Once a Disciple, forever a Disciple.

After the death of her father, Ash learned an important lesson: being a Disciple is dangerous. The club her father had loved, the club that had been their family, took him from her. She couldn’t stay and wait for the day it would take the man she loved from her, too. So, she left. Now, she’s the one in danger, and the Disciples are the only ones that can keep her safe. She has no choice but to return to the club and the man she left behind.

A Disciple will fight like a savage for what is his.

Sketch has what he needs: his tattooing, the club, and his bike. Anything else would require a heart, and his was ripped out of his chest a long time ago. It wasn’t coming back. At least, not until she did.

His heart isn’t the only thing Ash brings with her, though. She has a daughter. A daughter old enough to be his. A daughter Ash claims might not be. But in his heart, Sketch knows the truth. That little girl is his… just like her mom.

This biker knows one thing: a Disciple’s daughter’s return is about to make his whole world shift.

Sketch, Ash, and the whole Savage Disciples MC are now free on #KindleUnlimited!

A Disciple’s daughter’s return is about to make his whole world shift.

I loved this one and I m also loving this series, bossy bikers and women with backnbone.
A secret baby, a childhood to adult love story and a second chance romance, all my favourite things wrapped up in an MC read.

A bit about the plot;
When the club receives threats and the safety for one of their own is in jeopardy they all rally together and although Ash left four years ago the threats involve her and revolve around her fathers death too. following her fathers death and putting blame on the club and the life they live Ash left with no intention of ever returning.

Ash had been in love with Gabe who later became Sketch, they had both been childhood friends within the club and in their teenage years became more. Ash struggled in the days following her  fathers death and wanted Gabe to run away with her, Gabe thought he had convinced her to stay until he woke up to find her gone.

That was four years ago.

When Ash returned after being brought back by one of the MC members not only did she have a frosty reception by Sketch but she wasn't alone. Ash had a beautiful little girl called Emmy.

“You don’t own me.” “Maybe not, but I own your heart. I know, because I gave you mine when I took it. You took off with it once and it hurt like hell, there’s no fucking way I’ll go through that again.”

I loved this story, Ash's possessiveness and determination to get Ash back. I enjoyed the ride and looking forward to the next book in the series.

Told in first persons dual pov and leads to a heartwarming hea.

Once a Disciple, forever a Disciple.

Cami was born into the Savage Disciples MC, but she ventured out to build a life of her own away from the club. She’s engaged now, living a new life despite missing the bikers that raised her. Overall, she’s… fine.
Sure, fine. She’s fine with the fiancé who is more interested in position and image than the woman in his life. She’s fine with the fake people around and the suffocating passive aggression. She’s fine with the fact that she is turning to drugs to self-medicate.

A Disciple will fight like a savage for what he wants.

When Gauge tags along to visit his club brother’s daughter, he can’t believe the two women he meets: the fiery daughter of a biker and the puppet with the blank affect. And yet, they’re both Cami.
He sees the fire beneath surface, and he wants to watch it burn. He wants to rip away the man smothering her like a wet blanket. He wants to see the flames consume that cookie-cutter future-wife facade to the ground and dance with her in the flames.

When this biker clutches onto a Disciple’s daughter, there is no letting go.

"He unleashed something wild in me; something I hadn't even known was there".

This is the first book in the series but I have read another book previously. Each book can be read as a standalone. I love the family feel of the club and the characters in this series.

If your looking for a bossy alpha biker and lots of angst then you've found it.

I liked all the characters from the club and the plot had a perfect balance of hotness, club business and angst.

There's no unnecessary violence or sexual acts in this book, I'm mentioning this because sometimes that's what you get in an MC read but the Savage disciples are a family club and have legit businesses, yes there's angst,  yes there's drama and dirty mouthed bikers which I love and Cami  and Clutch have a lot going on to keep you entertained.

Being a bikers daughter Cami is more than capable of holding her own, I liked her sass and she is a good match for Gauge.

A bit about the plot..
When Cami first meets Gauge he's accompanying Cami's father on a visit with his daughter where she lives with her stuck up fiance who tells her what to wear and expects her to go meet with other women in the country club playing the dutiful fiance. Cami went from college girlfriend to being arm candy and controlled.

Cami soon realised after her father and Gauge's visit that she's living a lie, not only does she feel an immediate connection with Gauge but something Gauge says awakens something in her, that she is trying to be someone she isn't.

Cami eventually leaves her fake life and cheating fiance and returns home, immediately the bossy alpha biker claims her and the bumpy road for Cami and Gauge begins.

I enjoyed the angst, some things had me annoyed mainly the actions of the characters or little things like the direction the plot went but all in all a good MC read that I couldn't put down and read in one sitting.

Told in first persons dual pov and leads you to a hea.

BASTARD By J.L Perry: Review & Buy Links

Picture

Picture
The #1 Bestseller. A heartbreakingly beautiful love story by Australia's favourite new romance writer and author of the #1 bestseller Hooker: J.L. Perry.

***FULL LENGTH STANDALONE READ WITH HEA***

Warning - Contains coarse language and sexual content. This book is recommended for 18 years and over.

My name is Carter Reynolds. I was born a bastard and I'll die a bastard. I learnt it at a young age, and nothing and nobody can change that. I'm on a one-way path of destruction, and God help anyone who gets in my way. I hate my life. Actually, I hate pretty much everything.

That's until I meet the kid next door. Indi-freakin'-ana. My dislike for her is instant. From the moment I lay eyes on her, she ignites something within me. She makes me feel things I thought I was incapable of feeling. I don't like it, not one bit. When she looks at me with her big, beautiful, haunting green eyes, it's like she can see into the depths of my soul. It freaks me the hell out. She's like sunshine and rainbows in my world of gloom and doom. I hate sunshine and rainbows.

