Until he sees her through the windows of the National Ballet, dancing, and suddenly the world doesn’t seem so dark. Aleksandra Artemov ticks all the ballet boxes. Father a legendary Kirov dancer. Check. Prepping since birth for classical ballet. Check. Compulsive control over the food she eats. Check. Principal dancer at The National Ballet of Canada. Check. But what she craves is freedom. She craves Jordan. Everything about him should terrify her. His size, his tattoos, his edge. But he doesn’t. He stirs her very soul. Jordan has nothing but himself to offer her, and he's never been good enough for anyone. Can he figure out how to face his own demons before he loses his light for good? ![]() REVIEW Unworthy,Unlovable,Unclean This is how the famous rock-star viewed himself. Jordan had come from an abused background and endured how no human being should be treated let alone a child. The story does not go into full details of Jordan's abuse and does not involve sexual abuse but gives you an idea of how he was treated before he was rescued and put into care. Lexi is a ballerina with issues of her own, an abusive father who once was in the ballet until an accident and pushes Lexi to be where he never got in his career. I loved both of these characters both humble, likeable and lovable. Jordan is a rocker with a soft heart who battles with his worthiness to be loved and you can't help but melt at some of the things he says and does. They first meet when Jordan see's Lexi dancing in the studio and he watches her through the window and keeps returning to watch her dance. "Lexi just twirled into my life and she's like a light I've been living without. But I'm terrified that my darkness will dim her somehow". Jordan reclaimed is a beautiful and heartfelt story with great secondary characters, I loved the fact that Jordan shared a home with his band-mates, they had all been in care together, they were family and took care of each other. I'm looking forward to reading about more of these guys and hopefully getting a glimpse of seeing how Lexi and Jordan continue on their journey. Told in third person, relating the experiences of the characters alternately. As a reader my preference is always dual pov's, first person because you get into the thoughts and feelings of the character, feel more connected and it took me a while to get used to the writing style told like a story but I finally adjusted and enjoyed it. ![]() CURRENTLY ON SALE ON SALE 0.99 **JORDAN RECLAIMED is available now!** No one but his found family really knows the man under the fame and fortune, the scars he hides behind the rockstar lifestyle.
