One chance to forget the past.
One opportunity to make things right.
There’s no denying the heat between Jules Taylor and Foster Sutton. They are two wild souls with a fire burning inside. Together, they create a hot and dangerous mix of emotion and lust.
But after a terrible accident leaves one friend dead, Foster is bound by a secret that keeps him from getting closer to Jules. And he’s left with only one thing to offer her – friendship.
For Jules, her relationship with Foster is getting old. He falls down and she picks him up, but they never move forward.
Their occasional hook-ups are no longer enough, and Jules vows that this is her summer to forget Foster and find love. If it were only that easy.
It seems fate is pushing Jules and Foster together at every turn. And it’s only a matter of time before they give up and give in.

A second chance and friends to lovers story.
*Also titled More #Impossible love with an alternative cover.
I enjoyed this book and read it in one sitting. I love a friends to lovers story and although the whole thing was cliche were they are friends with benefits and denying anything more so they don't spoil their friendship you can't help but wait for the moment were they will both finally realise that it's time to take the plunge and be honest with each other.
Foster and Jules have been friends since high school. Foster adores Jules, but he is a guy who also doesn't see himself as good enough for her after a brief fling years before they then decided to just be friends. Foster then went on to make some some big mistakes. His past is like a huge cloud hanging over his head, preventing him from pursuing a relationship with Jules.
Jules also adores Foster and has had to watch him get it on with numerous girls. It was sad how she took the scraps when Foster was drunk, scenes were she would be putting him to bed and because he was horny she would take the kisses and the loving and then they would go back to just friends in the morning when Foster wouldn't remember the night before.
There was a constant game of tug of war with each others hearts, Jules constantly telling him he can do better with his life and him constantly self sabotaging his life with drink and women.
The big turnaround comes when Jules hurts her arm in a bar and finds herself needing help to dress, with her other best friend away that only leaves Foster to tend to her, dress her, bath her and the more time they spend with one another the more their feelings become more open to each other.
Foster needs a Hallelujah moment before he see's whats in front of him and he finally gets it and his girl.
A good story, it definitely wasn't a Rom Com as stated in the blurb on Amazon but I enjoyed it, it wasn't without it's frustrations either with the characters but it all comes out good in the end.
I haven't read any other books by this author and I found the writing easy to read, told in first person and everything was balanced out just right, the hotness, the drama's and there was no dull moments or moments of boredom in the plot. I will definitely read more from this author.
A good freebie on Amazon and I am glad I got the chance to sample this authors work, looking forward to reading more in the series.
