But, the demons of the past don’t care about rules and promises. As Elijah and Faith try to carve a life for themselves, deep secrets long buried will come to challenge them one final time. Old friendships will break her heart as her past and present clash with tragic results.
While Faith faces the memories of her shattered childhood and the Faircloughs play games with her future. Will she be strong enough to stand firm and not run?
When her ultimate challenge arrives Faith will need to decide what sort of woman she wants to be. Will she remember the promises made with gold before her tears run free forever.
What an amazing journey and trilogy from Anna Bloom
"You're my ray of golden sun." "Covered in ink" "Decorated in art"
Please note that this book cannot be read as a standalone, this is the final book in Faith and Elijah's story but not the last in the series.
When I first started reading about Faith from the very first book Tears of Ink, I ever expected the young college girl who hid behind her Ink to become the amazing strong woman I read about in Tears of Gold.
Faith was victim of sexual abuse from her stepbrother for years, after leaving home she found her escape in one night stands and in her art work, she was a loner, an introvert. Today Faith is a woman facing her past to embrace her future with Eli.
A beautiful story of growth, standing up for ones self and fighting for what you want. This young woman with tattoos not only embraced a different way of life but also did't allow it to mould her. There were changed in Eli too, he was no longer going along with his Grandmothers demands, the British aristocracy way of life but making his own choices.
I liked both characters and I felt connected not only with them but with other characters who were a part of Eli and Faith's journey and I am looking forward to more in this series.
Ana Blooms writing puts you at ease, I followed this trilogy with ease and enjoyed her way of writing, there was angst and drama in all the right places along with hotness and happiness, a brilliant balance in a romance read.
Told In first person dual pov and leads to a hea. Contains talk of abuse but does not go into graphic details.

Final book in The Southern Heroes Series!
I don’t play games. If I see something I want, I go for it.
After my late wife passed away, I haven’t been attracted to another woman. That’s until I come face to face with Chloe Jordaan with her sassy mouth and larger than life personality.
She’s the complete opposite of me.
I’m not afraid to commit, where Chloe’s the epitome of ‘Bad Girl.’ I’m rational and serious, where Chloe’s carefree and fun.
She keeps reminding me we’re only friends with benefits, but I can’t stop myself from wanting to make her mine.
She’s everything I shouldn’t want but turns out to be exactly what I need.
Will the South African Bad Girl ever fall for the American Alpha Hero?
Alas, the last book in the series. A series I have really enjoyed reading. At times I have loved the closeness of the characters, the family feel and enjoyed seeing each of these characters find love.
All stories have had their own spin on things and We were lost touched on grief and the issues the characters were facing through their loss.
This is Zac and Chloe's story. Zac has always been in the background in this series, he works in the precinct like some of the other characters, so yes he's another hottie in a uniform.
Zac is still grieving over his wife who was shot years ago, he hasn't moved on, doesn't feel the need to move on, he is still very much in love with his wife until the sassy Chloe arrives from South Africa. Chloe is the best friend of Emma from book 1 in this series, she is the best friend that helped Emma escape all those years ago and ow with the loss of her mother she decides to go over to the States to see her friend.
This was a good story about starting over taking chances for both characters.
I still didn't' feel fully convinced Zac began to love Chloe as much as his deceased wife, I hope she won't ever feel second best, I would have liked more from Zac in the latter part of the book to prove me wrong but overall it was a touching story.
Told in first person dual pov. Can be read as a standalone. Available in KU.
Stuck in a dead-end relationship, Erica Bennett finds herself daydreaming of her first holiday romance. She was fifteen, it was exciting, new and full of possibilities…and Jack Lawson was hot as hell. That kind of thing leaves a mark.
So when her friends suggest a girls holiday to Luna Island, it’s exactly what she needs to take her mind off things. What she doesn’t expect is to spot Jack – a much older, hotter version of him – across the hotel lobby.
Their attraction is still there and it isn’t long before sparks fly, but fifteen years is a long time. They aren’t the same people they were back then and besides, it’s only a week, right?
Is it a second chance at something real or will their excess baggage ruin their shot at love after they leave Luna Island?
AVAILABLE IN KU AND AUDIO
An enjoyable, fun second chance romance.
I listened to this in audio. Brilliantly narrated.
I loved the whole girls on holiday, getting away, letting their hair down kind of story with girly times, laughter, humour, flirting, sassy & witty British character's, which gave it a Bridget Jones kind of feel. Throw in a group of boys and Erica meeting her first love from a holiday way back when she was a teenager at just fifteen and this girly holiday turns into a sexy second chance romance.
Fun read with plenty of giggles.
Told in first person dual pov. leads to a hea with a surprise I didn't see coming so I also felt it was a little bit of a rushed ending but overall I liked it.
It started as a simple search for a landscape designer…
I wanted a beautiful backyard for my new home and my neighbors suggested I look into Ward Landscaping & Design.
The owner had no pictures of himself on his website, just a portfolio of nice outdoor sitting areas, pools, and vibrant gardens that I’d always dreamed of having.
Of course I hired him.
I expected to meet an average guy, but Mr. Marcel Ward is far from your average man. He’s handsome, and well-built, and his smile—though a rare trait—is truly infectious.
He’s every woman’s dream—a handsome, older man who doesn’t mind getting down and dirty to create something beautiful all because of his passion for it. Unfortunately, that lucky woman can’t be me.
Although Mr. Ward tests my limits, quickens my breath, and makes my heart skip a beat when he’s around, I’ve promised to devote myself to my husband.
So why am I falling for a man I know I can’t have?

