![]() 5 End game stars. I couldn't put this book down, just when the plot was on steady ground something else would happen that would have me on edge again. The story begins with Ellie in High school a young girl living with her aunt and progresses into falling for her teenage crush and then takes you through her teen years, her relationship woes and her highs and lows after heartbreak. Ellie: He was sunshine and moonlight, sandy beaches and salty air. He was happy laughter and sexy smiles. He was my best friend, my lover and everything good in this world and believe me, few things were ever good in my world. 5 years later and Ellie has encountered love and loss, heartache and pain while being surrounded by amazing friends who are all great secondary characters. From past to present, Ellie now in her twenties and still struggling to move on from her past and from feelings of abandonment and pain. I loved His End Game told in Ellie's pov. The characters and plot the angst and dramas, everything that kept me turning the pages eagerly. Some activities of the characters and events had me angry with the characters and gave me a feeling of sypathy for Ellie and that's great story telling, when an author can draw an emotion from a reader. A brilliant read with twists and turns, drama and contains all I love in a contemporary read. This is my first book by this author and I am looking forward to reading more about the other characters. ![]() SYNOPSIS Ellie Davis has finally begun to mend the pieces of her shattered heart. Max held out his hand. Dance with me?” I wanted to cry. I didn’t want him to go. I wanted forever. He was sunshine and moonlight, sandy beaches and salty air. He was happy laughter and sexy smiles. He was my best friend, my lover, my heart…He was everything good in this world, and believe me, few things were ever good in my world. I didn’t want to lose him, but would never begrudge him this experience. I took his hand. “We’ve never danced together, have we?” “This is just the first of many, Ellison Davis,” he murmured, pressing his lips to mine. “I like the sound of that,” I said against his mouth. We danced for the remainder of the song and just when I thought it was over, it began again. ══ What Others Are Saying ══ “This book made me feel like no other.” - Reader Review “R.B.
