All of my favourite things, I could not put this books down.
Secret drunken Vegas wedding, Brothers best friend and childhood friends romance, secret baby, second chances, Crash just kept ticking all my favourite box's. I loved it.
A little but about the plot.
Maggie returns to home town after being away for 3 years following the death of her brother. Maggie's first call is to go and see her deceased brother's best friend Crash. Maggie surprises him with her announcement that she wants a divorce after a drunken night in Vegas that Crash thought had been annulled.
Not only did Crash not get over his best friends death but he was hit twice as hard when Maggie-Mae vanished from town too and he isn't letting her off that easily to get away a second time.
I loved this book, one thing after another just kept coming, I was definitely on high alert throughout and loved how the author did a brilliant job of balancing everything out, the drama, hotness, the angst, suspense and I loved the characters, Crash was a little moody and went all bossy Alpha on occasion but I loved that.
I haven't read previous books in this series with the Kane brothers and Kelly Gendron doesn't give anything away with what may have happened before in previous books but those characters are in this book and Crash's brothers seem HOT!! so I will definitely be reading those books too.
Recommended read. Told in first person. Leads to a hea.
When I’m dragged to a party by my best friends, I don’t plan on having a good time—and I’m not, until “he” finds me alone on the beach. I expect him to be a jerk with looks like him—but he’s not. He’s funny and sweet and we spend hours talking about nothing and everything.
Then he kisses me.
And I give myself to him—a familiar stranger with a name as fake as mine—then we say goodbye.
I never planned on seeing him again.
When Shell Beach Hall moves all their classes to Shell Beach Academy, I’m more than a little annoyed. The Academy is full of the snobs I avoid like the plague.
I can’t hide my surprise when I see him again. He can’t hide his derision, accusing me of knowing who he was and using him to gain popularity.
I realize I was wrong about him. He’s a jerk…and I want nothing to do with him.
But he won’t leave me alone.
He taunts and teases me.
He’s arrogant and a jock who sleeps with any girl he wants. “They should all be so lucky”—his words, not mine.
I’m disgusted. This is who I gave my V-card to? Ugh.
I loathe everything he represents and I want to punch him in his pretty bullying face.
So why can’t I stop feeling his hands on my body or hear his sexy whispered words?
Why, oh why, did he have to kiss me?
KISS THIS, book 1 in the Kiss Duet
School life, young love, young hate, mean girls, jealous girls, teenage drama's, it's all covered in Anne Mercier's new Young Adult series Kiss This.
Kiss This is a duet and does end on a, to be continued note, but Kiss that follows just a short month later.
Basically, this is the story of a nerdy girl who loves her books, moves areas due to her dad being deployed with the forces and having lost her mother years before is staying with her Aunt.
New school, new start, new friends and then new Jillie.
Jillie is befriended by two girls when she meets them in a store, I couldn't decide if I liked them or not, they were the type of girls that were materialistic, conversed with one another with what to wear, drove Mercedes, image was important and once Jillie became their friend she was told what to wear, how to wear her makeup and Jillie just went with the flow. It turns out they were in fact good friends because there was a whole different realm of catty, mean girls once they started school, so her two new best friends didn't seem as bad in comparison.
The whole story is based around a night with a boy, a boy Jillie meets at a party, they spend hours together on the beach. Because Jillie doesn't know how long she will be with her Aunt she asks the guy if they can just have a perfect night together and not share names, just have one night together and nothing more. Jillie tells him her name is Jill and gives him the name Jack.
(My inner sarcasm kept kicking in, "of course he'll let you call him whatever you want, probably even Ronda, he's a teenage boy who's about to get his end away for goodness sake".) I eye rolled a lot but that's just me not being used to YA.
Jillie does walk away with a night to remember, a perfect night where she lost her virginity to a stranger and her night with Jack becomes something she will treasure, until she starts her new school and her Jack turns out to be the star quarterback and has a girlfriend.
I have to admit, I am not used to reading young adult, I fell in love with Anne Mercier's Rock-star series first and have enjoyed other books she has written so had to give this a go.
Decisions made by these characters and the immaturity drove me insane, Jillie even tries to move on from her night with Jack and begins to have a relationship with a guy who first becomes her friend but because they both deep down fancy other people, they settle, spend a lot of time together like dating, movies etc but never go any further than kiss? I thought they were perfect together myself, I saw the plot going a completely different direction with a message to it, but what do I know, it seems the quarterback does always get the girl.