Well if you haven't guessed it from the blurb, let me tell you plainly CHEATER ALERT! yes if you don't like cheating in your books back off and run now.
Omg, the angst, I got to 87% and it was like waiting for a car crash to happen.
Gabby is a new bride, a trophy wife of a wealthy young man who she has been with for two years and has only been married a few weeks. Her husband moves her away from home following the wedding, from her family and friends, buys a nice shiny new house and just keeps the shiny new objects coming and Gabby is living in wedded bliss until she hires a landscaper for her garden and that something she keeps feeling is missing, well, it turns up in the form of Marcel, a straight talking, dirty talking, hottie landscaper with a heartbreaking backstory.
The author did a great job of letting you feel a connection to these characters and as the story progresses more is revealed about Gabby's husband too, so you start to sway towards the idea of Gabby being with someone she deserves. The more the story progresses she begins to listen to her old friend, to Marcel's observations about her new husband, the things she has been blinded by, like his possessiveness and his lack of respect for her and the more people who are honest with her, her blinkers begin to come away especially with Marcel saying what he see's, hes a man who really calls a spade a spade, pardon the pun and Gabby begins so see these things too.
Gabby can't deny her strong attraction towards Marcel, this is a slow burn until finally the sparks fly and their chemistry is steaming hot but Gabby's husband Kyle isn't stupid, he's devious and I was cringing near the end knowing the time was coming were he would find out about their affair at some point, despite Kyle never being home, Gabby begin to change, he would notice differences in her.
This author is brave, I loved reading something different, it was what it was, a bored housewife always at home on her own who becomes attracted to someone who makes her feel wanted, attractive.
He is so perfect- everything I've always wanted in a man. Too bad he can never be mine.
"You're everything I never knew I wanted" He shudders a breath, pressing his forehead to mine. Our eyes connect. "It's just my luck that the woman I really want is already taken by someone else."
This is my first book by this author and I would definitely read more, I am certainly looking forward to the next book.
THE MAN I CAN'T HAVE ends on a cliffhanger, is told in first person dual pov and is full of angst, hotness and suspense.

I swooned so hard at the end.
Boyfriend Bargain is college romance focused around Zach, AKA 'Z' Morgan and Sugar Ryan.
Z is the hot-shot sports Hockey star that every girl wants, he's cocky, confident but has his demons that he keeps to himself, Z also has the persona of a man-whore, keeping girls around for no longer than necessary, there is even a rumor of a girlfriend of the month club that each girl wants in on. Z has already been drafted into the NHL but wanted to stay on at college to finish, so he's a sought after guy with a promising future in the hockey world.
Sugar has quite a sad history, a daughter of a single mother who died and had to leave her home to live with her mothers best friend, Sugar wants to go to law school and is a hard worker with a high IQ however she keeps getting reject letters and discovers the Law school she wants to go to has a Dean who is a huge fan of Zach Morgan so she comes together with a plan, a proposition to help her get her acceptance letter and that is to be the girlfriend of the Hockey superstar. But how does a quiet, none party going girl get close to someone who is always surrounded by girls?
This really was an interesting story, there is a lot more to these two characters and the plot than just a fake boyfriend trope, Z isn't the man-whore or the player off the ice he perceives to be and behind the mask is a young man suffering with anxiety.
I laughed, I swooned, I was captivated with the characters and the plot that held my interest throughout. I loved how the whole story progressed and couldn't get enough. Boyfriend Bargain is so much more than I expected and contained everything I love in a romance read, including a good story, interesting characters, and hotness.
Told in first person dual pov, does not contain cheating or any Major angst. Leads to a hea and is a standalone.
Definitely a one click buy.

A genius, an underachiever.
I’m the song, the voice, the passion, the pain.
I am failure.
I do music because it’s what I am, but sometimes that’s not enough.
A slave to my nature, I wait for it to show mercy and drop a gift in my lap.
Because the music chose me.
I’m its victim not its gift.
She destroyed my career.
Ruined my life.
Pushed me from the shadows and exposed my lies.
She’s the fire that destroys lesser men,
and now her flames are aimed at me.
She loves to watch me burn,

I wasn't expecting that!
I have read so many Rock-star romances but this is set apart. when I think back on some of the words, some of the Lyrics that went around and around in Jesse's head, its poetic, its Brilliance, Its damn good writing!.
Jesse is a tortured soul, an addict, an escape artist from real life running to the use of pills, drugs he believes Will temporarily set him free from the anguish of his past, from his fears, from his thoughts and triggers, he runs to escape the thoughts he can't control.
Mila is a blogger who enters his life, not i a good way at first she is an influential blogger with famous parents and her review does damage, it shoots Jesse and his band from the top right to rock bottom.
LIMELIGHT is an emotional and heartbreaking story, I was moved many times, perplexed many times for Jesse, I laughed, had tears in my eyes, I was on a complete and utter roller-coaster with this book, with these characters and I loved every raw minute of it. An enemies to lovers story that is unique.
This is Jesse's story from his dark childhood, to his fame to hitting rock bottom and climbing back up with the help of the new light in his life... Mila
I listened to this in audio and boy did it bring it to life, Zachary Webber is an amazing narrator with a sultry voice, I love any book he narrates, haven't been disappointed yet, however, he is not so good at the female pov or a British accent but I soon got used to it, Jesse would be in his head one minute, then out, talking out loud and Zachary did a brilliant job of putting this across. I think a female narrator for Mila's parts would have been far more effective though.
LIMELIGHT can be read as a standalone, this is my first book by Alyson Santos and there were no spoilers or anything that left me feeling like I should have read previous books but I will definitely be reading more from this author. LIMELIGHT Leads to HEA
Although Limelight touches on drug use it does not go into heavy details and rather focuses on the characters emotions and thought.

