for him: my job, my self-worth, and my heart.

How many chances does love deserve?

Picture

A childhood friends to lovers story.

Undeniable is the second book in this-interconnected series. I really enjoyed the first book which was Frannie and Mack's story and I was also looking forward to more in the series.

Chloe is Frannie's sister and one of three other girls, she's in her late twenties and does the PR for Cloverleaf farm which is the family business and for a while has been looking to broaden her horizons in a distillery. When her father sets her up with her childhood best friend unexpectedly for a business proposition, she then has an offer she can't refuse but Chloe has her doubt's especially were Oliver Pemberton is concerned, the boy now man, who has been the bane of her life most of her life and her trust in him is gone especially after the last time they saw each other which was a few years ago.

There is a lot of history between Chloe and Oliver Pemberton, you could say they have had a love hate relationship all their lives, their mothers were pregnant at the same time and they never spent any time apart until teenage years and things started to go downhill.
Told in first person dual pov and goes from past to present, with Oliver's amazing cock ups over and over again with Chloe, and how Chloe fell for his charm each time and forgave him until the next time. Oliver was charming but always put himself first and didn't always use his mouth filter either, he made mistakes over and over again which leads to present day and wanting to go into partnership with the only person he could trust, his childhood best friend but he needs to convince her he has changed first.

This is a story of best friends growing up together and a story of mistakes and more for Oliver than Chloe its also about maturing not so gracefully, which leads to honesty and being humble.

The push and pull was great, the chemistry was hot and Undeniable although predictable was an enjoyable light read and a story about best friends who became more at the right time.

THE MOTH AND THE FLAME BY B.B REID: REVIEW & BUY LINKS

THE FLAME

Here lies Louchana Valentine. She was a homeless, orphaned virgin.

I never cared what my gravestone would say until I landed in deep with a powerful gangster. Lucky for me, my best friend happens to be ruthless too. I should feel guilty that he’s forced to turn on the man who’s been a father to him. Except I’ve always known that Wren’s soul wasn’t as black as he claimed.

He was good.
He was beautiful.
He was mine.
He just didn’t know it yet.

And with Wren keeping me safe, I’ve got time left to rewrite the end of my story. But if he has his way, virgin is already carved in stone.

THE MOTH

I’ve never known anyone as alluring as Lou. Or as frustrating. Since the night she saved my life and stole my wallet for her troubles, I couldn’t stay away.

She became my onus.
My light.
My…anyway.

With nowhere to run, I’m forced to trust someone I never expected. At least with Lou safe in Blackwood Keep--far away from me—I’ll die with my conscience intact. Because she no longer looks at me with friendship in her eyes. Those iridescent blues shine with a different need entirely, and I’ve never been able to deny her.

The Moth and the Flame returns to the world of Blackwood Keep, rival gangs, and deliciously flawed yet completely addicting characters! This second installment in the When Rivals Play series is a continuation of the events that occurred in The Peer and the Puppet. Content suitable for ages 18+

What an amazing story this turned out to be.

Firstly THE MOTH AND THE FLAME, cannot be read as a standalone. I finished the first book and immediately dove into this one, THE PEER AND THE PUPPET, didn't exactly finish on a huge cliffhanger but I certainly had a lot of unanswered questions. I had my doubts, I didn't feel a hge pull to go on but let me tell you this is like betting on the least favourite in a horse race and then it sneaks through the ranks and wins, I would have been kicking myself .

THE MOTH AND THE FLAME, however, began with two completely different characters and I was feeling a little confused until it all came together. These two books are like one big puzzle and little by little the pieces slot into place.
I had my doubts, I didn't feel a huge pull to go onto the next book but let me tell you, this book started off like I was betting on the least favorite in a horse race, watching the race but not completely sure if it's got a shot or not and then it begins to sneak through the ranks and finally wins, I would have been kicking myself if I hadn't followed through to the next book, once the pieces start to slot in, you get it, WINNER!!!.

An epic teenage best friends to lovers story, a slow-burn, two characters who's backstories unravel gradually. BB Reid had me chomping at the bit for answers.

Wren is a gang leader, he becomes not only Lou's best friend showing up at times when she needs him most and Lou is the lost teenage girl, living in care after the death of her parent's. Lou is rebellious, feisty, she pickpockets and has a lot of backbone, you wouldn't think she would need someone to look out for her but Wren injects himself into her life and she becomes addicted to him, she calls and he comes, they become each others obsession and addiction.

