5 look to the moon stars
I'll admit it, I was a little slow taking to this book , one chapter was told in Ty's pov then the next it was told in third person on behalf of Chase, I got a little thrown and couldn't understand why it wasn't in Chase's pov until it clicked as to why it was done like that and I got it.
From 30% onward Moonshot had me, my interest was piqued and I was getting through the plot with an urgency wanting to know how it was going to play out.
An unpredictable plot, intense, great characters, mysterious, twists and turns and fan me down hot, basically everything you could want in a contemporary romance read and more.
I loved Chase, the first impressions of him as a play boy baseball player soon ddissipatedand my heart hurt for him further on In the story.
Ty was a 17 year old girl when the story begins mostly told in Ty's pov you get the thoughts and feelings of Ty, her love of baseball the story of a young girl on the road with her dad a coach of a famous baseball team and as the story moves along with her life you see her love of Chase, her fears and her failings and at times it's emotional.
I broke under his hands. I might I've cried. I definitely swore. In those moments, his eyes on mine, his touch pushing inside, I climbed into heaven and fell back down a different woman.
I enjoyed Moonshot I was gripped mainly because I wanted to know how it was going to end, I had questions I needed answers to and Alessandra Torre delivered in style leading to a hea.
Baseball isn’t supposed to be a game of life and death…
The summer that Chase Stern entered my life, I was seventeen. The daughter of a legend, the Yankees were my family, their stadium my home, their dugout my workplace. My focus was on the game. Chase... he started out as a distraction. A distraction with sex appeal poured into every inch of his six foot frame. A distraction who played like a god and partied like a devil.
I tried to stay away. I couldn’t.
Then, the team started losing.
Women started dying.
And everything in my world broke apart.
