If you add two strangers to a cabin in the middle of a snowstorm, the obvious is bound to happen . . .
When Essex lifestyle blogger and fashionista, Gracie Elliott crash lands into the life of Colorado mountain man Koa Carmichael in the middle of a snow storm, fists, chemistry and sexual banter ensue.
After the punk rock Tinker Bell and semi-retired country rock star share some sweet, emotional as well as laugh-out-loud moments, they find it impossible to deny that they might have discovered exactly what neither of them knew they were looking for.
Just what I needed.
A Cowboy in Essex is a light, funny read with no heavy dramas. If you are familiar with cockney rhyming slang, you will find parts of it hilarious as most of the time Koa who is American hasn't a scooby what she's going on about.
Gracie has just ended her relationship with her long-time boyfriend when she got fed up with him putting his career before her and their relationship. Gracie was in need of a well-earned break so when the relationship ends she does what any strong independent woman would do and she goes on her six-month long vacation to Montana alone. When she reaches the cabin at night she then gets tackled to the ground by the owner who thinks she's breaking in.
In summary. I laughed, swooned, and enjoyed it from beginning to end.
Told in first person dual pov and leads to a hea.
