From the shadows, I’ve tracked her every move.
I was just supposed to watch her. But now, I can’t stop.
She’s my obsession. My addiction. My poison.
Watching her isn’t enough.
The savage in me won’t be satisfied until I take her and make her mine.
One taste and I’m hooked. Too bad for her… I’m never letting her go.
Stalked. Hunted. Captured.
He took me from my life and locked me away in his compound.
The ex-con. The big bad biker. Inked, bearded, and inhumanely sized.
And yet, every time he looks at me, I melt.
This broken beast hides demons behind those brutal eyes. I hate him… and I crave him. His touch, his words, his lips.
When my enemies come for me, he vows to protect me as long as I do what he says. I’ll be secure in this prison he created for me.
But who will protect me from him?

Another book by A. Zavarelli I could not put down.
Two very complex and damaged characters. Birdie is the sister of Gypsy from the first book Confess. Gypsy has now settled down and is due to give birth but she still can't help worrying about her younger sister who has gone of the rails since she became old enough to fend for herself and is no longer under Gypsy's wing.
Birdie is a strong character with a past of abuse, If you have read the first book you will have some idea of what these two girls went through in their childhood and what they did to survive. Birdie was still turning tricks and stalking men in casino's until Gypsy stepped in and asked Lucian who is now her husband to help her by keeping Birdie safe and out of trouble until after the baby is born to ease her of worry.
Lucian contacts Ace who is a member of an MC but also close to Lucian. Lucian saved Ace when he had nowhere to go and no-one to turn to, he had served years in prison for a crime he didn't commit and Lucian was his saviour, Ace was indebted to him and without being asked twice, Ace agreed to get Birdie willing or not and keep her with him.
If you have watched the film The Green Mile then you know what I mean when I say Ace reminded me of the main character in that film, not quite the same character, opposites in fact but I could not stop thinking about the similarities in other ways. I felt for Ace, for what he had been through as a child, for what he went through in prison, the wasted years and the things he put himself through as an adult.
One look at Birdie when he first met her and this man who had never had any feelings of love or care for another except a girl long ago who was taken from him began to be obsessed with Birdie, another reason why he immediately agreed when Lucian had asked him to take care of Birdie. Ace was possessive, protective and although Birdie went kicking and screaming at first, the development in their relationship was heartwarming.
I could not put this book down, I didn't want to break the momentum I had while reading about these two characters and the excitement of what was to come. There is angst, danger, heartwarming moments, hotness and characters that are complicated until they complete one-another.
CONVICT is not an MC read although Ace is part of one, the plot very much focuses on the characters and what is going on in their lives and not club business like you would find in an MC read.
Told in first person's dual pov, leads to hea, can be read as a standalone. Another brilliant read from A. Zavarelli.

There’s two sides to every love story. The how you fell in love, and the how you fell apart.
This is ours.
The cardinal rule of friendship is you don’t mess with your friend’s sister. That goes double when she’s his little sister.
It was just supposed to be fun. She wasn’t supposed to end up being the love of my life. And I definitely wasn’t supposed to break her heart.
Ainsley is a wedding dress designer. That should’ve been a warning that she’s a hopeless romantic. That should’ve clued me in that she believes love conquers all.
But there are some things that love can’t fix. I’m one of them.
She thinks love is the answer.
But love is the reason I let her go.

Emotional. I actually got a tissue out for this one.
Prescott Lane always manages to touch my heart with her characters, she is an amazing writer and I have got to the point now were I just one click anything she writes.
JUST LOVE is a friends to lovers story but more than that. Charlie and Brody lost their parents in a tragic accident, Ainsley was just 15 at the time so Brody became her carer and along with his girlfriend Skye and his best friend Rhett they worked around their studies and all pitched in to raise Charlie.
Ainsley moves away to college and on her return Rhett realises he no longer looks at Ainsley like a little sister, his feeling go deeper than that and the feelings are reciprocated.
A secret relationship develops and of course it has to stay secret, neither of them want Brody to know, not in the early days anyway.
This is really early on in the story which goes from past to present so you know something happens further on in the story that separates them at some point.
I was so eager to find out what happened and when I did, oh my heart, I did not expect such a heart-breaker in this story. No-one dies, no-one cheats but there is an underlying message to this story, some people love you for who you are, broken pieces and all and sometimes you just have to let them and stop seeing your flaws, stop seeing yourself as unlovable, seeing your cracks, your insecurities, your illness, your disability, whatever it is let yourself be loved.
Told in first person dual pov and leads to a hea.
A recommended heart warmer, a beautiful love story and ideal Sunday read. Enjoy

I asked for his criteria for bed buddies-that's the PG version.
He swore at me and said he didn't do groupies. And just like that, our friendship was off to a great start.
Reese Forster was the starting point guard for the Seattle Thunder.
Gorgeous. Cocky. Loved by the nation.
He's also attending preseason basketball training camp where I used to work.
Correction: where I work again, because I was fired from my last job.
And I might have a tiny bit of baggage, but that's normal. Right?
Reese and I shouldn't have become friends. We shouldn't have become roommates.
And we really shouldn't have started sleeping together ... (Except we did.)
I'm adorably psychotic. He's in the NBA.
This is not a disaster waiting to happen, at all.
Teardrop Shot is a 100k standalone sports romance.