As Darby Dixon sits in a tiny Texas church bathroom on her wedding day holding a positive pregnancy test, she realizes that of all the bad decisions she's made in her life, marrying her abusive fiancé would be the worst. She's never been able to stand up for herself, but she'll sure as hell stand up for her baby. With just the cash she has on hand, she runs to get a bus ticket to the farthest place she can afford. Between her sheer grit and pageant-queen smile, she lands a job as a front desk clerk at the Colorado Springs Hotel. It's not a glamorous life, but she and her baby are all that matters.
A former Marine, Scott "Trex" Trexler has worked in the most dangerous, corrupt, war-torn places on earth. Now he finally has a chance to return to the last place he'd felt at peace--Colorado Springs, Colorado, to take a new job with the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, a top-secret military installation buried deep within the granite.
The moment Trex walks into the inn, Darby knows he's dangerous. There's no way she wants to get involved with another man who seems to be keeping way too many secrets. As charming and devastatingly gorgeous as Trex is, he clearly isn't telling her everything. But as wildfires rage on the mountain and Darby's ex-fiancé shows he isn't so willing to let her go, both she and Trex are soon to find out that what you don't know absolutely can hurt you.
A RUNAWAY BRIDE AD A SWOON-WORTHY SAVIOR
From here to you is an interesting story with a run away bride and a Guy who has waited his whole life for the one and finally he finds her.
I have mixed feelings for this book, the blurb tells you way to much about what is going to happen in the plot so there are no surprises there.
Darby flees her abusive husband to be with the help from a friend and settles into a hotel were she begins to work on reception and is taken under the wing of her boss and hotel owner who also gives her room and board.
Trex is ex military and is starting a new job at the facility up in the mountains in a top secret position.
Darby's ex is military so she has sworn off men in uniform, even all the fire fighters known as the hot holes that are in town and hit on her don't even turn her head but Trex has been waiting for a certain woman all his life claiming when he see's her he will know and that someone is Darby.
A slow burn at first Trex has to work for Darby's affection and trust but he is persistent. Trex becomes Darby's new savoir, her comfort when she has fears about being a mother or if her ex will find her, Trex is the perfect kind of guy and Darby is lucky to find him but there is still a lot of push and pull at times due to Darby's insecurity's.
There are characters from previous books in this story, Taylor and Tylor Maddox who are firefighters/hot holes, staying at the same hotel as Trex and I thought there was a little two much of them, it had me confused because I haven't read their stories, I don't know what has gone on with them or what has happened in their lives or what the connection was with Trex so I would say this book could be read as a standalone but reading previous books would be helpful, many times I just felt like I was missing something or questioning if I had missed something but only when there were other characters in the scene and I was trying to connect the dots.
In summary FROM HERE TO YOU is a story or new beginnings, finding your one true love, it has a burst of excitement at the end with some angst and danger but overall it was slow going but a swoon worthy story.
This is the first book in a new series obviously a crossover from Jamie McGuire's previous series told in first person dual pov and I would read more in this series now I have read the first one as long as it has more action and angst.
Another enjoyable read by Louise Bay.
Likable characters, hot moments and a swoon worthy ending.
Everything I like in my romance reads.
When I first started reading this book, I just kept thinking it had the same feel and reminded me of another book I had read before, after going through books I had already read I discovered it was Hopefull by Louise Bay, similar story-line, different characters.
Play boy hero and a insecure heroine, afraid to trust and let herself fall in love with her friend through fear of being just another notch on the bedpost.
Noah had been in America for a few years and Truly hadn't heard or seen him since he left, of course during his time away he had endless women and returned a billionaire so he was now also a successful and sought after bachelor.
Truly had always had a crush on Noah since they had met at a wedding, they had been friends before he left and they both had mutual connections so it was inevitable when he returned she would see him again.
I enjoyed Truly and Noah's story, I love it when a playboy finally opens his eyes and begins to see there's more than one night stands and discovers his future right under his nose and Truly with his coaching gained more confidence in herself and courage to take her pregnant sisters place for their business. What started off as one friend helping another, became more.
International Player has great characters, it's a good friends to lovers story with an interesting and captivating plot.
No cheating, angst or major dramas this is a Sunday read you can curl up with and enjoy.

It was lyrics at first sight when I saw Violet Rhodes across that crowded party. She was lights and darks, swirled together. Music in motion. And all of it while looking like a hitwoman at an Elvis convention.
I had nothing to offer the intriguing girl but a one-night stand. I figured I’d revel in my last night of anonymity before my first tour and shoot her a quick “We’ll always have L.A.!” goodbye the next morning.
But nothing went according to plan.
In one night, Violet crawled under my skin and into my bloodstream. She tattooed her name across my chest and between my legs. She became my muse. And then she was gone.
Now, months later, here she is again. And in a twist I never saw coming, it turns out Violet is ultra-violet radiation. Beautiful, ethereal light bringing with her the promise of damage and destruction.
My brain tells me to walk away from this girl, but my heart can’t stop feeling like she might be one of a kind . . . the sort of girl who comes along once in a violet moon.