I loved the incremental ascension of this book that took you right up to where it all comes together, the connections to the other characters in the previous book, twists, and turns, the friends to lovers romance between Wren and Lou. Wren's push and pull with Lou, his secrets and his feelings of not being good enough for her. I couldn't get enough and when I finally got to the end I still wanted more.

What made this a high ranker for me was the intensity of Wren's character, the epic gradual love story, the bad boy Wren and the softening of his heart for only one person in his life.. Lou, I love this kind of romance.

Now the pieces are finally in place I cannot wait for the next book, the other characters also had me curious to what had gone on in their lives, there are still twists and turns coming and I cannot wait, especially for Jamie, I am hooked.

A PIERCED HEARTS DUET- CHOOSING YOU BY  M. ROBINSON: REVIEW & BUY LINKS

A single glance.
A fleeting moment.
A solitary touch could make everything worth it.
This was my breaking point.
This was where I lost myself completely.
I did the only thing that made sense.
The only thing I had left to give.
I begged her…

To take me with her.

Book 2: The Conclusion to The Pierced Hearts Duet

Picture
Picture
So much more than a romance, this is a journey of destined hearts.

Choosing you is the second part of this duet and picks up exactly where book one, Choosing us finishes.

I finished Choosing Us after being completely captivated by this story and so eager to read the next book. Choosing us began with a journey of two children who found each other while in foster care, fell in love and then the story moved to the present, to Dr Pierce and the man he is today, a shell of his former self until the introduction of a third character.

Camila became the third person in this Journey, the nanny, the hired help to look after Dr Pierce's children, Camila and Aiden have a potent chemistry from the moment they met, you can feel it from the pages, you can feel the push and the pull in this man and his inner turmoils but the nagging question throughout this book is where is the girl Aiden aka Dr Pierce  fell in love with, were was his wife, were was the mother of these beautiful three children, a question that ran throughout the plot of this book and just when you think you are finally going to get the answers, the plot took another swift diversion.

Oh the twists and turns, and oh my heart. This duet is heartbreaking, heartwarming, it's tells of life dishing up disasters to good people and how fate steps in with a healing balm they didn't see coming. It's a journey of life, love and soulmates.

Beautifully written by M Robinson, a whole different feel to any of her previous books and I absolutely adored it for completely different reasons to books I have also loved by this author before.

A must read for one of those lazy Sunday days.

Told in dual pov, contains no cheating and leads to a beautiful hea.

EXCERPT

Before I knew what was happening, I blinked, and I was suddenly sitting in my car. Aimlessly staring out the windshield with a bottle of Jack gripped tightly in my grasp. There was nothing left of me, just a hollow shell of a man slouched over in the driver’s seat. One leg hanging out the open door with the
other firmly pressed on the brake pedal. My weighted-down head bobbed side to side, trying to remain conscious as I chugged yet another swig of the fiery burning liquor. Welcoming the sting as it soared down my throat. Except I didn’t feel a fucking thing other than the agonizing pain that had taken over my being. Not even the whiskey could make that go away.

I absolutely adore this series and the Harris family.

Roan Dewalt,  all I can say is, WOW!

I swooned hard, this guy was one of my favourite characters for completely different reasons to the Harris brothers.

Allie is a Harris, the cousin who moved away with her father. When Allie returns to the UK following a breakup for a family wedding she's hurt and angry especially when the other woman is her own stepsister. Allie devises a plan to have a one night stand, record it and send it to her ex to show she's not broken but she didn't expect the strong connection with Roan, her plan to just use him backfired when their night of passion became unforgettable for both of them.

Years later Allie decides to move back to the Uk, she hasn't seen Roan since that night, they both agreed it was a one-off and although she never deleted the recording after her one night stand with Roan, it definitely comes back to bite her on the arse.

I loved this book, it was great fun and I loved catching up with all the Harris's, I am definitely not ready for this series to end yet and would love Mac's book who is another team-mate and best friends with Roan, he came across as fun and cheeky and there was definitely something brewing with one of the other side characters.

A definite must read series, full of British humour and character. Each book can be read as a standalone and is told in first person dual pov's.  I have listened to some of this series on audio and I highly recommend it, I could even hear the narrators voice as I read this book when Camden, Booker or any of the Harris brothers were speaking, Will is a brilliant narrator for these boys.

What an amazing journey and trilogy from Anna Bloom

"You're my ray of golden sun." "Covered in ink" "Decorated in art"

Please note that this book cannot be read as a standalone, this is the final book in Faith and Elijah's story but not the last in the series.

