I loved Spiralling Skywards, of course with it being Lesley Jones I was completely on edge the whole time as I fell in love with the characters, at the back of my mind I was waiting for the heartache Lesley delivers with a punch. Thankfully that didn't happen but the epilogue leading to book two has me a little scared.
Liam has moved to England from Australia, his business partner is Sarah's brother who lived in Australia for two years and now their focused on a branch in the UK.
Sarah: He was hot, Australian, had a great smile, blue eyes that crinkled when he offered up that great smile, and yeah, did I mention he was hot?
A love and lust at first sight read that is hot and takes you on a journey with the characters as they establish their relationship with a few bumps on the journey.
Sarah: I felt alive. I'd never experienced such an intense level of feelings for a man.
Liam is a hot sweet swoon worthy, straight to the point talking Aussie, I loved him.
He kissed my forehead "I like you a lottle Sarah Carter"
"I think I like you a lottle more Liam Delaney"
Sarah has insecurities her mother's actions and her upbringing has prevented her from jumping into relationships, a little irritating and a bit over the top at times, I wanted to shout oh get over it lol but like I said Liam's a swoon worthy sweet talker.
A romantic insta-love read that I thoroughly enjoyed, told in dual pov's. I loved all the characters Luke Sarah's brother, yes I would definitely love more from him and hope he finds love.
Sarah: That fucking accent was enough to charm the Armour plate knickers off a nun. I should of known then that me and my flimsy La Sensa thong didn't stand a chance.
This book does lead to a hea but the preview of the second book has me anxious. Another great read from Lesley Jones.
It only takes one defining moment.
Sarah knows from the second she meets Liam that their connection is more than just instant attraction. It’s deep, it’s consuming, and has the potential to be the real thing. But true love comes at a price.
Fuelled by Liam's past, Sarah's issues, and a messy web of family ties, business partnerships, and exes, the combined forces threaten to snuff out their new found relationship.
Will that spark be smothered by outside forces? Or will they be carried like smoke from the ashes and sent spiralling skywards?
Written in Lesley Jones’ usual heartfelt, witty, and emotional voice, this dual point of view story is just the beginning of her Spiralling series. Look for book two, late 2016.