If you love YA, you will love the drama's and the angst in this story, me personally it drove me round the bend but it won't stop me from reading the second book, I have to see how it all goes. The ending was dramatic and heartfelt and of course,I want to see how Jillie gets on, the mother in me wants to see how this poor girl copes, I want a happy ending.
Told in first person, finishes with TBC. Available In KU.
It’s not you. It’s me.
No, seriously. It is me. Not only does my name literally mean “unfortunate,” but that’s the story of my life.
Everything I touch turns to cr*p. An apartment fire—that I swear I was not responsible for—means I’m living back at home with my s*x-mad parents. Yay, me!
Which is why I need my new job as personal assistant to Cameron Reid to get back on my feet. Three months in this job and I can move back out and, hopefully, remember to turn off my flat iron once in a while.
On paper, my job is easy. Make coffee. Book appointments. Keep everything in order.
Until I walk in on my boss, half-naked, wearing nothing but the kind of tiny white towel that dreams are made of.
Now, nothing is easy—except our mutual attraction. But he’s my boss, and you know what they say about mixing work and pleasure: unless you do p*rn, it’s just not worth it.
Or is it?.
Everyone needs a little klutz in their life...

I adored Mallory and Cameron's story.
Mallory is quirky, she's funny without meaning to be, she's someone you would laugh at rather than with but not in a mean way, she's also the type of woman who would fall over her own feet, I think we all have an inner Mallory, well, I know I have.
Catastrophe Queen is a sweet, slow-burn romance.
Mallory first meets Cameron when he nearly runs her over, no surprise there, this girl could fall over fresh air, she's that dazzled with his good looks what does she do? she does a run for it, I laughed many times at her awkward ways and I absolutely loved the banter between Mallory and her best friend Jade.
Cameron meets the woman he called "The Crazy woman" again when he discovers she is the new hire and his new personal assistant.... Awkward.
Surprisingly, despite their disastrous first meeting Mallory and Cameron get on great together, there are a few mishaps like spilling coffee all over paperwork but Mallory wouldn't be Mallory without some accident or two within her day.
Overall Catastrophe queen is the story of a crazy brunette with crazy relatives, in fact thrown in a farting dog and it wouldn't be far off my own family.
It was funny, heartwarming, a breath of fresh air and a breeze to read.
A recommended light-hearted romance with lovable and likeable characters.

What a gripping and intense Enemies to Lovers story.
For MC romance you simply cannot get any better than this.
The white Prince and the Cartel Princess. It made no sense. Two people who were never meant to be...
Two people ruled by their fathers who despite skin color, race, background, and prejudices fell in love. Two people who were each other's light in the dark.
The characters are complex, the plot is intense and the whole story from start to finish is gripping. Darkness Embraced is written flawlessly by Tillie Cole who has the imagination of a genius when it comes to dark romance.
"My heart was kindling. You were the naked flame that caused it to ignite"
My only negative is there was quite a lot of going back in time to when Tanner and Adelita first met before Tanner joined the hangmen, so a good chunk of this book is in Italics (font) which I didn't like on my kindle. I can understand this in passages where it went back to memories while in the present but these were full chapters?
Apart from this, I loved this book, which reminded me so much of a Romeo and Juliette kind of tale. I was counting down the pages and couldn't wait to get the the part were Tanner and Adelita where finally reunited after being apart and even after this it was so intense, full of action, drama, danger, blood-shed with the Club at war against the Cartel and the KKK.
Darkness Embraced is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. Told in multiple pov, Tanner, Adelita and the club President Styx

Jack “Bulldog” Parrish
Crazy: Mentally deranged, especially as manifested in a wild or aggressive way.
I was thirteen when I discovered the definition of the word I’d forever be labeled.
Some used it as a figure of speech but for me it was a scar I’d carry through life.
Or so I believed until I was diagnosed a manic depressive.
I’m the president of the Satan’s Knights Motorcycle Club, a man of power and control.
A man with enemies near and far.
But the truth, my truth, is my biggest enemy— my mind and I live most of my life with no control whatsoever.
I’m just a man who battles his demons, a man destined to live a life full of darkness.
She’s the light beckoning me, calling me home, away from the torment.
In a world as dark as the one I live in, sometimes I can’t help but crave Sunshine.
I was lost, broken and a prisoner of my scars.
