We met at the age of eight. That day on the playground was a turning point in my life. She stole my heart with just a glance as she sang off key.
But nothing’s perfect.
I figured out pretty quickly she was too good for me, so I let her go.
I thought I was doing the right thing--until I realized I wasn’t. She was my everything and without her I was nothing.
When we reunited, my heart became whole. My life had meaning. We loved fiercely and completely. Life was perfect.
The more success I gain with Falling Down, the further away I’m pulled from Tera. But she gains success of her own, and the distance grows immeasurably.
She wants me to live my dreams and I want the same for her. We both know our love is strong enough to survive time and distance.
Then the unthinkable happens and nothing will ever be the same again.
All the feels...
Wow! I love this series, there's always humor, dramas, hotness and I love the characters but Xanders book, damn, I nearly broke, such an emotional build up.
Xander and Tera have been childhood friends since the age of eight including the other guys who eventually make it to the rock band Falling Down.
Tera and her brother Linc spent all their time at Xanders home, they came from a home with drug abuse and suffered abuse so they basically lived at Xanders who had a cool dad who was also a doctor.
Xander and Tera always had a different kind of relationship and as they got older their chemistry was tangible and their romance inevitable.
I don't want to spoil the journey which was written brilliantly by Anne I couldn't put this book down.
major swoon alert!
The beginning Xander part one is childhood to adult love story that really pulls on the heartstrings and its such a roller-coaster of emotions.
I laughed, cried and completely saw a different side to the Xander I have grown to love, in fact it makes me want to start the series all over again.
You don't get to see the guys in such detail from when they were younger and I loved the growing up and coming of age stages in this book.
You could read this book as a stand-alone but you will definitely want to read about the other characters too in this addictive rockstar series
Desperately ready to jump into book two and I can't wait.
Told in first person dual pov and is part one of Xander's story.