When I first started reading about Faith from the very first book Tears of Ink, I ever expected the young college girl who hid behind her Ink to become the amazing strong woman I read about in Tears of Gold.

Faith was victim of sexual abuse from her stepbrother for years, after leaving home she found her escape in one night stands and in her art work, she was a loner, an introvert. Today Faith is a woman facing her past to embrace her future with Eli.

A beautiful story of growth, standing up for ones self and fighting for what you want. This young woman with tattoos not only embraced a different way of life but also did't allow it to mould her. There were changed in Eli too, he was no longer going along with his Grandmothers demands, the British aristocracy way of life but making his own choices.

I liked both characters and I felt connected not only with them but with other characters who were a part of Eli and Faith's journey and I am looking forward to more in this series.

Ana Blooms writing puts you at ease, I followed this trilogy with ease and enjoyed her way of writing, there was angst and drama in all the right places along with hotness and happiness, a brilliant balance in a romance read.

Told In first person dual pov and leads to a hea. Contains talk of abuse but does not go into graphic details.

Final book in The Southern Heroes Series!

I don’t play games. If I see something I want, I go for it.

After my late wife passed away, I haven’t been attracted to another woman. That’s until I come face to face with Chloe Jordaan with her sassy mouth and larger than life personality.

She’s the complete opposite of me.
I’m not afraid to commit, where Chloe’s the epitome of ‘Bad Girl.’ I’m rational and serious, where Chloe’s carefree and fun.

She keeps reminding me we’re only friends with benefits, but I can’t stop myself from wanting to make her mine.

She’s everything I shouldn’t want but turns out to be exactly what I need.

Will the South African Bad Girl ever fall for the American Alpha Hero?

Picture

Picture
Alas, the last book in the series. A series I have really enjoyed reading. At times I have loved the closeness of the characters, the family feel and enjoyed seeing each of these characters find love.

All stories have had their own spin on things and We were lost touched on grief and the issues the characters were facing through their loss.

This is Zac and Chloe's story. Zac has always been in the background in this series, he works in the precinct like some of the other characters, so yes he's another hottie in a uniform.
Zac is still grieving over his wife who was shot years ago, he hasn't moved on, doesn't feel the need to move on, he is still very much in love with his wife until the sassy Chloe arrives from South Africa. Chloe is the best friend of Emma from book 1 in this series, she is the best friend that helped Emma escape all those years ago and ow with the loss of her mother she decides to go over to the States to see her friend.

This was a good story about starting over taking chances for both characters.

I still didn't' feel fully convinced Zac began to love Chloe as much as his deceased wife, I hope she won't ever feel second best, I would have liked more from Zac in the latter part of the book to prove me wrong but overall it was a touching story.

Told in first person dual pov. Can be read as a standalone. Available in KU.

An enjoyable, fun second chance romance.

I listened to this in audio. Brilliantly narrated.

I loved  the whole girls on holiday, getting away, letting their hair down kind of story with girly times, laughter, humour, flirting, sassy & witty British character's, which gave it a Bridget Jones kind of feel. Throw in a group of boys and Erica meeting her first love from a holiday way back when she was a teenager at just fifteen and this girly holiday turns into a sexy second chance romance.
Fun read with plenty of giggles.
Told in first person dual pov. leads to a hea with a surprise I didn't see coming so I also felt it was a little bit of a rushed ending but overall I liked it.

THE MAN I CAN'T HAVE BY SHANORA WILLIAMS: REVIEW & BUY LINKS

Picture

It started as a simple search for a landscape designer…

I wanted a beautiful backyard for my new home and my neighbors suggested I look into Ward Landscaping & Design.
The owner had no pictures of himself on his website, just a portfolio of nice outdoor sitting areas, pools, and vibrant gardens that I’d always dreamed of having.
Of course I hired him.
I expected to meet an average guy, but Mr. Marcel Ward is far from your average man. He’s handsome, and well-built, and his smile—though a rare trait—is truly infectious.
He’s every woman’s dream—a handsome, older man who doesn’t mind getting down and dirty to create something beautiful all because of his passion for it. Unfortunately, that lucky woman can’t be me.
Although Mr. Ward tests my limits, quickens my breath, and makes my heart skip a beat when he’s around, I’ve promised to devote myself to my husband.

So why am I falling for a man I know I can’t have?

Well if you haven't guessed it from the blurb, let me tell you plainly CHEATER ALERT! yes if you don't like cheating in your books back off and run now.

