![]() BLURB In a blistering novel of raw emotion and desire, a tormented woman teaches an alpha male that money can’t fix everything . . . but love can. Tiffany : After fighting for a new life, I don’t want to play the victim anymore. However, with three kids to raise, I’m getting desperate enough to make a deal with the devil. My estranged brother-in-law, Blake, says he just wants to help, but he’s been trouble since I met him. I don’t know if I can believe this kinder, gentler Blake, and there’s a friction between us that has turned into the sweetest chemistry. He could be my salvation . . . or my downfall. Blake : I haven’t always had Tiffany’s best interests at heart but I’m ready to make up for my sins. Besides, I can’t help admiring her: The girl’s a genuine survivor, tough and lean, with eyes of steel. But the more I get to know Tiffany, the more I want her. Every inch of her. Which means I’m about to make a bad situation a hell of a lot worse. ![]() REVIEW I loved Wait for it! 4th book in the series but can be read as a standalone, I didn’t feel I had missed anything previous in other books and there are no spoilers with regards to previous characters story's which has given me a huge incentive to also read those books. Wait for it is a plot with so much emotional healing taking place. Blake is a business man who is void of emotions and what he wants he gets and money is the answer to how he gets it, he's a rich man who buys his way through life. Blake has an estranged brother, a bad apple in the family who he pays to go away whenever he returns, Blake's motive is to keep peace in the family and to prevent his mother feeling hurt. Blake's first encounter with Tiffany is when he discovers she is his brothers wife with three children and pays her off to stay away. Tiffany has spent years trying to escape her husband Phil who won't sign divorce papers and the brush off and money thrown at her by Blake when she needed help didn't hurt physically like his brother does but hurt all the same. Tiffany is a woman with backbone, a woman trying to do her best for her 3 children but still a year on they are all still terrorized by Phil and unable to be free. Phil once again finds were Tiffany is with the children and in desperation Tiffany gets them into a car and she goes to see her friend for help. On Tiffany's arrival she finds a dinner party is in full swing and Blake is there. Tiffany and Blake's 2nd encounter goes completely different, Blake knows what his brother is like and his first assumptions from a year ago that Tiffany is like his brother is squashed when he sees the trembling woman before him, Blake was to quick to judge and to quick to make it go away with money. There’s a lot of content within Wait for it. A story of trust, change, lessons, new beginnings and discovering real love. An emotional journey with hot moments, a fitting end to Wait for it that leaves you wanting more as it doesn’t reach the full hea with proposals or wedding bells but does leave you with a smile on your face, I really did want the whole thing I thought the characters deserved that, I deserved to see that after feeling a part of their journey but alas i'll have to settle for what I hope happens. Told in dual pov's and brilliantly written by the author everything is balanced well in a way that I never felt one dreaded dip in the plot of boredom but I was eagerly turning the pages. My first book by this author and I am looking forward to reading more. Arc gratefully received by netgalley for review purposes NOW LIVE!