A shell of the woman I used to be, who didn’t know the difference between living and merely existing.
Until a stranger found me, fixed and freed me. He breathed life into my soul, reminding me I was a survivor and still had life to live.
My savior is a biker.
A man tortured by his own scars. A man broken like me, maybe even a little lost too.
I want to be his remedy.
I want to heal him.
I want to return the favor and be his savior.
This is our story, a story neither of us knew how to write until we found each other.
Uncontrollable Temptations is free with Kindle Unlimited
Uncontrollable Temptations is book 3 in the Tempted Series.
This is my first book in the series and it can be read as a standalone.
The first two books in this series although they are interlinked along with the characters are Mafia Romance wereas this is more MC. I will definitely be adding the previous books to my to read list after briefly meeting the characters in this book, I do love a mafia romance.
Jack and Reina's story is an emotional one, a roller-coaster of emotions throughout.
Loss, heartbreak, emotional battles of guilt and regret especially Jack who lost his son and then later his brother.
Jack "Bulldog" Parrish is the President of the Satan's Knights Motorcycle Club, there is a lot going on in the club including mafia involvement, there is never a dull moment and danger always lurking.
Jack hasn't seen his brother in years due to him being on the right side of the law but following the death of his brother Jack needs to look into the life of his brother's girlfriend, scope her out and then see if she knows more than is recorded regarding his death.
Jack is instantly attracted to Reina who works the night shift in a cafe.
Jack becomes a regular visitor to the cafe and for weeks they don't even speak. Reina has no-one in her life, she's a damaged and scarred woman, the type of woman who doesn't draw attention to herself, hides behind her hair, keeps her head down but Jack sees her and is drawn to her.
Uncontrollable Temptations is a story of second chances, survival and finding love when you least expect it.
This story deals with the battles of depression, beauty within and it's as heartwarming as it gets for a story set within the chaos of an MC setting.
It's not easy being friends with rising rock stars - especially when you're the glue that holds them together.

One rock brand, two brothers, three best friends.
Nobody Knows is the first book in the Razes hell series and can be read as a standalone.
I loved this story. Ellie has been best friends with the Brook brothers since she was a little girl. Next door neighbors who have been best friends for years. Ellie has supported the boys through their gigs in dive bars and even though she has her own career supports them even now as they rise to stardom.
Ellie was always closer to Jason when she was younger, they partied through their teenage years and fooled around but now an adult, Ellie has feelings for the older brother Drew. Secretly Ellie keeps her feelings to herself not wanting to spoil the relationship they have but little does she know, Drew feels the same way.
This isn't a love triangle, Ellie and Jason were never an item in their teens. Jason, Ellie and Drew are three friends who support each other, the brothers are close but they begin to discover being in the limelight isn't all that it's cracked up to be as Jason's past secrets are exposed.
As the pressure to stardom mounts and the media become more interested in the band the brothers become divided and poor Ellie is stuck in the middle.
There are insecurities, secrets, dramas, lies, Ellie and Drew finally reveal their own secrets to each other and as the story progresses I couldn't turn the page's fast enough.
Nobody Knows is a childhood friend's to lovers romance, each character has their ups and downs and it also deals with the issue of addiction but in the midst of it all contains a heartwarming romance that leads to a hea.
NOBODY KNOWS is an enjoyable friend's to lovers romance with a rock-star theme, I am definitely looking forward to the next book which is Drew's brother Jason's story.
Told in first person from Ellie and Drew's pov. Available in KU.
From the NYT Bestselling author of MISTER O, comes a hot and hilarious new standalone...
Here’s what you need to know about me—I’m well-off, well-hung and quick with a joke. Women like a guy who makes them laugh—and I don’t mean at the size of his d*ck. No, they want their funny with a side of huge… not to mention loyal. I’ve got all that plus a big bank account, thanks to my booming construction business. Yup. I know how to use all my tools.
Enter Natalie. Hot, sexy, smart, and my new assistant. Which makes her totally off limits... Hey, I’m a good guy. Really. I do my best to stay far away from the kind of temptation she brings to work.
Until one night in Vegas… Yeah, you’ve heard this one before. Bad news on the business front, drowning our sorrows in a few too many Harvey Wallbangers, and then I’m banging her.
In my hotel room. In her hotel room. Behind the Titanic slot machine at the Flamingo (don’t ask). And before I can make her say “Oh God right there YES!” one more time, we’re both saying yes—the big yes—at a roadside chapel in front of a guy in press-on sideburns and a shiny gold leisure suit.