****

I'm Indiana Montgomery. My friends call me Indi. Despite losing my mum at the age of six, I have a wonderful life and great friends. My dad more than makes up for the fact that I only have one parent. I'm his little girl, the centre of his world. I adore him.

When Carter Reynolds moves in next door, my life takes a turn for the worse. He's gorgeous, sinfully hot, but that's where my compliments end. He seems hell-bent on making my life miserable. He acts tough, but when I look into his eyes I don't see it. I see hurt and pain. To me, he seems lost.

I should hate him for the way he treats me, but surprisingly I don't. If anything, I feel sorry for him. I want to help him find peace. Help him find the light that I know is buried somewhere within his darkness, but he won't have a bar of it.

He's warned me time and time again to stay away, but I can't. I'm drawn to him for some reason. He's always referring to himself as a bastard. That may be true, but to me, he's more like a beautifully misunderstood bastard. Whether he likes it or not, I refuse to give up on him.

Carter and Indiana's story is told in dual POV, and in two parts, spanning over 8 years.

Not what I expected at all.

Carter is a teenager with a mountain of anger inside him and a huge chip on his shoulder.
Indi is the sweet new next door neighbour.

I couldn't understand why such a heartfelt story had a title such as Bastard giving the impression of a book that is the complete opposite of what I read but it all stems from when Carters mom takes him to see his Grandparents, his mothers parents who she herself hasn't seen from the time they threw her out when she was pregnant. The 5 year old Carter excited to see his Grandparents for the first time is shooed away and called a bastard child.

Words hurt and words can change a person's view of life or path in life and that's exactly what it did for Carter, well until he met Indi.

Carter and Indi first meet when Carters mum moves home to move in with her new boyfriend, a boyfriend Carter hates. Carter is rude and insulting to Indi when they first meet and it doesn't stop there his new mission is to get a rise out of his Princess next door.

A love hate relationship develops between them.

Carter, I can't say he is adorable in his teenage years, he's cocky and he definitely has a big chip on his shoulder and living with someone who treats him like scum when his mother isn't around you can't help but feel for him when he already see's little value in himself.
Carter is on count down for his eighteenth birthday when he can leave.

Indi however is sweet she is the daughter of a Police officer and after her mom died of a brain tumour she had only her dad left and they have a beautiful father daughter relationship.

Bastard is a story in two parts, the teen years and then years later when Indi and Carter are reunited. This is an eight year  journey of two people who were meant to be together and you get all their ups and downs, the sad times and happy times, the heartfelt and heartbreaking moments.

"I find myself wishing for a lifetime of moments with her. My heart burns for her. It always has, and it always will".

"She’s my addiction, my air".

Bastard is hot in all the right places with lovable main and extended characters. I laughed shed a tear, swooned and got annoyed, Bastard really is a roller-coaster of emotions.

Bastard is many things in one perfect package, A fr-enemies to lovers romance, A second chance romance, teenage to adulthood love story, A tear jerker and heart-warmer.

I enjoyed Indi and Carters journey that does eventually lead to a hea that makes you smile.
Told in first person dual pov.

A Recommended read by J.L Perry.

When I read that this was an ugly cry read which would normally bother me, I jumped in anyway because I am loving this authors work, each book I read is another Journey.

Playing in the Rain is indeed another journey with the lives of two people but it wasn't just a tearjerker, I was actually left  with snot and tears and felt the whole experience including the heartbreak.

Did I enjoy it though even though I feel heartbroken?
Definitely, YES!. I've found books like this that draw out all the emotions stick with you, and Playing in the rain will definitely stay with me and not just be another book on my shelf.

It's very rare I give a five star to a short read but this wasn't lacking in anything and did actually feel too long or too short, it was perfect.

A bit about the plot;
When Ava Lawton walks out of her job and is stuck in a long line if traffic, it's just another kick to an already horrible day, it's pouring with rain and things cant get any worse but this is when she first sees Cody standing near the park with a dog, the rain isn't bothering him and there's something about him that draws Ava to him.
There eyes meet and Cody runs over to give her a note that reads YOUR BEAUTIFUL.

Ava goes to find her mystery man the next day at the park and from there I was taken on an amazing adventure with Ava and Cody, it was heart warming and then heart breaking.

"Tell me about Cody Richard's what's he really like"?.
"He's just a regular guy"
" You glow, your all glowy"
"I think that's the loco weed talking"
“No, it’s you. That’s what you’re like. You glow and you’re all light. Everyone sees it. You’re like sunshine—with a great ass.”

Such a beautiful love story.

Told in Ava's pov. Available in KU.

"When I was near him I burned."

Please note this is part two in The travelling series duet and The Travelling man is to be read first. And what a journey it was.

Book one finished with the Aimee's uncertainty of  fitting into Kestrel's world and being a part of his life, no more secrets or anything withheld, Aimee wanted all or nothing and Kes is such a stubborn character.
Kestrel was aptly named, he lived to fly, to soar in the spotlight and book two deals with how both Aimee and Kes fight to  make it work with his life in the carnival.
"I was ordinary, and he was extraordinary"

Two worlds colliding.

"Our lives were thousands of miles apart, and our dreams didn't seem to be any closer together either. Something would have to give or rather one if us would have to give"

The Travelling woman was so much more than just two people trying to figure how to make love work, it was a beautiful but also a treacherous journey against the odds.

Once again I laughed, shed a tear, gripped on through the angst and felt my heart melt over and over.

