Oh, boy, did I love the angst in this... I got frustrated with the characters and anxious when things weren't going the way I wanted them to, I was on edge and couldn't turn the pages fast enough, so you could say I bloody loved it, I'm an angst whore lol A bit about the plot: Emma lives with her brother and daughter. Emma was pregnant at 16, a result of a one night stand and was kicked out by her parents, her brother who is also a teen, left with Emma to support her. To make a living Emma works in a lap dancing bar, serving tables and does lap-dances. For three years Emma has grown to know Carson Matthews, the famous racing car driver who comes into the club whenever he is in town and always asks for Emma and they go into the back room. Emma normally only does lap dances but for Carson, she makes an exception. Emma has grown to love Carson but what would a race-car driver want with a lap-dancer? what shame would that bring to his career?, Emma doesn't have any self worth sometimes and just accepts that, it is what it is... A three-year relationship within the confines of a lap dancing club. Carson is sweet and caring, treats Emma like she is his one an only whenever he visits until he leaves the club and Emma only gets glimpses of him on the t.v or in the paper where he is photographed with models and beautiful girls on his arm. A great story with secrets that the characters hold back along with twists and turns along the way. A Cinderella type story that I couldn't get enough of, I adored both characters, I wished Emma had a little more backbone at some points but if she had that would have let the cat out of the bag too soon and it all added to the tension for me as a reader. I love Kirsty Moseley's books, I always enjoy the ones I read and I definitely need to read more. AVAILABLE FOR 0.99. Told in first person. leads to HEA. Does not have cheating.
