There is so much going on in the second book, one drama after another with no dull moments. I love it! The only disappointment I had was the epilogue jumped to five years later where I then discovered that despite Lyra and Jack being in love with each other forever, their story is a childhood to adult romance, that they still hadn't tied the knot and everything was wrapped up in the epilogue despite this. So I didn't get the happy sigh I usually get when I finish a book. I was left wondering what happed next in their hea :-( In summary, this is a brilliant and captivating childhood to adult romance that will keep you hooked the whole way through.