Kes is a fiery character, he's many things, he's Moody, talented, hot, sometimes a jerk, insatiable, an alpha domineering male and you can't help but fall in love with him, and Aimee, it was like she was put on the earth to love him.

I had similar feelings throughout this book similar to those I felt when I read Real by Katy Evans,  Thoughtless by S.C Stephens and Crash by Nicole Williams, all great books and this Duet has joined them on my recommended shelf.

This duet is a roller-coaster ride of emotions that I can't recommend enough. You need to meet Kes, I haven't read a character like him in a while, I'm even willing to share ;-)
I loved him and I hope you will to.

Although I'm sad to let Kes and Aimee go I would definitely read more in this series I also loved the other carnival characters.

Told in Aimee's pov. Leads to a hea. Available in KU.

""With me always?"
"Yes
"Until the world's stops turning."

I was ordinary. Nice. He was extraordinary. And he wasn’t always nice.

Moody and difficult, brilliant and beautiful, Kes scared me and he protected me. He could be incredibly hurtful and incredibly thoughtful. He wasn’t perfect, but he was perfect for me. He challenged me, he took me out of my safe little box and showed me the world could be magnificent. He was everything I wasn’t.

Aimee Anderson is ten when the traveling carnival first comes to her nice little town. She doesn’t expect her world to change so completely. But meeting Kestrel Donohue puts her life on a different path.
Even though she only sees him for the two weeks of the year when he passes through her home town, his friendship is the most important of her life.

As a child’s friendship grows to adult love, the choices become harder, and both Kes and Aimee realize that two weeks a year will never be enough.

Wow! I fell in love with these characters from the beginning and I felt every part of their journey.

Brilliant writing and story from Jane Harvey-Berrick.

Kes and Aimee first meet when they are 10 years old. Kes is a part of the circus that has come into town and Aimee is visiting with her parents.

A friendship blossomed from their first moments together and from there spans on for years.

Aimee lived for the two weeks a year she got to spend with Kes. From the times the posters went up around town about the circus coming to town each year I actually got excited for her.

From childhood to teenage years, Aimee battles against her stuck up narrow minded parent's and distance but they make it work until they become two helpless kids fighting a losing battle.

Eight years later now both adults Kes and Aimee are reunited.

A story in two parts, I loved the innocence of the characters in the first part, the sexual experiments and experiences being each other's firsts, two people's journey to falling in love.

The second part I was gripped by the angst, indesision and uncertainty of where the plot would go.

I do love a childhood to adult romance and although that's exactly what Kes and Aimee had it's so much more.

It's a love against all odds, two worlds either colliding or blending, a love that is destined to be but will heart or head rule?.

It was a rollercoaster of emotions for me, I laughed, felt sad, felt the angst and felt the chemistry.

I wasn't sure if I would like the topic being around travellers and circus, it didn't really appeal to me but having read this book I can tell you it's an epic love story, a journey with two people destined to be together, underlining messages, heartache and heart warming moments.

Told in Aimee's pov and leads you to an ending that makes you want to jump into book two immediately.

Available in KU.

I've already downloaded book two and can't wait to see where Aimee and Kes's journey ends, im both scared and excited.

Emily Michaels lives a life of privilege and prestige. She’s been afforded luxuries that most girls dream about but it’s only attributed to her lonely existence. Due to her disability, Emily doesn’t feel like she belongs in the elusive world she’s grown up in.

That all changes her senior year when she meets Ryder Jameson, the tattooed bad boy who takes her breath away with a simple touch. A boy her parents would never approve of due to his lack of wealth and social status, but that doesn’t stop her from being with him.

Ryder makes her feel beautiful in a way no one else ever has. For the first time in her life, Emily finally feels like she belongs. Until the day her world comes crashing down, destroying the one chance she had at being happy.

FBI agent Ryder Jameson has been given the opportunity to run one of the largest undercover operations of his career. The case that gets tossed in his lap will take him back to the town he swore he would never return to and to the only girl who has ever mattered to him.

Ryder plans to not only bring down the corruption that has poisoned his hometown but he will also take back the one girl who was stolen from him when he was just seventeen years old.

Ryder and Emily come from a world where politics separates them and wealth defines them, but they will not let it divide them.

This is their story.

“You see me, Em, far better than anyone else ever has.

This is one of those books I have had on my kindle a long time so when I found it and read it, it was like discovering hidden treasure. I loved this book, Beautifully Insightful contained everything I love in a book.

Beautiful Insightful started off as a  beautiful love story with Ryder Jameson the boy from the other side of the track and Emily Michael's, a blind girl and daughter of the Senators both falling for each other against the odds.

When Emily's disproving father threatens to ruin  Ryder's friends business, a guy who had taken him under his wing because of his dead beat parents and threats of Emily's well being Ryder had no choice but to leave for college and let Em go.

Emily was devastated that she never heard from Ryder again when he was supposed to meet her and was fed lies by her father.

6 years later Ryder has made something of himself, an FIB agent working on a human trafficking case that takes him back to his home town to the man that threatened him as a teenage boy and to the beautiful blind girl he loved and left behind.

"I never saw you as trash, Ryder. I saw you as a boy who fought against the world because the odds were stacked against him".

A brilliant story that had me enraptured from the first pages and as the story progressed I was even more entranced with the danger and twists and turns.

Fan me down hot in all the right places, has a swoon worthy dominant Alpha male, told in first persons dual pov, leads to a heartwarming hea.
Available in KU.

Ryder's POV

Emily walks Cece to the door. “Thanks for…” She trails off as it opens. “Richard,” she greets in surprise to someone who’s standing on the other side of the door.

Richard? Who the fuck is Richard?