Another Amaze-balls read from Lauren Rowe.
I have been looking forward to Dax's story so much, the baby of the family, the talented musician, in each of the Morgan brothers books you get a glimpse of little Daxy and and I couldn't wait for his rock-star journey. I'm probably showig my age younger girls will swoooon so much over Dax, I just loved him to bits like a mom, I feel so connected to this family.
These Morgan brothers really are BBf's and Dax was no different, he's such a sweetie, he's funny, cool, laid back and holds so many family values, mamma Lou did good with all her children.
Rockstar can be read as a standalone, but honestly, I am so glad I have read all these books in order, understood each of the family members especially when they all get together as they do get together a few times in this book, you have a better idea of the personality of each of them and the who is who, and the Morgans are so big on family gatherings, family is the centre of their world, so to just read one out of this series, hmmm, I think you would be totally missing out on what has happened leading up to the little Morgan brother in the family finally finding his own passion and the love of his life like his sister and brothers did before him.
Lauren's writing is brilliant, the flow is fantastic and the balance is great, it was hot in all the right places had drama were drama was needed, I just cant fault it and I loved Dax and Violet's story. Don't get me wrong though, I got frustrated, I wasn't totally breezing through this book clutching my heart with stars in my eyes, Violet could be a little whiny at times, she was very insecure which lead her to make some daft decisions that also made me roll my eyes and got me annoyed and I really don't like that in a woman, in books anyway were they show a lack of backbone but apart from that I liked her character, she was a perfect match for Daxy.
Rockstar shattered my expectations and went beyond what I was expecting, I loved it.
I can't wait for what Lauren writes next and will be stalking like mad.

The new DARK ROMANCE novel from Callie Hart!
There’s nothing that the students of Raleigh High can do to Silver Parisi anymore. Over the past year, she’s had to endure more pain and suffering than most people are asked to bear in their lifetimes. She’s a pariah, an outcast, a ghost. She’s also never been one to take shit lying down, though…despite what half the football team might say.
With only one hundred and sixty-eight days left of the school year, it won’t be long until graduation, and Silver’s planning on skipping town and leaving Raleigh firmly in her rear-view mirror…
Until he comes along…
Alex Moretti’s earned most of his labels, and he’s not shamed of a single one of them. He’ll earn far worse before he’s finished with his new found ‘friends’ at Raleigh High. Having spent years being ground down under the boot heel of society, it’s time for a little payback. And if exacting a revenge upon the heads of the Raleigh elite means he can also help the beautiful girl who hovers in the shadows, then that’s all for the better.
Oil and water. Fire and ice. The differences between Silver and Alex are broader than any chasm. To reach one another, they must take a leap of faith and fall into the divide.
Nothing good ever came from falling.

A college romance that packs a heavy punch to the emotions.
The Rebel of Raleigh High is gripping, has elements of dark, it's intense and I just couldn't stop turning the pages.
The beginning of The Rebel of Raleigh High immediately caught my attention and I could't wait to find out more about Alex Moretti and the reasoning behind his actions in the first few pages of this book, he comes across as mad, bonkers, a bad-boy and a rebel and I had to know more..
Silver Parisi used the be the "It girl" of Raleigh high until one night changed her life, her friends who were at the top of the high school chain disowned her and she was no longer the girl in the limelight anymore. Silver's aim following the incident was just to finish High school with her chin up and to get her grades. Silver was now a girl who sat in the back of class, in the shadows but she was a survivor and a 17 year old girl with backbone who was determined to just finish school, even if it was alone and without her turncoat friends.
Alex Moretti is an orphan, a bad boy, a rebel and he is brought to Raleigh High by his social worker with an ultimatum, a new school or prison for what he had just been caught in the act doing, he had only one choice and that was to change schools and turn over a new leaf if he ever wanted to get his little brother back.
Alex and Silver are both mature characters who have had to take on the roles of adults before their time, so even though this is a high school romance, the characters felt a lot older at times.
There is so much to this book, Alex's backstory, Silver's backstory as well as lots going on in the present.
On the romance side of things in Alex and Silvers story, Alex and Silver have immediate chemistry, two outcasts with a kindred spirit, they were so meant to find one-another and although Silver pushes him away again and again because she doesn't want to bring any attention to herself, especially with the bad boy vibe Alex gives off, something all the girls are pining for, Silver tries to deter Alex, if she lets him in she would also have to trust someone again, so she continues to push, but Alex can't deny the pull toward her and he just keeps on going and going until she relents, until she gives in to her feelings too.
A high-school romance, a story containing hate, jealousy, spite, loss, grief, revenge, forgiveness, starting over, new beginnings and trust. This isn't a high school romance with it's high school childlike dramas, this story is intense and has some gruesome moments, Alex and Silver are two teenagers with a whole lot of baggage of hurt and wrongs done to them but together, working together, they find healing.
In summary: A captivating story that I would highly recommend.
TOLD IN FIRST PERSON DUAL POV. LEADS TO HFN
We were supposed to be best friends
But turned out to be worst enemies…
They say revenge is a dish best served cold
I’d had four years to stew on what Daria Followhill did to me, and now my heart was completely iced.
I took her first kiss.
She took the only thing I loved.
I was poor.
She was rich.
The good thing about circumstances? They can change. Fast.
Now, I’m her parents’ latest shiny project.
Her housemate. Her tormentor. The captain of the rival football team she hates so much.
Yeah, baby girl, say it—I’m your foster brother.
There’s a price to pay for ruining the only good thing in my life, and she’s about to shell out some serious tears.
Daria Followhill thinks she is THE queen. I’m about to prove to her that she’s nothing but a spoiled princess.
Everyone loves a good old unapologetic punk.
But being a bitch? Oh, you get slammed for every snarky comment, cynical eye roll, and foot you put in your adversaries’ way.
The thing about stiletto heels is that they make a hell of a dent when you walk all over the people who try to hurt you.
In Penn Scully’s case, I pierced his heart until he bled out, then left it in a trash can on a bright summer day.
Four years ago, he asked me to save all my firsts for him.
Now he lives across the hall, and I want nothing more than to be his last everything.
His parting words when he gave me his heart were that nothing in this world is free.
Now? Now he is making me pay.