But it turns out what happened in Vegas didn’t stay in Vegas. And now, my dick doesn’t stay in my pants when she’s around. I try to resist. Honest. But the more we try to keep our hands to ourselves, the more we end up naked again, and the more time I want to spend with her fully clothed, too.
The question now is…do I take this woman to be my ex-wife?
I really can't fault this series, despite it's cheesy Book titles these books in the Big Rock series really are my ideal kind of romance reads. A bit of swoon, a bit of sexy and a whole lot of hotness.
WELL HUNG is the third book in the Big Rock series and each book is interconnected so although you don't see much of the previous characters in for example this book each of the characters are linked in someway, this is Wyatt's story who is the twin brother of Nick Hammer from the book Mister O.
Wyatt is the owner of his own building and joinery business and Natalie is his organized assistant.
Wyatt is overprotective of his business, he's been stung before in relationships and his business suffered the backlash so when he starts to get feelings for Natalie he fights any desire he may have on making a move and wants to keep his relationship with Natalie strictly professional.
A big job prospect takes both Wyatt and Natalie on a trip to Vegas. Feelings are confessed and both of them agree to make their night in Vegas a night to remember for one night only.
Wyatt and Natalie both plan on making the most of their attraction to each other, and for just one night live the full Vegas experience from roller-coaster rides to sex behind a slot machine, they even get hitched with the agreement to get the marriage annulled the next day and then the plan is to go back to being just co-workers.
The problem is what happened in Vegas didn't stay in Vegas and things get complicated.
I loved it and the characters. The sex scenes are sizzling, I loved the banter and humor and the whole feel-good vibes you get throughout and especially when reaching the happy ending.
Looking forward to Wyatt's friend's book next, the hot sexy Doctor.
I am listening to this series in Audio, Sebastian York is just brilliant, I always enjoy his narration.

BIG ROCK BOX SET IN AUDIO
What's better than one sexy audiobook? Four romance novels! Bigger Rock is the only bundle for the #1 NYT bestselling Big Rock series and it's now available for the first time. That's 27 hours narrated by Sebastian York for ONE credit!
I never thought my first kiss would be on my wedding day.
But here I stand, clutching a bouquet of pale pink roses behind the doors of a Las Vegas chapel, and at the end of the aisle is the absolute last man I imagined would be waiting for me.
Bestselling author. Notorious bad boy. Savagely handsome, dark as sin, chiseled as stone. And somehow, my soon-to-be husband.
Marry him, and I’ll land my dream job. Save him, and I’ll walk away with everything I’ve ever wanted. All I have to do is remember it’s all for show. None of it is real, no matter how real it feels.
But first, I have to survive the kiss.
And with lips like his, I don’t stand a chance.
I have been loving this series, so despite my none-love of Author blogger romance's I had to give it a go.
Staci Hart is an author who weaves into her plots, humour, sweetness, swoon-worthy moments, a tipple of angst and spoonful's of sexy. Work in progress had all the above..
Like I said, Blogger and Author romance, I avoid them, too close to home, I like to escape in a book not identify with it, I am a blogger after all and although I've never had the hots for an author, bad boy characters maybe, you know what I mean *inserts winky emoji.
Hands up, I nearly gave in after a few chapters, the blogger/Author relationship and another of my none-loves Fantasy romance, I found hard to digest, the fantasy especially went way over my head but as the plot goes on I realise it was a necessity to create a background and understand the characters more, I know that, so I pushed through.
Once the bones of the story was set, all the talk of Thomas Bane's writing about fantasy, Amelia's blog and it started to get down to the Nitty gritty, I was hooked.
Amelia is sweet, she is one of four girls who lacks confidence, 4 best friends who made a pledge to put on red lipstick when they need to be brave, I love their friendships and I was looking forward to Amelia's story.
Thomas Bane AKA Tommy is a famous author, seen many times with high class models on his arm, he's one of those guys the tabloids love or wants to destroy, he's sort of in with the "in crowd" and for an author he's a big celeb who the public love, I was picturing JK Rowling sort of status with this sort of pull that he had.
Tommy and Amelia first meet at an event where he is signing books, Amelia has been the blogger who has always slated his books, you could say she is brutally honest, so when she states her name at his table waiting for her books to be signed Thomas Bane is immediately interested in his nemesis and has to see her again and even asks her to help him write his next book.