“Emily, are you all right?” I hear a second before some motherfucker walks in and wraps Emily in his arms.

What. The. Fuck!

I shoot up off the couch, my blood boiling hot, wondering who the fuck this asshole is that’s holding my woman.

Cece is the only one who notices my sudden change and smirks. “Actually, I may not have to rush out after all,” she mumbles, amused.

Emily steps back from the prick and shoots a nervous glance my way. “Yes, of course I’m okay. What are you doing here?”

“Joanne just told me what happened. She said you wouldn’t be at work for a little while and I had to see for myself that you were all right,” he replies while intimately running his knuckles down the side of her soft cheek.

My motherfuckin’ cheek!

“Oh, well yes, I…” I cut her off when I yank her back and stand in front of her.

The prick’s head cranes back and his eyes widen in surprise, clearly only now registering that I’m in the room. His gaze narrows as he takes in my possessive stance. “Excuse me, and who are you?”

“I’m the guy that’s going to lay you out if you put your fucking hands on her again.”

Emily gasps. “Ryder, stop it!”

“Bring on the popcorn.” Cece chuckles, finding something fucking amusing.
I watch the asshole’s gaze roam over my tattoos in distaste. “Emily, how do you know this criminal?”

“Criminal? I’ll show you criminal, motherfucker.”

Emily jumps in front of me as I start at him. “Ryder, I mean it, back off! And, Richard, stop the insults. He is not a criminal, he is a friend of mine.”

Friend? Oh I don’t think so. She is not going to play the fucking friend card!

Just as I’m about to explode and lose all control, Cece jumps in and pats the dick on the back. “All right, I’m going to do you a favor here, Richard, and save your life. Come on now, let’s go.” She tries leading him out but he throws her hand off in annoyance.

“I’ll see you at work, Emily. Call me if you need anything,” he grinds out before storming off.

Cece clears her throat. “Well, it’s been entertaining to say the least. I’ll check ya guys later.” She quickly closes the door, leaving me with a really pissed off Emily. Good, because I’m pissed off too.

“What the hell is the matter with you?” she snaps, stomping past me.

I ignore her question and ask one of my own. “I want to know, right fucking now, who that asshole was!”

“He’s a doctor at the rehabilitation clinic I work at.”

“He sure seemed a lot friendlier than a co-worker by the way he was touching you!”

“Not that it’s any of your business, Ryder, but he’s also my ex. We dated for awhile and remained friends.”

That has my rage jacking to a whole new level. It shouldn’t surprise me she has dated, it has been six years, but I don’t like it. Not one fucking bit! Before I can think better of it I let my anger get the best of me, and point my finger at her. “You are not going back to that fucking job when this is over. Got it?”

She gapes at me, aghast. “Excuse me?”

“You heard me. My woman is not working with her ex, Mr. McFucking Touchy!”

“You listen here, Ryder Jameson!” She snaps my full name. “First of all, I am not your woman!”

What? Did she really just fucking say that?

“And secondly, no one, and I mean no one, tells me what I can and can not do! So put your dick back in your pants, and quit trying to piss on me and mark territory that doesn’t belong to you!”

That’s fucking it! She turns to storm out of the room but I’m quicker. Grabbing her around the waist, I spin her around, pick her up and slam her against the wall. Then I stake my fucking claim.

Beautifully Insightful

Perfect.

A hot, sexy and fun read.

I loved the characters, Ellie is likeable and often hilarious, I loved a scene where she escapes the board room through embarrassment and dives down a slide from the seventh floor, her skirt rides up and her legs start sticking and she has to crawl the rest of the way, I was in stitches with that scene.

Mr Perfect is not what I expected at all and Mac is not your typical CEO boss, hot and sexy yes but definitely not typical.

A fun read, I loved it and it was sooo hot!

JA Huss talks about all the other Mr books at the end and how each one will reveal more of the past of each that links them all together so in each you find out more, then the last book a full reveal or redemption finish, im not sure but It sounds intriguing and addictive.

Each Mr Perfect can be read as a standalone and each romance leads to a hea. Told in first person dual pov.

I listened this in audio and it was brilliantly narrated.

This is a great quick festive hot read that I really enjoyed.

Although Night before is only 12 chapters,  the story didn't feel rushed or too short and lead to a heartwarming and hot Epilogue. There was a gradual build up to Penny and Malcolm's relationship and I was completely drawn into the story with the characters.

A bit about the plot
Penny Evergreen loves Christmas and works and The Knight & Knight Enterprises store, Penny is an Elf and loves showing the children and families around the huge wonderland, A full floor with everything magical about Christmas.

Malcom Knight is a work and money driven CEO, hes a workaholic and after a concerned talking too from his sister about following in their fathers footsteps, working too hard resulting in a heart-attack and his death and a last wish from their mother for Malcolm to find his heart he is persuaded to take the afternoon off and show his Nephew around the store's wonderland.

Malcolm is one of those Bosses who sits in his Ivory Tower and does not interact with his employees, however when he see's Penny the Elf he is mesmerised, he wants her and very much wants to interact in some very hot ways.

Malcolm realised he has finally found his girl that will not only change his Christmas but every Christmas after.

Night before contains hotness, heartwarming moments and a great festive love story, told in first person dual pov and is available in KU.

Blaise is a firefifighter who rescues Brianna from her apartment. With no money or family Blaise feels drawn to Brianna already and this just seals the deal and he takes Brianna home with him.