Laugh, cry, feel, enjoy the journey.
What a heartfelt story.
TEARDROP SHOT is so much more than a sports romance, yes, the main character Reese is a famous Basketball player but there's is so much depth within the plot, so many touching moments and I felt a strong connection to the characters, so it's not just about a sport's star, it's about the man behind the sport star and it's also about the woman he meets who makes this star who was beginning to fade shine brighter.
Two characters who meet and breath new life into each other.
Charlie at first comes across as an odd ball, a little wacky with no mouth filter but behind the verbal dilemmas, she's a young woman hurting, hiding and afraid to start living again.
Charlie is a huge baseball fan so when she is working at a camp and discovers her idol is going to be there she loses it. Charlie is funny, you cant help but laugh at what comes out of her mouth or in her thoughts she is a woman with backbone and a great character.
You could say the stars align when Charlie and Reese first meet, I was swept away with this friends to lovers story.
Charlie and Reese are both grieving the loss of loved ones, not by death but by circumstances, illness, choices others have made, their story is a tear-jerker, a heart-warmer and fan me down hot, a story you won't want to put down.
A completely different kind of read from Tijan and I want more, I loved it all. One of my favourite reads this year.
Charlie and Reese forever ;-)

From New York Times Bestseller, Corinne Michaels, comes a new second chance standalone romance.
I spent twenty years waiting for Trent Hennington to open his eyes and see me. But it was all for nothing. He chose to keep himself guarded and let me walk away, proving that my time and efforts were wasted.
I’m done being invisible.
It’s time to move on.
A single dance sets my new reality into motion, and I welcome it. After all, Cooper Townsend is perfect. He’s kind, sexy, and attentive—everything a girl could want.
I thought I got it right this time.
That my heart could mend, and I would be happy.
Apparently, some things really are just too hard to walk away from.

A SMALL TOWN SOUTHERN ROMANCE WITH SECOND CHANCES
Corinne Michael's has a way of sucking you into the story with her writing, I am really enjoying this authors work and can't wait to read more. Say I'm yours is book three in the Return to me series, I am already itching to read more.
I loved this book but it wasn't without its frustrations, Trent Hennington is the oldest of the Hennington brothers, I haven't read previous books YET and thankfully there weren't any spoilers to deter me from reading the previous books. Trent is the town sheriff and although he has loved the same woman for years, he has never really committed to her. Trent really made the girl he loved work hard at keeping him until finally he lost her.
Grace has loved Trent most of her life, while all her friends are settling down and having kids she is still at a stalemate with the man she loves who doesn't seem to want to go any further and their relationship has been on and off more times than a light switch.
Grace makes a big decision to move on, to look elsewhere for what she wants in life and that is someone to settle down with. Grace moves on and begins to date again and Trent, well, he becomes the prime example of a man who truly knows what he had once he lost it.
In this small town Grace being single again soon gets around quick and it just so happens Trent's friend Cooper is only too willing to take Trent's place.
This isn't a love triangle story and I adored Cooper, he was so swoon-worthy and everything Grace was looking for at that time and although Grace Tries to date Cooper, she just can't let go of her love for Trent.
I really felt for Grace, I found her need to beg Trent at times sad, he loved her but there was just something holding him back.
Angst, jealousy, laughter, secrets, revelations, heartbreak, hotness, love and a swoon-worthy hea, this book has it all.
I listened to this in audio as part of the SECOND CHANCES BOX SET. Next up Drunk Dial by Vi Keeland.

