âWhatâs with you and nakedness?â
âItâs how weâre born.â I smirked. âEasy.â
âI was also born with crooked teeth and no hair, so I should revert back to that?â
âActually,â I licked my lips, âYou were born without teeth, unless God made you extra specialâ¦â I pushed away from the counter. âDid he?â
She plastered her ass against the door and looked up at me. âDid he what?â
âMake you extra special?â
âWhy are we in the bathroom?â
âIt think it was a power move on your part, lock me in here, tell me how things are going to be, maybe add in a spanking and teach me my lessonââ
ââwhy do I even talk to you?â Blaire wondered out loud.
âBecause Iâm not boring. Like some football playersâ¦â
âYou never played football.â
âGuilty. I was more of a rugby sort of guy, what prick wears padding?â
She eyed me skeptically, âNo offense but donât Rugby players have a bit moreâ¦â She gulped and looked down past my waist, âOkay this is coming out wrong but⦠thickerââ
The more she talked the redder she got like she couldnât bring her eyes up any higher without doing permanent damage to her retinas.
I grinned so hard my face hurt. âThicker?â
âUm,â She pressed a hand to her forehead. âLegs, damn it, legs!â
âTotally thought you were going somewhere else with that, spy girl.â
She made a face and crossed her arms. âStop calling me that, it makes me feel young, stupid, and inexperienced.â
âLike a virgin?â I said helpfully. âTouched for the very first time?â She muttered out a dear God what did I do in a past life to deserve him.
I took it as a compliment and pressed my hands against the door on either side of her head. âI think youâre asking yourself the wrong question.â
She frowned, âI didnât say anything.â
âNo, but youâre thinking it.â I whispered. âYouâre wondering what the hell youâre doing in here instead of out there.â
She swallowed and looked away.
I tilted her face back towards mine, my finger and thumb cradling her chin. âThe past always looks better through I got fucked over glasses.â I got a bit closer, so close I could taste the mint from her gum. âYou think you still want him. Youâre wrong.â
She inhaled sharply. âYou donât know me.â
âI know you blush from here,â I tapped her chin then ran my hand down the slim column of her neck until it pressed against her chest. âTo here, when you get embarrassed,â I leaned in and whispered in her ear. âOr turned on.â
She blushed immediately.
I kissed her neck and said. âTold you so.â
She shoved me away so fast I almost got whiplash. âThis,â She took another deep breath. âThis is business.â
âThis?â I pointed between her and me. âIs more than business, but whatever helps you sleep at night spy girl⦠just be sure to let me know when you want it to get more personal because Iâd love to see every inch of blush infused skin, and Iâd love to eat my wayââ
ââNo.â Shed jammed her finger at me. âWhen I called you, you literally had to kick a woman out of bed.â
âTwo, actually.â I shrugged, âNot that it matters.â
âSo? I like women.â
âIâm not them.â
âNo,â I said seriously. âYouâre not. If you were, this would already be finished.â
âThere is no⦠this, or us, beyond you helping me get info on Jessie and Vanessa.â
âSure.â I nodded. âFine.â
âWhy donât I believe you?â
âBecause I just lied.â I admitted with a grin, âBut at least you know where I stand.â
âOh yeah? Whereâs that?â
âIn front of you.â I smirked. âObviously.â I walked towards her again and reached for the door knob, âLook Iâm just a guy standing in front of a girl asking her toââ
ââfinish that sentence and Iâm going to show you my kung fu skills.â