BLOCK PARTY (A Twin Estates Novel) Sylo Fantome: Review & Buy Links

Picture
Things you need for a good Block Party:

1. Awesome food

2. Great Music

3. Fun games

4. A secret spot to hook up with your even-more-secret girlfriend.

Liam Edenhoff is a simple creature. He likes women, tacos, and sex. As long as he has those in his life, everything is good. He's finally realizing maybe he's just not cut out for relationships - surely there's got to be a woman out there who'd be okay with roof top margaritas, casual sex, and no attachments.

Enter a new neighbor - one who is allergic to commitment and prefers her sex casual but frequent. She's seen him at his worst and is still willing to play his games, on three conditions - discretion is a must, casual is key, and absolutely no drama. Sounds like the perfect arrangement. What could go wrong?

Famous last words when dealing with neighbors.

This story contains scenes of a graphic sexual nature, multiple uses of coarse language, and more tacos than is healthy or sane to read about. Reader discretion is advised.

This is the third installment in the Twin Estates series

Picture

Picture
A beautiful compromise.

I loved Liam from the previous book, Liam is a funny guy, easy going, every girls dream, a good friend, sex club owner and definitely not shy in his sexual endeavors, in fact he's a man whore.

Ayumi is the complete opposite of Liam, she's serious, stiff, robotic, has no friends, she's Wulf's right hand woman. Ayumi likes to be in control after years of being controlled by her mother and lives to work.

Blick party is a journey of two opposites attract.

Ayumi does Liam's accounting at the club has done for a while and is always professional but when Ayumi gets Liam out of a situation with one of his recent one night stands who turns stalker, things begin to change.

I loved this story, a gradual change for both characters, Ayumi starts to feel more at ease in her own skin with Liam's influence and Liam always the joker becomes more attentive. Liam goes from man-whore to bbf, I loved his transition.

A road trip as friends with benefits starts to become more and I loved the journey with these two character's.

"The moments when I'm with you, there are no other girls. No one else exists, You're it. You are the moment"

Stylo Fantome is one of the handful of authors who writes third person and I can still follow it with ease when normally my preference is first person dual pov.

If you have read Katya and Wulf's story in the previous books you will be pleased to know they are also in this book along with Tori who is Katya's best friend and the book finishes with a very interesting cliffy for the beginning of her story that's coming next.

Previous books do not necessarily need to be read but would be beneficial to get the bigger picture due to Liam being a big part of the previous books, his history with Katya and his friendship with Wulf especially. The books seem to flow into one Another and with this book finishing with Tori I am assuming the author intended them to be read in order.

Another brilliant addition to The Twin Estates series and I am looking forward to more.

Arc received for review purposes.

UNSUITABLE By Samantha Towle: Review & Buy links

Picture
From New York Times bestselling author, Samantha Towle, comes a new sexy, romantic suspense standalone novel...

Daisy Smith has spent eighteen months of her life paying for a crime she didn’t commit. Now out of prison, she has only one focus—to get back custody of her younger brother, Jesse, who is deep in the foster care system. Desperate to rebuild her life and show the system that she is responsible enough to care for Jesse, she takes on the only job available to her—working as a maid at the Matis Estate.

On day one of her new job, Daisy meets Kastor Matis, the only son of the owners and her new boss. An enigmatic, handsome Greek god of a man, Kas is closed off, cold, and…well, kind of a bastard.

The more time Daisy spends around Kas, she starts to see there might be more to him than just his cold, bastard ways. He may actually have a heart beating in that frozen chest of his.

But Kas has secrets, too. Secrets that he’s determined to keep.

Secrets make Daisy curious.

And you know what curiosity can do…

Picture

Picture
Not what I expected at all, which was a kind of office romance, I was so wrong and was hooked from start to finish.

Daisy May Smith also know as May day by her friend.
A fellon, a victim of a wrongful arrest for a Robbery she didn't commit, set up by her boyfriend and her only crime loving the wrong guy.

Kaster Matis, also known as Kas..
A mystery, the owner of an estate, a broody guy who comes across as Lord of the manor and is rightly nicknamed by Daisy as Kashole.

When Daisy first gets out if prison her sole purpose is to get her brother back who was put into care when she was sent to prison.

Following her release Daisy is offered a job from the probation service as a maid on a private estate which is when she is introduced to Kaster Matis.

Daisy is no pushover and despite her position refuses to let Kashole's Moody ways and icy stares drag her down.

Kas and Daisys relationship is a gradual build with neither if them letting people in easily.

The chemistry is hot and the suspense, mystery, twists and turns surrounding Kas, his past, his present, his secrets, keep you eagerly anticipating the truth to unfold and you are kept guessing while at the same time rooting for Daisy to finally have things go her way.

A plot with mystery, suspense, danger and revenge.

I loved the British dialogue, the characters and the plot was brilliant.

I listened on audio with brilliant narration that brought the characters to life.

Told in first person dual pov, leads to hea.

I was eagerly awaiting book two and the wait was so worth it.

Wicked rules is the continuation of Lo and Maverick's secret relationship, the pressures from family and school, the secrets behind Mavericks Moody ways, it all comes to light and it was so damn good.

"Lo had barreled into my life and turned my world upside down, but I didn't want to play all my cards, not just yet".

Maverick is the star basket ball player, the guy other boys fear or admire, he's an enigma, He's so many things and as the story progressed Mav goes from the cocky guy with a dark side, the a** hole you can't help but love to swoon worthy.
I loved Maverick and Lo's journey.

"She owned me. Every broken fucked up little piece".

Truths are revealed, lies continue, Lo and Maverick struggle to keep up the pretense, other people's expectations the pressures and even blackmail but despite it all even when disheartened and there seems to be no light they face it together for a greater good.

"We were both broken, but together, we were whole"

L.A Cotton yet again had me reading with anticipation, never giving to much away so your imagination can run free and I loved the suspense, mystery, twists and turns and the slow unraveling to how it would all unfold and lead to the anticipated hea.