Omg, the angst, I got to 87% and it was like waiting for a car crash to happen.

Gabby is a new bride, a trophy wife of a wealthy young man who she has been with for two years and has only been married a few weeks. Her husband moves her away from home following the wedding, from her family and friends, buys a nice shiny new house and just keeps the shiny new objects coming and Gabby is living in wedded bliss until she hires a landscaper for her garden and that something she keeps feeling is missing, well, it  turns up in the form of Marcel, a straight talking, dirty talking, hottie landscaper with a heartbreaking backstory.

The author did a great job of letting you feel a connection to these characters and as the story progresses more is revealed about Gabby's husband too, so you start to sway towards the idea of Gabby being with someone she deserves. The more the story progresses she begins to listen to her old friend, to Marcel's observations about her new husband, the things she has been blinded by, like his possessiveness and his lack of respect for her and the more people who are honest with her, her blinkers begin to come away especially with Marcel saying what he see's, hes a man who really calls a spade a spade, pardon the pun and Gabby begins so see these things too.

Gabby can't deny her strong attraction towards Marcel, this is a slow burn until finally the sparks fly and their chemistry is steaming hot but Gabby's husband Kyle isn't stupid, he's devious and I was cringing near the end knowing the time was coming were he would find out about their affair at some point, despite Kyle never being home, Gabby begin to change, he would notice differences in her.

This author is brave, I loved reading something different, it was what it was, a bored housewife always at home on her own who becomes attracted to someone who makes her feel wanted, attractive.

He is so perfect- everything I've always wanted in a man. Too bad he can never be mine.

"You're everything I never knew I wanted" He shudders a breath, pressing his forehead to mine. Our eyes connect. "It's just my luck that the woman I really want is already taken by someone else."

This is my first book by this author and I would definitely read more, I am certainly looking forward to the next book.

THE MAN I CAN'T HAVE ends on a cliffhanger, is told in first person dual pov and is full of angst, hotness and suspense.

I swooned so hard at the end.

Boyfriend Bargain is college romance focused around Zach, AKA 'Z' Morgan and Sugar Ryan.

Z is the hot-shot sports Hockey star that every girl wants, he's cocky, confident but has his demons that he keeps to himself, Z also has the persona of a man-whore, keeping girls around for no longer than necessary, there is even a rumor of a girlfriend of the month club that each girl wants in on. Z has already been drafted into the NHL but wanted to stay on at college to finish, so he's a sought after guy with a promising future in the hockey world.

Sugar has quite a sad history, a daughter of a single mother who died and had to leave her home to live with her mothers best friend, Sugar wants to go to law school and is a hard worker with a high IQ however she keeps getting reject letters and discovers the Law school she wants to go to has a Dean who is a huge fan of Zach Morgan so she comes together with a plan, a proposition to help her get her acceptance letter and that is to be the girlfriend of the Hockey superstar. But how does a quiet, none party going girl get close to someone who is always surrounded by girls?

This really was an interesting story, there is a lot more to these two characters and the plot than just a fake boyfriend trope, Z isn't the man-whore or the player off the ice he perceives to be and behind the mask is a young man suffering with anxiety.

I laughed, I swooned, I was captivated with the characters and the plot that held my interest throughout. I loved how the whole story progressed and couldn't get enough. Boyfriend Bargain is so much more than I expected and contained everything I love in a romance read, including a good story, interesting characters, and hotness.

Told in first person dual pov, does not contain cheating or any Major angst. Leads to a hea and is a standalone.

Definitely a one click buy.

I’m unpredictable.
A genius, an underachiever.
I’m the song, the voice, the passion, the pain.
I am failure.
I do music because it’s what I am, but sometimes that’s not enough.
A slave to my nature, I wait for it to show mercy and drop a gift in my lap.
Because the music chose me.
I’m its victim not its gift.

She destroyed my career.
Ruined my life.
Pushed me from the shadows and exposed my lies.
She’s the fire that destroys lesser men,
and now her flames are aimed at me.
She loves to watch me burn,

but the part we never saw coming?

Sometimes it takes a fire to ignite a spark
And slay the darkness.

An NSB standalone novel.

I wasn't expecting that!

I have read so many Rock-star romances but this is set apart. when I think back on some of the words, some of the Lyrics that went around and around in Jesse's head, its poetic, its Brilliance, Its damn good writing!.

