I really liked these characters, I love this series and the Ravage's who are a family-focused MC. Dark content due to Carysyn's past and present. Carysyn went to school with Nox and they were both each other's high school crush which never went any further than that. They meet each other again years later when Nox attends a meeting with the rival MC. Carysyn lost her mother and stepfather and at the age of 15 and went to live with her stepbrother who treats her like a whore, beats her and uses her for whatever he sees fit. Both Nox and Carysyn recognise each other and when Nox witnesses how Carysyn is being treated he wants to try and find a way to help her without her stepbrother finding out. "I want to see the fire back in her. To see her burn. To see her realize that she can do so much better than this life" Carasyn's story is a fairy tale kind of read, princess Carysn is rescued by her hero in leather and the bad stepbrother gets what is coming to him.