There are quite a few developments following their first meeting, twists and turns, a fake marriage to save Tommy's image, its all going on and I loved the development in Tommy and Melia's relationship, how Amelia started to come out of her shell, how Tommy supported her and grew to love her. Work In Progress is a sweet heartwarming romance.
"I knew the second the universe put you in my path that you would change everything, and you have"
I loved it, the characters were adorable and I finished yet again another book of Staci Hart's with a contented sigh.
"I will shake the heavens and mark them, with your name. Because without you, I am lost".
Looking forward to Katherine's story.
She smiled, unafraid, unabashed, just happily gazing at me as if it were the most natural thing. As if it weren’t fake.
I’d only just realized the truth of the matter.
I’d insisted on these daily walks because they were my favorite part of the day.
She thought it was pretend.
She didn’t know this was the only time when I didn’t have to pretend.
Here, I was free to touch her, to kiss her, to lay her down in the grass and make her laugh. Here, I didn’t have to wish. I didn’t have to long for her.
Here, I could have her.
Her hands were on my chest, then my jaw, her eyes darkening, smoldering. Because she knew I needed to kiss her just as well as I knew she wanted me to.
I’d never put a move on her when we were alone, never even brought it up. I hadn’t realized just how badly I wanted to, how desperately I missed moments like this when we were alone.
Could this be the moment he realizes it? she’d asked.
“I don’t know how he hasn’t realized it before,” I answered.

I just couldn't put this book down, I was wondering what was going to come at me next?
Bound to break begins with Cassie finding Leo outside her home, battered and bruised. From there her stepmother comes to his rescue and not only offers him a job doing up their home but also a place to live on the grounds.
This isn't a "rescued boy" love story where the boy begins to find happiness after a run of bad luck where girl and boy then fall in love, far from it, and believe me Cassie's step mother is no saint either.
There's drama after drama in the lives of Cassie and Leo as they get to know each other and begin to feel more of the attraction pulling them together.
There's mystery behind Leo's appearance and what he is running from and as the story progresses confessions begin to come forth, not just from Leo but also from Cassie and her reasons for hating her step mother and why she is so skittish with boys.
I had problems with the flow of the plot, how things came into fruition or how things were confessed, I also felt the characters immaturity in some of their actions and words whereas in some scenes they acted like adults but the concept of the story I liked along with the twists and turns.
I didn't feel a connection to the characters, I felt the story jumped straight into the gritty stuff to soon without me getting to know them, personal preference, I like a slow build up but by the end I was invested in them and wanted it all to work out OK.
Bound to break is not a stand alone and there are lot's of twists and turns in the plot that has you eager to read more and there is definitely more drama and angst to come, things unsaid and even more confessions that need to be said and heard.
This is a story of two young people who have either suffered abuse or fear, each have their own demons of their own and after going it alone, fate steps in, they find each other and begin to face it together.
I am looking forward to seeing how everything works out for Cassie and Leo.

I’m good enough to protect her.
I’m good enough to die for her.
But, I’m not good enough to touch her?
I may be the Vice President of the Ravens Ruin MC, but her brother, the President, has given all of us orders that she’s off-limits.
It’s for the best, really.
The demons in my past love to play with a pretty little girl like her.
Luck of the Devil is the second book in the Raven's Ruin MC series, and this is Briar and Molly's story.
Luck of the Devil is a falling for the best friends sister kind of story, MC style.
There is a lot of mystery surrounding Briar, why he is celibate, if you have read the previous book this would make you curious as to why a man who is surrounded by the clubs debauchery and open sex antics is this way, has chosen to abstain from something that is offered to him daily on a plate by the club whores.
Slowly the story unravels his secrets through Briars thoughts. There has always been lots of questions surrounding Briar and his celibacy but no one dares questions and just accepts his ways.
Molly is the club princess and club members have orders from her brother who is the club president to look after her and not to touch. Briar has fought her advances and stayed true to his friends orders but Molly loves Briar and has known him since she was a little girl and is determined to get her man even if it means it could get him killed.
Luck of the Devil contains a lot of sex, club business, drama, it can be rude or crude and has a darker feel than some MC books, basically it's what an MC read should be.
The Ravens Ruin men are tough, rough, dangerous to whoever steps on their toes but they love their women, once they find the right one that is and show a softness only reserved for them.
