Head down south to Winchester Wild Ranch where the nights are steamy, the cowboys are smokin', and it's always a wild ride.

A heartfelt, second chance, small-town romance from USA Today bestselling author Carmen Jenner.

Twelve years ago, Lemon Winchester traded her cowgirl boots for Manolos and fled Red River Canyon for New York without so much as a glance in her rearview.

When tragedy strikes, Lemon returns to Winchester Wild Ranch, back to the little town she left so many years ago, back to the house that holds too many memories, and back to her overbearing, madcap family.

But not everyone is happy to see her.

Colton Hayes has worked Winchester land since he was old enough to ride a horse. For as long as he can remember, his future only ever involved one person—Lemon Winchester—his best friend’s little sister. But it’s hard to marry the girl next door when she runs off in the middle of the night without so much as a goodbye.

She’s back and he’s bitter.

They once shared a love capable of scalding even the most brutal Texas summer, but the ranch is no longer big enough for them both, especially when those old feelings begin to resurface.

Lemon is every bit as infuriating as the day he fell in love with her, but Colt knows better than anyone that you can’t rope in Winchester wild. That woman will be the death of him … assuming her brothers don’t kill him first.

Best friend’s little sister ✔️
Boy next door ✔️
Second chance ✔️

Heart, heat, and more homegrown country boys than you can poke a stick at ✔️

I do love a romance that has you finishing with a happy sigh and that's exactly what Lemonade and Colton's story did.

It took me a while to get my head around the characters name to be honest and I still didn't like it and couldn't warm to it but I did enjoy the story.

Lemon has been brought up in a small town and is a country farm girl who fell in love with her brother's best friend when she was just seventeen.
Lemon had dreams of going to the big city and that's what she did leaving Colton behind.

Twelve years later following her fathers death Lemon returns home and her first contact is with her ex Colton. It's a frosty reception not just from Colton but from some of her brothers too who didn't agree with the way she took off all those years ago.

A good story about two people who never should have separated in the first place. A second chance romance with no heavy drama's.  I loved Colton who is a swoon-worthy hot sexy cowboy.

I'm looking forward to more in this series Lemon has brothers and that has me excited to know that there may be more sexy cowboys to come.

#1 LIE BY T GEPHART: REVIEW & BUY LINKS

Working in Hollywood meant Jessica Dawson was used to lying. As an assistant to one of the biggest agents in town, biting her tongue and spewing out sugarcoated untruths were an almost daily occurrence. But fabricating alternate realities never spilled into her personal life, until three months ago when she told the biggest lie of all.

While her dear gran lay on her deathbed, Jessica mentioned she’d met her soul mate. It had been Gran’s last wish to see all her grandkids settled down before she went to see Jesus. And as the only one still single, Jessica didn’t have the heart to disappoint her.

No one expected Gran to make a miraculous recovery.

Now, Gran was expecting to meet Jessica’s perfect man at her cousin’s wedding, which meant she needed to find a perfect man fast. Hiring a professional was the only solution.

Enter Dave Larsson, younger brother to one of Hollywood’s elite.

Sexy, funny and just as smoldering hot as his super-famous sibling—he had talent and charm to spare. But most importantly, he was affordable and available.

All she needed to do was haul Dave home, have him meet Gran and the family, then shortly after the wedding, “break up” with him.

It was either that, or admit to her #1 Lie.

Only thing she didn’t plan on was the bigger lie she would need to tell herself when it was time to let him go.

Another T Gephart book that I thoroughly enjoyed

The Lie is funny, steamy has lots of laugh out loud moments and those awkward family moments. Loved it!.

Dave is such a hot laid back kind of guy you can't help but love him as he helps Jessica out of a pickle with her family, by using his acting skills when he becomes her boyfriend for the weekend.

It's not original but it is a fun read that leads to a heartwarming hea.

I listened to this in audio and found the narrating fabulous, the narration really bringing the characters to life and represents them well.

Looking forward to more from the Larsson brothers. After listening to this in audio  I would definitely listen to more in this series or any of the authors other books

When I was seven years old, I met Maddison, the love of my life. And a minute later, I met Oliver who stole my heart and kept it. Forever.

Loving both of them, giving them each a piece of my heart, was easy at that age.

Maddison made me brave, and Oliver kept me safe.

But then we grew up, and loving both of them was wrong. How was I supposed to choose between my best friends? I couldn’t, and worse, I didn’t. And, that was the beginning of the end. It fractured us in ways we couldn’t imagine and pushed one of us to make a choice that would change the course of all of our lives.

But could we all live with the consequences?

Three friends.
Two brothers.
One romance. One love story.

I'm speechless. I'm wrung out..

I hadn't read a book for weeks and the first book I pick up makes me sob then I sobbed and sobbed again.

I'd been thinking about Remy from the book Real today because of a facebook post, what a fab story that was I loved Remy and I never expected to find another gem of a book like that. Another bbf fighter that would win my heart. Although I don't like mentioning another authors work on my reviews, sometimes a reader needs a comparison of the characters or the story, a reader knows what they like. Well, I like to know this anyway, so I know what to look for or what to expect.
I wasn't expecting that or something like that in this book but I did and it was also so much more.

As much as the heart of the character was torn in two by her two childhood best friends, the two brothers and the love she had for both of them, a love that only grew stronger over the years, I'de felt my own being pulled one way then the other too.
I became completely captivated by this story and although my heart broke at one point, when I'd finally put my kindle down all I could think was... what a bloody good story that was.

Rachel De Lune: Bloody hell woman! I'm a mess 😢😭

*No cheating occurs in this book nor is it a menage. Its a childhood to adult love story with three best friends, a pact, and lots of heartfelt moments.

Enjoy the journey.

Arc gratefully received for review purposes