Pretty Reckless is Pretty Amazing.
If you have been following the sinners of Saint series you will discover that the characters in this book are the children of the Hotholes, this really excites me, I loved that series, if you haven't read it, its a must read and this being book one in a new series, it also feels like round two or something, another addition of excitement, angst, drama and hotness, I can't wait to read it all.
Daria is the daughter of Melody and Jaime. Jaime was one of the boys from the sinners of Saint series who slept with his teacher from All Saint's High, that teacher is Daria's mother.
The Angst-meter is off the charts with this one, I loved Pretty Reckless it was compelling and I was gripped onto it throughout not wanting to put it down. I have read some angsty college or young adult romances before but this was, whoa, fabulously angsty.
L.J Shen doesn't follow the norm, I never expect her to go with the flow, I have read all of her books and I still don't know what I am going to get this time and I love that about her writing. L.J Shen is an author that stands out from the rest, not only in her flawless writing but with her plots, the characters and the whole feel of everything she has written as though she knows exactly what the reader wants and that it to have their interest piqued throughout.
I have read many romance books were there are teenagers in a college environment and without fail there is always that bitchy girl, the spoiled princess, the head cheerleader who you just love to hate but what a refreshing turnaround by L.J Shen when the lead character, a character you are normally on the same side as and are supposed to like is actually the ice princess herself, the bitchy cheerleader, the girl with more stinging comebacks on her tongue than a viper and oh how I loved being in the front row seat on her journey, especially when she meets Penn at a young age for her first kiss then later on as an even more bratty teen and do you know what? despite the fact I would normally despise these sort of characters, I bloody loved them.
A young love to teenage love story, High school rivals, friends to lovers. enemies to lovers, secrets and truths, confessions and forgiveness, hate and love, parenting issues, family issues in a nut shell Pretty Reckless pretty much had it all going on.
This is one of those books were you just have to read it, I can't go into spoilers, in fact I wouldn't know were to start I have so many favorite moments in this book.
There's no cheating though, god forbid if there was cheating as well that would make it fall off the radar for angst, but I will say this, if you love teenage drama's, complex and interesting characters and a good plot then pick it up it's so worth it.
Also, Check out Defy if you haven't read it, Melody and Jaime's story its a novella and can be read as a standalone.

I screwed that up when I fell for my best friend, Reid Fortino. He’s gorgeous, successful, and sexy as hell. I figured it would be easy to find him a match—and save the family business at the same time.
But the more time I spend attempting to find the perfect girl, the more I realize how much I want him for my own. What’s the harm if we give in for just one night?
I should have known that would never be enough.
Now I’m on the verge of losing my job and my heart.
We were an imperfect match from the start, but I don’t know how to let him go

A friends to lovers romance that you won't be able to put down.
I loved these two characters. A perfect match as friends but will they cross the boundary?
Reid and Willow do everything together, they spend so much time with each other they haven't even thought about looking for love, they are both content with each other's company.
Willows mother owns a relationship match agency and Willow is supposed to be taking over following her retirement which she suddenly announced will be sooner rather than later. Willow doesn't have the best skills at matching people together and helping them to find love. When Willows mother threatens her future position at the match agency because she hasn't made enough matches she then challenges her to find Reid a future wife or the business is going to her sister. This challenge begins to stir feelings in both Willow and Reid when Willow has to then search on their books for his match, neither want to admit they have feelings for each other but also don't want the other to find someone else either, this challenge gives them the push they both needed.
Willow is desperate to settle down get married and have a baby but Reid because of his father and the example he set with his own marriage to his mother doesn't want either. They maybe a perfect match in some things but this is a big issue for both of them once they admit their feelings for each other.
This is a sweet romance at times, it has laugh out loud moments, I loved Willow's sister who brought humour to the plot with her wacky ways. The balance was perfect, the humour, the addition of likeable characters, the seriousness, hotness, IMPERFECT MATCH is definitely an all rounder and it was a feel good romance that ticks all the box's.
I have read a similar book before so this isn't unique but I would definitely recommend for the feel good factor.

The vow should have been unbreakable.
Gigi Livingston is a broken girl, praying she lives long enough to graduate so she can run away and escape the brutality of her brother and his demons.
A chance encounter with a biker should send her running for safety, but it doesn’t.
His touch doesn’t bruise her or make her bleed. His touch makes life seem worth living.
Gears, a prospect with the Black Sentinels MC, is determined to save Gigi, to protect and love her. She evokes feelings in him that prove too deep and powerful to ignore—feelings no prospect should have when his focus should be on earning his full patch.
As the connection between Gigi and Gears grows, she begins to feel hopeful for her future, until her brother’s past comes back and turns her world upside down.
The only way to keep her promise is to hurt the man she loves the most and pray he’ll forgive her when the time comes.
Gigi is the story of a girl who finds hope and love, only to risk losing it all for the one person who doesn’t deserve the sacrifice she has to make
A raw and emotional story brilliantly written with fervor by Victoria Johns
I was immediately thrust into the world of Gigi, a young girl living in fear of her brother, a young girl that endures far too much sadness in her young life than any girl should at her age and a young girl with determination and bravery.
Gigi has been subject to verbal and physical abuse for most of her life from her brother and is counting down the days until she turns eighteen, finishes school and each day she lives in hope for freedom, not just for herself but also for her mother.
Gigi's story is sad, dark, her character latches onto you and you don't want to let go until she finally has light in her life and that light appears in the form of a young biker called Gears.
Gigis story was brutal, unfair but when she meets Gears their story becomes heartwarming, emotional, gripping, intense and I was completely swept away with their journey to love.
Gigi's story becomes a book in two halves, you are taken from the harsh beginning of Gigi, experience her freedom and finding love and then the sadness of her separation from Gears.
Have you ever had one of those moments were you face palm and shout at the character, like "oh no what are you doing?", well, I had a moment like that with Gigi but thankfully the story picks up again ten years later when Gigi and Gears are re-united but that doesn't go how I thought it would either, Gears has changed, he's angry for Gigi's sudden disappearance following a choice she felt she had to make for survival. Gigi had some explaining to do as well as winning back the heart of Gears. I didn't always agree with the characters choices and one of those choices turns this heartwarming journey that was unfolding for Gigi and Gear's into a story of second chances but I wouldn't of had it any other way, I loved Gears and Gigi's journey and I felt I took it right along with them .
I felt the heartbreak the heartwarming moments the sadness and the joys, this story pokes and prods at your emotions but most of all I loved the happy, the hea that I longed for throughout this story.
The MC is a family focused Mc and I ca't wait for more from these interesting characters I already have my eye on who I would love to have their own story next.
Gig Contains no cheating, can be read as a standalone.
*Contains scenes of rape that does not go into detail but is present.
Recommended MC second chance romance. Also recommended book one Angel which is Angel and Wolfe's story, a childhood to adult love story.