Have you heard the rumor around campus about the locker room?
If you haven't, let me enlighten you: Legend has it if you bring a girl into the sacred after-game domain of the baseball locker room, it will end with a walk down the aisle. One rowdy and naked encounter against the lockers with the girl of your dreams will make her your wife.
Translation: baseball players are stupidly superstitious and believe the locker room has magical powers.
But not all baseball players are superstitious, me included.
So when the girl I've fallen for brushes me off, I start to question if I need to switch my way of thinking. Maybe it's time I finally hand out a coveted invitation to the locker room.
The only question is, will she accept?
Be still my heart. Knox Gentry is all kinds of swoon.
I loved this college/sports romance. I laughed, swooned, adored the characters, got frustrated and felt my heart skip at the hea.
Emory is starting college in a new city after 6 wasted years with a boy who she found cheating on her. She's meek but ballsy, funny but sometimes a little to emotional, Emory has a beautiful soul but carries a whole lot of insecurities and Knox Gentry, rising star in college baseball is just the guy to put her back together.
As soon as Knox see's Emory he has it bad but with Em being hurt before she is more focused on her studies than having a relationship but as Knox perseverance continues how can she resist Knox with all his southern charm and hotness.
The Locker Room is a slow burn romance that is all kinds of sweet but not without its frustrations with the characters, well mainly Emory, I wanted to shake her at times.
It was brilliant, I was getting all kinds of excited for Em and Knox's relationship, I loved their cuteness, the banter, the sexual tension and thought YES! when I thought it was finally going to the next level in their relationship until BAM it turns into a second chance romance.
I loved it, don't get me wrong but it had a plot downer that I struggled to get up from.
Emory and Knox do have a hea that filled me with all kinds of relief and once again I swooned and Knox currently has pride of place on my bbf shelf.
The side characters were also entertaining and added humour, they were great and a close knit group of friends to either Knox or Em, both the girls and his team mates, they are a great addition and I would love more from them too.
Recommended read, humour, all the feels and a hea.

It was supposed to be a game.
I Dare You.
We bought her in 'cause I wanted to play with her.
But plans change and she got caught in the cross fire.
Then I did something far worse. I fell in love with her, but she doesn't know I still have secrets.
Ones that could rip us all apart.
Raised to hunt and kill.
We take what we want without asking.
We've never needed permission before, so I'm not about to start now.
You think you know everything, but we're about to do what we do best and prove you wrong- I Promise You!
I PROMISE YOU is book two in the Dare series, I DARE YOU is the first book and finishes on a cliffhanger. Austin and Cole's story continues in I PROMISE YOU.
I DARE YOU is the ultimate bully romance but as the story progresses Cole begins to fall hard for Austin. Cole is a leader, part of a group of young men who take things into their own hands, they rule the school and pretty much the town.
There's a lot of angst, plotting, revenge, murder, twists and turns and an exciting plot. There are some very adult scenes and sometimes it is hard to believe these are teen/young adults.
Fans of LJ Shen and Tijan will love this series. This book does have a conclusion and a hea but also gives you hints of more to come with other characters and it looks very exciting.

What do you do when the devil has you in his sights?
You show him that you can play his game.
Austin Lowes is new to town. She's running from a mom who hates her to her dad who cares nothing about her. Only a few months and she will be free, or at least, that's what she hopes ... until she meets him.
Cole Reynolds is the devil disguised as a man. He wants her fear, he wants her blood, and he wants her soul.
Just a little game, he says, I dare you.
Will Austin survive him, or will she lose herself and the game?
Secrets are revealed and justice will be served, but at what cost?
Who survives and who doesn't?
Three years ago my father walked away. Away from our MC club, all his responsibilities, and me. We haven’t spoken since the day he handed me the keys to the kingdom.
Shoved them down my throat was more like it.
I hate him, and the new family he’s playing house with. He left his entire life behind for a woman he barely knows. But I’m strong, resilient, and don’t need a damn soul to survive.
At least, that’s what I thought...until she walked into my bar.
Someone is watching me. I can feel it. I wake up in the middle of the night freaked out of my mind, paranoid a stranger is there. My skin prickles every time I leave my house, because I know someone is following me.
I’m afraid. Alone. And there’s only one person left to turn to.
The stepbrother I never met. The man my stepfather speaks so highly about, but never sees. He’s the president of a notorious motorcycle club, and exactly the kind of person I need to protect me.
Little did I know, Ky Parish, freakin’ hates my guts.
Slashes in the Snow is an enemies to lovers, stepbrother romance, romantic suspense (emphasis on romance) with dark elements. Reader discretion is advised.