A brilliant young adult college romance that is so much more than just girl meets boy, it's everything I love in a book and more.

I am looking forward to the next book in the series, I have high hopes of who it will be and will definitely be waiting to see who L.A Cotton introduces us to next.

Wow this anthology is AMAZING!

I have laughed, swooned, felt the angst and omg loved every moment.

Adriana Locke (Cross) not in arc copy

Charleigh Rose (Yard Sale)
I loved Camden the hot tattoo'd snow boarder. A hot and sizzling one night stand that leads to a secret pregnancy until Molly meets Camden again and the heat is back on. I loved the plot. Told in dual pov's and leads to a hea.
I love this authors writing I have read books by Charleigh before and I will definitely read more.

Ella Fox (Out of Formation)
Elena and Colin. I loved these two. A ten year age difference, Elena has had a crush on Colin forever and Colin has wanted Elena but bides his time until the timing is right, wanting Elena to experience the same things he did in college because he knows she is his forever girl. When Colin starts coaching at the same College Elena is at and in her last year with only months to go, he decides the time is now and he's going to get his girl. A sweet romance with hotness in the right places. Told in dual pov, leads to a swoon worthy hea.
I have read one book by Ella fox before and that was a five star, this book has reminded me that I definitely need to read more from this author.

Emma Scott (One Good Man)
A soccer star and a setting in the 1970's. Janey is a reporter a student and when she keeps putting herself in danger trying to get story's about the Vietnam war, her father sends her to Paris to learn Journalism there to keep her safe. Janey meets Adrian when she interviews him for her paper. Janey discovers that Adrian is more than a stereotype football player but a man with ambition and heart. One good man is a heartwarming story. Told in dual pov leads to a hea.
Emma Scott takes you on a journey with her writing I mean full tilt wow!

Kate Stewart (Sweeping the Series)

Oh I loved Ren and Erika's story. A second chance romance starring a baseball player and a PR assistant. Ren is like a man scorned ever since Erika gave up their relationship years earlier for her own reasons and Ren never got the chance to know why. Ren goes to sweet boy on the verge of his career to famous star years later and a man-whore in rebellion, bringing bad press to the teams name and then Erika is hired to work with him on his reputation and the two are reunited. A frosty reunion at first and I loved this second chance romance, the characters and the hea. THIS DID NOT FEEL LIKE A NOVELLA, IT WAS A JOURNEY THAT LEAD TO A HEARTWARMING HEA, I LOVED IT.
I read Drive and wow, I need more from Kate Stewart I loved this and will read more from this author.

Kennedy Ryan (Full Court Press)

Basket ball star and a reporter. Deck and Avery are great characters. Deck does come across as the cocky player he is when he first meets Avery and naturally she shoots him down. Years later the two are reunited, a failed marriage for Deck, a heartbreaking story for Avery, the two have really gone through it since they last saw each other all those years ago but what's still the same is the spark the two had when they met all those years ago. A story of second chances, healing and new beginnings. Told in dual pov's and leads to a well deserved hea.
I haven't read any books by this author and I definitely will, I loved this and Kennedy's writing, hotness in the right places, great characters and story.

L.J. Shen (The End Zone)

This story! Best friends to lovers. I loved Jolie and Sage. Jolie doesn't want more with Sage in fear it will spoil there friendship, a friendship they have had since childhood plus Sage is a manwhore, a jock, a guy with a reputaion, Jolie has seen it all. Sage can't see himself spending the rest of his life with other than his best friend Jolie and asks her to be his fake girl friend for an event and the crafty so and so does it just to get Jolie used to the idea before he makes his move. I loved this story it had heartwarming moments and beautiful words and hotness. also leads to a swoon worthy hea.
"You'r in my blood, in my veins, in my fucking soul. You'r in my heart and my fingertips and on my fucking lips like a prayer. You're fucking everywhere, Jolie Louis. Always have been always will be".
L.J Shen I love this author and gobble up anything she throws out.

Mandi Beck (Sin Bin)
Older guy younger woman, I loved Stella and Jason, this story just wasn't long enough I wanted more. Stella is a soft ball player in college and Jason is a star hockey player mentoring one of the colleges team players on his visit to town. Stella and Jason's story is a one night stand that turns into a pregnancy,  a pregnancy Stella tried to tell the famous hockey player about when she flies to visit him at his apartment months later but she never gets to tell him about with a room full of his team mates, Jason dismisses her, looks at her like a puck bunny for following him to his home.... until they bump into each other again months later and he notices she is heavily pregnant.
I loved this story Jason goes from a hole to swoon worthy guy.
I would definitely read more in this series.
I hadn't read any books by this author and this book has made me hungry for more.

Meghan Quinn (Back in the Game)

A single dad romance. Calder and Rachel's story is witty and fun flirty and sexy. Calder and Rachel first meet in  diner when Calder is playing dress up with his daughter, the famous hockey player dotes on his daughter and has never introduced her to a woman.
Calder and Rachel's story is sweet and hot like a yummy Chinese dish, I loved it.
Another new author for me, I love this anthology for this reason and I can't wait to read more from Meghan.

Rochelle Paige (Slapped Into Love)
A hockey star and a speed skater. Tamara and Ryan first meet on the ice and from there have a one night stand. Ryan can't forget his night with Tamara and wishes he knew more about the girl that rocked his world until fate steps in and he discovers the teams new hire for helping them increase their speed on the ice is Olympic star Tamara Antonov. Slapped into love is a hot fast and speedy read that leads to a swoon worthy hea.
Another new author, I have already added Blythe College to my tbr.