From the number one New York Times bestselling author of the Thoughtless series comes a sweet, thoughtful romance set high in the Alaskan wilderness.
Mallory Reynolds is a driven woman fueled by her passion for photographing wild animals in remote locations. Every year she makes a trek deep into Alaska, but this time the unthinkable happens: she crash-lands after her plane stalls out in a storm. Injured, vulnerable, and threatened by the very creatures she loves, Mallory fears the worst—until she’s rescued by Michael Bradley, a mysterious mountain man living in self-imposed exile.
Mallory is grateful for Michael’s help but desperate to return home to let her family know she’s alive. Unfortunately, neither of them can leave Michael’s secluded cabin until spring. Mallory’s stuck with a stranger for months.
As Mallory recovers, a deep bond begins to form between the pair.
Mallory is convinced that fate brought them together, but Michael is buried in his past, unable to move forward. Undaunted, Mallory tends to Michael’s heart as tenderly as he cared for her wounds—but will her love be enough to heal him?
A story of survival and finding love in the most unexpected places.
I liked this book, I just didn't love it.
When Mallory's plane crashes in the middle of nowhere while flying solo for her annual photography trip, she is injured badly and the plane is beyond prepare.
Alone, cold and fighting off wolves and the dangers of Bears she is unexpectedly then rescued by Michael who lives in solitude.
With winter approaching and no way for Mallory to get back to civilisation until the Spring, Michael and Mallory cohabit making the most of the situation. Although Michael chose this life it takes some adjusting for Mallory, sharing a small cabin, hunting, bathing occasionally, living in isolation.
Mallory begins to fall for Michael and virtually throws herself at him some days but Michael knowing she will be leaving someday and not wanting to hurt her feelings keeps his distance which was some mean feat considering their closeness and no other human contact. Michael is also still grieving the loss of his first love, one of his reasons for choosing the life he now lives.
This was a very slow-burn romance, so slow I was bored throughout a majority of this book, the only excitement were hungry wolves and Bears. Having said that though I'm sure I could picture this being made into a film, it was just hard to read.
Leads to a hea that has you wondering how life was after the fact they were together again, ironic really considering the long build up.

Years ago, they were in love. She was an up-and-coming superstar and he was the devilishly handsome security professional hired to keep her safe. They fell hard and fast, no matter how they tried to resist one another. But not everyone around them was happy about their relationship, and a string of lies and deceit destroyed what they once had.
Having just taken the helm of a nationally renowned protective services company, Kynan McGrath is looking to rebrand and revamp his career. The newly crowned Jameson Force Security is moving from the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas to the mountainous steel town of Pittsburgh, and the last thing Kynan has time for is to deal with his past.
More than a decade has passed since their split, but even a bruised and battered heart remembers its first love. So when Joslyn Meyers comes to him for help, Kynan reluctantly agrees to keep her safe from a terrifying stalker who keeps threatening her life.
As the danger they face continues to intensify, Kynan realizes he’ll stop at nothing to protect the woman who turned her back on him all those years ago. Because one thing is certain—no matter how hard he tries to convince himself otherwise, Joslyn still has his heart.
What an exciting start to a new series.
Code name Genesis is a spin off from the Wicked horse series, I love books by Sawyer Bennett, her hockey series is brilliant but I'm not a fan of BDSM club books which was what Wicked Horse was about and I couldn't get into it, so this was right up my street.
I have to admit when Kynen and Joselyn are first reunited my immediate thoughts were what an Ass Kynen is, but I have to admit he redeemed himself 100 fold.
Kynan and Joslyn split 12 years ago, Joslyn followed her acting and singing career and Kynan's career lead him to became the owner of a high profile security firm.
When Joselyn is attacked and has a dangerous stalker she seeks out Kynan's help.
Joselyn left 12 years ago without explanations, ended their relationship and left. Now there's more to that story and I ain't adding spoilers but let's just say Kynan makes it very clear to Joselyn when he meets her again he has moved on when she is taken to his home for protection and she has a half naked beautiful woman flaunted in her face.
Kynan is acting out of hurt and anger, he never moved on from Joselyn or had any another relationship after her, all these years he just visited The Wicked Horse sex club for his needs and Josely never settled down either.
Kynen quickly snaps into professionalism though and starts making plans for Joselyn's safety with his team.
What I never did get was why a man with his ability's never hunted Joselyn down for an explanation if he was so in love with her?
Not only is this story a second chance romance which I love, it's hot, has action, suspense, danger and has interesting secondary character's that I am so looking forward to reading more about. Kynan is putting his new security team together and I like what I see so far.
I read this In one sitting, I was hooked on Kynan and Joselyn's second chance love story and the excitement of the hunt for whoever Joselyn's stalker was, Code Name Genesis is a gripping story.