This was absolutely my kind of read and I loved it.
Not your typical step-brother romance. Kira is currently living alone in her mother's big house and strange things begin to happen, she knows someone has been coming into the house, while she is asleep and when she is out, she also feels like she is being watched, so with her mother and stepfather away she seeks out Ky who she has heard a lot about from her new stepfather and she hopes he can help her.
Ky is the president of an MC since his father abandoned the club for love and he hasn't spoken to his father since.
Ky is stubborn and a typical MC president, he's hard, hot and a whole lot of stubborn.
Ky has a big chip on his shoulder regarding his father and views his father's new relationship as not only the reason for abandoning Ky but the club too, so anyone associated with his father isn't going to get a warm welcome and Kira definitely didn't.
Kira may be the step-sister he has never met but she certainly isn't welcome with open arms. This is were the enemy to lovers trope come's into play.
I loved the angst, the hotness the progress from Ky and Kira's hate relationship to becoming more, the changes in Ky as he began to let Kira in and the added bonus club business and danger in the plot.
This was an all rounder for me, I really enjoyed it, a good girl meets bad boy, I am a big fan of MC reads when written right and this certainly was written well by M Never, the balance was fantastic, I followed with ease and if this was a book I would no doubt have read in one sitting.
I listened to this in audio which was brilliantly narrated by the female narrator but the male narrator is either portraying Ky as a really, really laid back character or he just really has a voice that is monotone with not much feeling and emotion were it should have been, however, this did nor to take away my enjoyment from the story though.
Told in first person dual pov, leads to heartwarming hea. Available in KU and Audio.

“The feeling I have in this very moment, after not seeing her for so long, will haunt me forever, reminding me why I left to begin with.”
For as long as I can remember, Easton Crews has been off-limits. As much as it kills me, that’s never going to change.
After his little disappearing act three years ago, then suddenly showing up out of nowhere, I shouldn't want anything to do with him.
It doesn’t matter how beautiful he still is. Or how close we once were. It shouldn’t matter that my entire body lights on fire with need whenever he gets close.
He chose the worst possible time to leave without so much as a goodbye.
However, just like the first day he walked into our home, I'm drawn to him, needing him near me just as badly as I need air to breathe, and I can't stand it.
I want to hate him. I know I should hate him. But hating him is the last thing he'll let me do.
I push, he pulls harder, until I'm completely wrapped up in him, my mind lost in the one person who is forbidden—the one person I’ve always loved, even when he belonged to someone else.
Easton was never meant to be mine. It took me years to come to terms with that and now that I finally have, he's here, right in front of me, more irresistible than ever.
The part I fear the most about that—he’s the one person capable of completely wrecking my world.
“I’m not leaving until you take all of your hate out on me. Let me feel it. All of it. Every dirty look. Every nasty fucking word. I will have it all before I leave. Stop hiding from me.”
ALL THE ANGST STARS *****
WRECK MY WORLD is a fabulous read which contained everything I love in a romance, including a gripping plot with close childhood to adult friendships, a small town setting, a friends to lovers story and all the angst.
This book gripped me from the very beginning and I rode out the angsty waves with white knuckles. Victoria has a way of creating characters that you can’t help rooting for, even in their weak moments.
WRECK MY WORLD is a best friends to lovers story and a brothers best friend kind of romance but not as straight forward as it seems. The plot goes from past to present on occasion but does not spoil the flow of the story.
Easton and Dakota had been best friends for years, they are like two peas in a pod, Easton is a little bit older than her and is her brothers friend first but when Easton is of dating age and after a lot of persistence from Dakota's older sister he begins to date her, even though he is in love with her younger sister who wasn't old enough yet to date.
Dakota has always loved Easton and it wrecked her that he was dating her sister but she was still really close to him, even closer to him than her brother and her sister who was his girlfriend, but they always remained just as friends.
Easton is one of those guys who is a people pleaser, he started dating because her brother said it was OK so he went along with it, he took her to the school dance because it the right thing to do with your girlfriend but he also told her he was not touching her til marriage, good o'l Easton new she wasn't the girl for him even though people thought differently in their small town.
A tragic accident takes Dakota's sister away and she also loses her best friend when Easton leaves town suddenly too, following the funeral.
3 years after the death of Dakota's sister Easton returns to the small town, feelings haven't changed and he is determined to get his soul mate back, only she hates him for leaving suddenly during her time of grief and then causing her even more pain by leaving without a word.
Dakota is angry and hurt and even though her friends have welcomed him with open arms he has a lot of Dakota's barriers to knock down.
How can Easton make his move when Dakota is still known as her dead girlfriends younger sister? that's another obstacle he needs to get over. Small town, lots of judgmental gossip, there's a heck of a lot of push and pull in this story.
I loved it, loved the characters, loved the hea and the happy sigh I had at the end is always worth any angst along the way.
Told in first person dual pov.

“I knew this was a bad idea. I should’ve pushed you away when I had the chance. I wasn’t thinking clearly. I’m still not.”
“Too late now,” he points out, standing and running his hand through his sweaty hair. “You didn’t.”
I can’t breathe, panic consuming me, because he’s right. I didn’t push him away, and now things will forever be different between us. #friendstolovers#brothersbestfriend #secondchanceromance