Jesse is a tortured soul, an addict, an escape artist from real life running to the use of pills, drugs he believes Will temporarily set him free from the anguish of his past, from his fears, from his thoughts and triggers, he runs to escape the thoughts he can't control.
Mila is a blogger who enters his life, not i a good way at first she is an influential blogger with famous parents and her review does damage, it shoots Jesse and his band from the top right to rock bottom.

LIMELIGHT is an emotional and heartbreaking story, I was moved many times, perplexed many times for Jesse, I laughed, had tears in my eyes, I was on a complete and utter roller-coaster with this book, with these characters and I loved every raw minute of it.  An enemies to lovers story that is unique.

This is Jesse's story from his dark childhood, to his fame to hitting rock bottom and climbing back up with the help of the new light in his life... Mila

I listened to this in audio and boy did it bring it to life, Zachary Webber is an amazing narrator with a sultry voice, I love any book he narrates, haven't been disappointed yet, however, he is not so good at the female pov or a British accent but I soon got used to it, Jesse would be in his head one minute, then out, talking out loud and Zachary did a brilliant job of putting this across. I think a female narrator for Mila's parts would have been far more effective though.

LIMELIGHT can be read as a standalone, this is my first book by Alyson Santos and there were no spoilers or anything that left me feeling like I should have read previous books but I will definitely be reading more from this author. LIMELIGHT Leads to HEA

Although Limelight touches on drug use it does not go into heavy details and rather focuses on the characters emotions and thought.

As Darby Dixon sits in a tiny Texas church bathroom on her wedding day holding a positive pregnancy test, she realizes that of all the bad decisions she's made in her life, marrying her abusive fiancé would be the worst. She's never been able to stand up for herself, but she'll sure as hell stand up for her baby. With just the cash she has on hand, she runs to get a bus ticket to the farthest place she can afford. Between her sheer grit and pageant-queen smile, she lands a job as a front desk clerk at the Colorado Springs Hotel. It's not a glamorous life, but she and her baby are all that matters.

A former Marine, Scott "Trex" Trexler has worked in the most dangerous, corrupt, war-torn places on earth. Now he finally has a chance to return to the last place he'd felt at peace--Colorado Springs, Colorado, to take a new job with the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, a top-secret military installation buried deep within the granite.

The moment Trex walks into the inn, Darby knows he's dangerous. There's no way she wants to get involved with another man who seems to be keeping way too many secrets. As charming and devastatingly gorgeous as Trex is, he clearly isn't telling her everything. But as wildfires rage on the mountain and Darby's ex-fiancé shows he isn't so willing to let her go, both she and Trex are soon to find out that what you don't know absolutely can hurt you.

A RUNAWAY BRIDE AD A SWOON-WORTHY SAVIOR

From here to you is an interesting story with a run away bride and a Guy who has waited his whole life for the one and finally he finds her.

I have mixed feelings for this book, the blurb tells you way to much about what is going to happen in the plot so there are no surprises there.

Darby flees her abusive husband to be with the help from a friend and settles into a hotel were she begins to work on reception and is taken under the wing of her boss and hotel owner who also gives her room and board.
Trex is ex military and is starting a new job at the facility up in the mountains in a top secret position.

Darby's ex is military so she has sworn off men in uniform, even all the fire fighters known as the hot holes that are in town and hit on her don't even turn her head but Trex has been waiting for a certain woman all his life claiming when he see's her he will know and that someone is Darby.

A slow burn at first Trex has to work for Darby's affection and trust but he is persistent. Trex becomes Darby's new savoir, her comfort when she has fears about being a mother or if her ex will find her, Trex is the perfect kind of guy and Darby is lucky to find him but there is still a lot of push and pull at times due to Darby's insecurity's.

There are characters from previous books in this story, Taylor and Tylor Maddox who are firefighters/hot holes, staying at the same hotel as Trex and I thought there was a little two much of them, it had me confused because I haven't read their stories, I don't know what has gone on with them or what has happened in their lives or what the connection was with Trex so I would say this book could be read as a standalone but reading previous books would be helpful, many times I just felt like I was missing something or questioning if I had missed something but only when there were other characters in the scene and I was trying to connect the dots.

In summary FROM HERE TO YOU is a story or new beginnings, finding your one true love, it has a burst of excitement at the end with some angst and danger but overall it was slow going but a swoon worthy story.

This is the first book in a new series obviously a crossover from Jamie McGuire's previous series told in first person dual pov and I would read more in this series now I have read the first one as long as it has more action and angst.