My life has been served to me on a gold platter to be devoured by my silver spoon.
Money, money, and more money. It’s the backbone of the Goddard name. I’m the only son, so it’s all mine for the taking.
But sometimes money isn’t enough. I always want more, yet nothing seems to satisfy me.
My father has made sure I become a part of The Elite Seven. Where most candidates are chosen, I was given my place. Everything comes at a price, though. Luckily, I can afford any price—no one has more money than God.
The Elite Seven have their initiations. My assignment is personal and beneath me: steal a car and send a warning. It’ll hurt my best friend in the process, but we both made a pact going into this. There’s no line we won’t cross.
My task makes an ugly turn and I nearly take a life. Such a small, unimportant person—someone no one would even notice was gone. She’s a problem my money and power can easily sweep under the rug.
It’s what my father wants. It’s what my brothers want. But when she finally opens those big, innocent brown eyes, I realize I’ve found what I’ve been searching for my entire life. I don’t want my little problem to disappear…I want to keep her.
Accept your sin wisely, for the tasks given to earn your place are not for the weak—they’re for The Elite.
Money is my legacy, but I want something money can’t buy.
I am Baxter Samuel Goddard V.
I am Gluttony.

Prepare to meet God
Oh wow, I think this is my favourite one yet!!. I am loving this series but after the first few books and the excitement of it all felt it sliding down and I wasn't enjoying it a much but then K Webster has picked it right back up again, and I can't wait for the next book.
Gluttony had everything I love in my reads, angst, a good plot, suspense, hotness and a hea.
"Money is my legacy, but I want something money can’t buy.
I am Baxter Samuel Goddard V.
I am Gluttony."
God has interested me throughout this series, he's the boy with the fast cars, the laid back attitude, the cocky and untouchable demeanor and a guy with more money than sense, no wonder his nickname is GOD.
Reading God's story, his own book in this series you will discover all the above is true, he really is all that, but he's also a cliche, God's life represents the saying "money can't buy you love".
I liked God the spoiled rich boy with an attitude, but I loved God the man who learned that money doesn't buy you everything, especially the affection and love of a real woman, a woman called Zemira who began her life in an orphanage and doesn't need or want expensive things. God always got what he wanted, he never had to work for anything in his life and Zemira became his biggest challenge yet.
I was elated with God, finally, a character that came across like a man and not a college boy.
I was also captivated by the whole story and flipped the pages eagerly, God meeting Zemira in the most drastic and shocking way, the updates on the Elite, Lillian finally getting what was coming to her and God pursuing Zemira like she was his next breath, it was all exciting stuff.
I can't wait for the next book.
Gluttony can be read as a standalone but there is a series of events in the Elite that you do not want to miss so I would advise reading from the beginning with Lust by Ker Dukey. Each book is written by a different author.

And I'm not just talking about baseball.
Read this sexy romance now!
Benching Brady is a standalone romance. It is Book Two in The Perfect Game Series.
Books one is Catching Caden. Book three is coming soon.
A good sports romance.
It took me a little while to get into this book, firstly I am not a baseball fan, secondly, I know nothing about it and thirdly the beginning of this book is baseball, Brady playing, Brady getting injured and Brady starting his therapy.
Most sports romances I read don't have a lot about the sport and concentrate on the relationship but seeing as this relationship has a slow start you get a lot about the sport and Brady's recovery period.
What does grab my attention is Brady's flashbacks to something in his past which you only find out about the real meaning to later in the plot.
Brady is a single guy, known as a playboy in the Baseball world, he has a girl in every state, so he's pretty much a slut but there is more to Brady, he has a past that has held him back from settling down and does what he does for his own reasons. Brady is a man who is loving the game but ignoring the pain, a man who has lost and covering the grief with ways he can cope with.
When Brady meets his PT he is instantly attracted to her and pulls out all the charm but Rylee is aware of his reputation for being a player not just on the field and doesn't entertain his advances.
Benching Brady is a slow-burn romance, there's a lot of push and pull, a lot of baseball talk and although I enjoyed it, I will have to read another book by Samantha Christy due to this being my first and the subject to me other than the relationship part of the story bored me.
Benching Brady has no angst or drama, no cheating, does lead to a hea and is available in KU.
Great for Baseball fans.

"The heart speaks in whispers but sometimes by the time you listen its too late"
Hook shot is a compelling and gripping story. A story of, choices, domestic abuse and survival.
Wow, I was blown away with this story, not only does it awaken the awareness of domestic abuse but tells the story of two relationships, one that was destined to heal and one that had the potential to destroy.
Iris is young when she first meets Caleb, she is swept of her feet by the golden boy in Basketball, she has her own ambitions, her own future to look forward to. Iris is a strong independent young woman with a mother who used men her whole life to get what she wanted and Iris is determined to break the mould, determined to go through life being dependant on nobody. All Iris's plans and ambitions are destroyed when she finds herself in a relationship with an obsessive, possessive man, a violent and destructive to the soul relationship she didn't see coming.
Iris first meets August when Caleb is playing away, she is watching a game in a local bar near her hotel and they chat the night away, it's like their souls are aligned, like they have known each other years and in the moment when it's time to say goodnight Iris doesn't take it any further and even though the pull is strong for them to kiss she tells August she has a boyfriend, what she didn't realise in that moment was this was an invisible crossroads in her life.
August felt Iris, it was more than attraction, so when he see's her again at a game he believes it's fate, until he discovers the boyfriend she was talking about was his rival in the sport, Caleb.
Caleb is a possessive and vindictive guy, Iris didn't see the evil side to him until it was too late, the once strong black woman became a shell of herself when she became trapped in a relationship she couldn't get out of.
Many times August and Iris cross paths, and even when they are apart August often thinks of Iris. August has no idea what Iris is going through behind closed doors, he sees only what the media see's, the golden boy of basketball and his new fiance but he was taught one thing by is father and goes by his gut and that is, when the time is right he needs to take a shot.
"The last thing I wanted to be was a poster child for domestic abuse, not with the way our culture finds a way of blaming the victim but none of that was the deciding factor in why I finally spoke, I spoke because maybe there's some girl like me, young, vulnerable, naive, flattered by his attention, maybe she thinks that jealousy means he loves her more or that's cute but she realises slowly, surely, shes being cut of from her friends, isolated from her family, being moulded into something shes not, into what he wants her to be. The heart speaks in whispers but sometimes by the time you listen its to late"
A beautiful but powerful story. August will make you weak at the knees and your heart melt.
This story is bitter-sweet and worth the five stars given. Kennedy Ryan has a way with words and when I listened to this book in audio, the words either went straight to my heart or sat at the forefront of my mind for me to ponder on.
I have read Book three HOOK SHOT which is Lotus's story, Iris's cousin and when I read that I was eager to know Iris's story. Each book can be read as a standalone and the author gives away no spoilers to the other stories. I am eagerly wanting to read other books in this series and more books from Kennedy Ryan.