Sara Ney (Switch Hitter)
When twin Amelia is asked to go on a date by her sister Lucy because she double booked, the girl who is the total opposite of her sister, kind and caring and obviously can't say no goes to meet Dash who is a college baseball player. The two hit it off and up to that point Dash or Dante which is his real name wasn't feeling it but there's something different about Lucy now and he likes it, he likes it a lot. Will Amelia come clean?
A great story that I didn't feel delivered a full hea but I would definitely read more, I love the series How to date a douche bag.

Two mechanics. One rivalry.
She’ll prove she’s as good as she says she is.
He’ll prove her place isn’t under the hood.
It’s over it.

“Don’t let the bastards get you down.”
For twenty-six years, I lived by my daddy’s motto. Which is why “Mechanic Wanted” is all it takes for me to apply for the job at the garage we once owned.
And I meet the biggest bastard of them all.
Dexter Ryne. Hotter than Hell in July and a firm believer that my place is on reception, taking phone calls and looking pretty. Not getting dirty under the hood of a car.
Determined to prove each other wrong, we make a deal.
I have three weeks to prove my worth as a mechanic. If I don’t, I’m on telephone duty.

If I do, he’ll accept defeat and make my job permanent.
Now, all I have to do is fight my attraction to the cocky little… beep.
Problem is, an engine isn’t the only thing he knows how to make purr…

MISS MECHANIC, a standalone romantic comedy from New York Times bestseller, Emma Hart.

Picture

Picture
She nailed it with miss fix it and Emma Hart does it again with a finely tuned miss mechanic.

There are enough slick come backs in this enemies to lovers Rom com to keep anyone's reading motor running.

When Dex and Jamie first meet there's a slow build up of angsty sarcastic foreplay and it was great.

This gender blend anything you can do I can do better Rom com is filled with witty come backs and anticipation.

Jamie is a mechanic, her father is a mechanic but when they have no choice but to sell their garage due to financial difficulty Jamie finds herself out of a job.

The new owners are looking for a mechanic and so Jamie applies.

Dex wasn't expecting a woman when he first meets Jamie and you could say his sexist remarks and reaction doesn't go down well.

A three week trial is sarcastically negotiated and the battle of the spanners is on.

“The only time you will ever get me over a hood of a car is if a wiper blade needs changing. So, unless you’re a wiper blade...”

Miss mechanic is fun, Jamie is smart mouthed, sassy and the build up to a somewhat treaty is hot.

Everything you would expect to find in a Rom com is in miss mechanic, Witt, hotness, hilarious family moments. Emma Hart does Rom-com justice and you are guaranteed from starting any of her books to com-bust with a laugh or two along the way.

A hot quick read by Aria Cole.

Like a lot of Aria Cole books Under Siege is quick and hot, contains insta lust, an alpha male cave man and a super fast track to a hea.

Under siege is about Ash who is in the armed forces and Tinsley who have both been writing to each other for three years and have never met.

And when they do meet hold on because it's a scorching hot whirlwind of a ride to the hea.

I like these books there great for when you just want a quick read and haven't got the time or maybe the patience to get into a story thats too in depth. If you have read Aria Cole before or the likes of Alexa Riley you know exactly what to expect with their sizzling novellas.

BEHIND BARS By Brittainy C. Cherry: Review & Buy Links

When I first met Jasmine Greene, she came in as raindrops.

I was the awkward musician, and she was the high school queen.
The only things we had in common were our music and our loneliness.

Something in her eyes told me her smile wasn’t always the truth.
Something in her voice gave me a hope I always wished to find.
And in a flash, she was gone.

Years later, she was standing in front of me on a street in New Orleans.
She was different, but so was I. Life made us colder. Harder. Isolated.

Caged.

Even though we were different, the broken pieces of me recognized the sadness in her.
Now she was back, and I wouldn’t make the mistake of letting her go again.

When I first met Jasmine Greene, she came in as raindrops.
When we met again, I became her darkest storm

You're the music in a mute world, and my heart beats because your here.

Another captivating story by Brittainy C Cherry, an author who doesent just tell a story's but takes you on an emotional journey with all the feels.

Elliott and Jasmine's journey starts in high school.

Eli is the victim of bully's in school but also a beautiful saxophone player. Elliott's journey is such a roller-coaster and also heart breaking.

Jasmine has been home schooled for a long time, has a controlling mother who is trying to live her life through her daughter, pushing her to stardom, dance lessons, singing lessons and endless auditions. Jasmine's mother is cold and cruel but one thing you realise about Jasmine and that's she's strong and a beautiful person despite how she's treated.

Both characters have beautiful souls they are so right for each other but Elliott gets lost along the way and this is a powerful story that emphasises on how music, love and family can bring healing.

Both characters first meet in school, Jasmine witnesses all the bullying Elliott goes through daily and in her own way tries to help him.

Behind bars is like a story in two parts there's the younger Jasmine and Elliott, the growing pains, the hardships, the lessons and the start of a beautiful friendship, then there's the years later after being separated and they are reunited again when Jasmine escapes her mother who had taken her to England years before in search of stardom leaving her best friend behind.
Both era's are heart warming and heart breaking in their own ways.

Jasmine and Elliott's friendship strengthened through the love of music and that same love brings them healing in their later years.

There are tears, heartfelt family moments, laughter, sadness and times you will swoon, I loved every moment of my journey through these characters.

Brittainy C Cherry does it again and with each book I read by her I'm left even more in awe of this authors writing.

WE BECAME OUR OWN SONG.

SPOILERS FOR FULL TILT....