Secrets and Lies by Karen Frances was gripping and intense and I can't wait for the next book.
This isn't my normal kind of read, I don't normally go for crime, suspense kind of reads but I am so glad I did and I will be coming back for more. Everything was balanced just right, I was quickly enveloped in the story through the ease of the authors writing and the action, suspense and hotness kept me hooked.
Please note this cannot be read as a standalone and I read this through my kindle unlimited, so I will eagerly be awaiting book 2.
Maria Fraser, wife of the notorious gang lord. The woman who has turned a blind eye to many crimes over the years. The woman who has lost herself.
I was instantly hooked on this book. After years of marriage Maria discovers her husband for the monster he is when she stumbles across an interrogation in the basement of one of his clubs and what she see's gives her not only chills but leaves her in disbelief and disgust at the monster she married and shares a bed with.
When Maria's husband is murdered and other murders begin to happen Detective Jack McKenzie keeps a close eye o Maria but after interviewing her in hospital can't help but feel pulled towards her. There's attraction for both of them until it leads to more.
"We live in different worlds, but with his skin against mine and his soft kisses trailing my neck, you’d never know we shouldn’t be together. This is a secret that can’t be shared. Not ever".
A risky relationship, a forbidden relationship i the eyes of the law, a suspect and Gangsters wife but the attraction is too strong for both of them.
"For the first time in my life, I willingly surrender myself to a man. I’m allowing him dominance over me and my body. This time, I’m not a victim. I’m not weak. I’m full of passion and burning desire for a man who I know could ruin me."
I will be eagerly awaiting the conclusion of this story. If this was a complete story I have o doubt that I would have given this 5 star.
I would like to say we were old lovers. That once upon a time he was my everything, and I was his, but that would be a lie. He may have been mine, but I wasn’t his. I was his sister’s annoying little friend who he didn’t even know was in love with him.
Years later, after seeing him again for the first time, nothing has changed. Except now he notices me, and I will do everything in my power to avoid him. Because Falcon is the most conceited man on this planet, and because when he looks at me with steel eyes, my heart still misses a beat.
I get what I want, and I’m never denied anything either. It’s my charm. It’s hard to say no to something you never knew you desired until I’m standing in front of you. That’s not just who I am, it’s what I do. I help men achieve everything they have ever wanted.
Most people would go to great lengths to be near me. Yet, my sweet Ariel, I can’t even get her to stay in the same room as me. Maybe it’s because I told her I would be the best lay of her life—that has to be it—and once I’m finished with her, she’s avoiding being disappointed by every other man for the rest of her life.
It couldn’t possibly be anything else, because let’s face it, I’m perfect.

I am loving this series but I think this is my favourite to date.
Four friends, one Elite sex club, Four different love story's with a dash of dark, sexiness and hotness.
Conceited is a story of unrequited love, teenage crushes followed by a love-hate relationship with angst and drama.
Falcon is your typical man-whore kind of guy out of the Elite friends, he's cocky, doesn't sleep with a woman more than once, he's sexy and witty to boot.
Ariel is the best friend of Tracy who is Falcon's sister and after not seeing Falcon for a few years she crosses paths with Falcon again while she is working as a reporter following the whispers of an Elite club and is trying to get the dirt and more information on the secret club in the city.
If you have been following this series you will know that The Elite club is exclusive and no-one must say were it is or what goes on in this secret club, let it slip and you will lose your life, members know the consequences and dangers but Ariel is determined to follow her leads and find out more putting her own life in danger too.
What a turn around this was, when Ariel meets falcon again she can't stand him for his rejection all those years ago when she was 17 but falcon now he's seen the older ,even more, hotter version of Ariel he can't get Ariel out of his head.
I loved the push and pull in this book, the angst, the danger and the sexy times. I do love a teen-crush, brothers best friend to lovers kind of romance and along with everything else that was in this book, Falcon's sexy demeanor and cockiness, the way he just kept rubbing Ariel up the wrong way, it just that little bit more than the previous books.
I am so looking forward to the last book. T.L Smith always adds hotness, angst, drama and a touch of dark to her books. Some books by T.L Smith are darker than others and I love the balance in her plots that always gives me everything I need that has me turning the pages eagerly.
Can be read as a standalone but would be appreciated more if started from the first book in this series which is Cavalier, Creed and Elicia's story.
Told in first person dual pov, leads to hea.