Reeling from her loss, Kacey Dawson is grieving and heartbroken, her addictive demons hauling her back into the alcohol-soaked abyss she worked so hard to crawl out of. Kacey teeters on the edge of oblivion, and must fight her way through the pain, to build a new life for herself with her music, and somehow fulfill the promise she made to Jonah…one she feels is impossible to keep.

Theo Fletcher has a secret burning in his heart, one that he holds close, while he struggles to keep strong for his family that is falling apart. His mother’s health is fragile and his father’s disapproval is breaking him down. Theo is afraid if he follows his heart, he’ll fail, and not just himself, but his brother who believed in him when no one else did.

Drawn together by their pain, Theo and Kacey slowly build a friendship, re-forge old ties, help each other to heal, and give one another the courage to reach for their dreams. Together, from the depths of grief and guilt, they learn to laugh again, to trust again, and quite possibly find something beautiful and lasting amid the shattered pieces of their broken hearts.

PLEASE NOTE, this novel is NOT a standalone. It is highly recommended one read Full Tilt first to get the entire arc of the story and to avoid spoilers.

I needed this book like air.

When I finished book one I had to go straight to book 2, just knowing there was more and a happily ever after to chase had me jumping straight in.

Finishing book one I was heartbroken. The words were beautiful, the story was beautiful even pondering on what Jonah had done with his glass blowing making all those works of art breathing into them so he left a legacy, so he lived on I cannot think of the words to describe those moments in that story and Emma Scott wrote about these characters without getting the wobbly lip, seriously this is amazing.

Book two is Kacey and Theo after Jonah's death, how life goes on and how they keep to the dying promises Jonah asked of them with his final words.

The whole duet is nothing short of amazing, an amazing journey of love, healing, hopes, dreams and happily ever afters.

I'm not a reader who normally jumps to a book once I know it's a tear-jerkier but if I had let that put me off as I stated in my review of Full Tilt then I would of robbed myself on an amazing and powerful love story.

I recommend it especially on a lazy day where you can lock your self away and absorbe.

Told In first persons dual pov's and leads to a hea.

"I would love you forever, if I only had the chance..."

Kacey Dawson has always lived life on the edge--impulsively, sometimes recklessly. And now, as lead guitarist for a hot up-and-coming band, she is poised at the brink of fame and fortune. But she is torn between wanting to be a serious musician, and the demons that lure her down the glittering, but alcohol-soaked path of rock stardom. A wrecked concert in Las Vegas threatens to ruin her career entirely. She wakes up with the hangover from hell and no memory of the night before, or how she ended up on her limo driver’s couch...

Jonah Fletcher is running out of time. He knows his situation is hopeless, and he's vowed to make the most of the handful of months he has left to him. His plans include seeing the opening of his glass installation at a prestigious art gallery…they do not include falling in love with a wild, tempestuous rock musician who wound up passed out on his couch.

Jonah sees that Kacey is on a path to self-destruction. He lets her crash with him for a few days to dry out and get her head on straight. But neither of them expected the deep connection they felt, or how that connection could grow so fast from friendship into something more. Something deep and pure and life-changing…something as fragile as glass, that they both know will shatter in the end no matter how hard they try to hold on to it.

Full Tilt is a story about what it means to love with your whole heart, to sacrifice, to experience terrible grief and soaring joy. To live life with all its beauty, and all its pain, and in the end to be able to smile through tears and know you wouldn’t have changed a thing.

MOMENTS....

Amazing, I have no words and if they do form, i'le just start crying again.

A beautiful story. A story of many moment's.
Finding selfless love, dying wishes, happiness, legacy's and lots of heartfelt moments.

This is one of those journeys were you can feel the inevitable coming and when you reach the end don't want to let go.

I don't love tear jerkers but if I hadn't read this for that reason and I knew going in it was sad, I would of robbed myself of experiencing a beautiful love story.

So many beautiful heartfelt words and brilliant elequant writing from Emma Scott.

Available in KU. Told in first person dual pov's and a hea in the saddest of ways.

"We may not have months or years but we have moments. Thousand upon thousands if them"

From New York Times best-selling author Samantha Towle comes a sexy and laugh-out-loud stand-alone romance…

Vaughn West is at the height of his acting career. He’s the it man of Hollywood—until the ultimate betrayal sends him into a downward spiral of alcohol-infused days, ending with a different woman in his bed every night. His only way out of the funk is accepting a new movie deal with the hottest director in Hollywood.

Charlotte Michaels is a designer-brands girl on a thrift-store budget until she lands the mother of all jobs as Vaughn West’s wardrobe assistant on his latest movie.

Only their first meeting doesn’t go as planned, and now, Vaughn is acting like a jerk.

So, why do their clothes seem to keep falling off whenever they’re around each other? And why can’t Charly seem to keep her mind in the closet and off Vaughn?

Things are about to get hot, dirty, and messy in Hollywood. Especially if Charly’s closely guarded secret falls out of her closet.

What's Not to love about this.

Sexy actor in the prime of his career, recently cheated on by his girlfriend with his co- star actor and best friend, that right there had me cheering in Vaughn's corner from the beginning hoping he finds real love.

And then there's Charlie, Vaughn's newly appointed wardrobe assistant in his new film, a woman with a sad back story but a sassy take no crap kind of girl.

Two great characters that were destined to be together despite their awkward or should I say painful first meet that lead to Charlie sticking a pin somewhere very private.

I laughed often, I swooned, the two of them were like rabbits so the hotness was also there too.

Wardrobe malfunction is a great light- hearted recommended rom-com.

Told in first person dual pov leading to hea.

I purchased in KU then listened in audible, loved the dual male & female narration.