Luck of the Devil finished with a cliffhanger leading towards T.J's story so I am looking forward to the next book also.

Book Two, Xavier Cold, is LIVE!!
“I could do things to your body that most women only dream about while reading their dirty romance novels, and I promise you’d fucking enjoy it.”
Wow, I was looking for a hot fighter romance and that's exactly what I got!
I loved Xavier and Anna, from the moment their eyes crossed on the plane I was all giddy.
"His eyes are the kind people write songs and poems about. They’re light blue and crystal clear. I’ve never seen someone with such intoxicating eyes"
Xavier is a famous Wrestler also known as Phenomenal X and Anna is the good girl in rebellion from her religious father who was trying to force her into an arranged marriage. Anna runs with the plan to start a new life with her aunt who isn't as strict or reserved as her father.
Xavier and Anna first meet on the plane, their eyes meet and of course, he is in first class but when the guy next to her spills his drink all over her and the stewardess takes her into first class to clean up, Xavier offers her a seat.
Phenomenal X is a friends to lovers romance. Xavier begins to feel more for Anna and loves her goodness vibes, they become friends with a promise of nothing more, Xavier claims he doesn't want to taint Anna, he's bad for her, Xavier is a man who sees no goodness in himself, the child of a heroin addict who once lived on the streets until a couple who own a cafe rescued him when they found him stealing food. Although Xavier tries to hold back from Anna his efforts are futile as the chemistry between them becomes tangible.
“Not everyone’s meant to have happiness, Anna. Some of us are meant for the dark.”
I loved the build-up and progression in Anna and X's relationship, Xavier becomes possessive and protective of Anna as she enters his world in the wrestling arena. The cliffhanger to this story has me on edge, it held so much suspense, I can't wait to see how this story goes.
Looking forward to reading the next book.
"I’m so fucking addicted. This will not end well for either of us, because I don't know how to let her go".
I didn’t want the legacy of leading my father’s MC.
I didn’t want to be him.
I didn’t want to feel soul-deep attraction to the girl my sister brought home from school.
But, we don’t always control our destinies, do we?
As the new President of the Ravens Ruin MC, I had a list of changes that needed to be made for the club.
The same woman in my bed night after night wasn’t on that list.
Yet, here I am, sheets tangled, skin smelling like hers, and a devious smile on my face.

The first book in the series.
I'm sort of doing this backward after reading Briar and Molly's story in LUCK OF THE DEVIL and I wanted to start at the beginning, Lynch who is Molly's brother had piqued my interest and I wanted to read how this feared man in the Ravens MC found love.
Zoe who gives herself the name Candy when she gets to the MC is just going along with Molly for the ride, she is interested in the MC and wants to bag herself a biker. Zoe isn't aware Molly her friend of 2 years is as connected as she is, she only knows she can get her in for the night but Molly is the club princess who went away to college and kept her home life a secret even from her friend.
One night turns into many when Lynch finds out the girls have been in trouble at college and the club pres makes both the girls stay for their safety and won't let them leave until he says they can leave.
Zoe finds herself in a threesome situation the first night there when she walks in on the club pres and another woman and he demands she joins in not knowing who she is which is his little sisters best friend.
These characters frustrated me, I'm under no illusions that biker men are hearts and flowers and time and time again Lynch proved that to Candy/Zoe. After having a taste of her he still got a taste of other flavors in the club too, women also known as club whores and Candy who I thought had a backbone at first just accepts it.
If you don't like cheating or men who show no respect to women this isn't a story for you.
Understanding the club life and how these men have been brought up in ways were pussy is pussy is how it is, but Lynch begins to battle with club ways in all areas, he wants to change how his father did things now he's in charge and as the plot progressed he also battles his feelings for Candy, yes, he goes about it the wrong way by trying to distract himself with other women but thankfully he does actually redeem himself at the end, in the eleventh hour maybe, but he does in the end.
Sins of the Father is hot, it's dirty, sexy and the characters are frustrating as hell. I couldn't tell you who frustrated me more Candy for taking Lynch' s man-whore ways or Lynch for thinking love is a sign of weaknesses and being a major Ass.
Overall I enjoyed it, I'm glad I read how Molly's best friend Zoe ended up being in the club and how Zoe and Lynch got together.
Each book can be read as a standalone and although I first read a book further on in the series there were no spoilers.
I would definitely read more in this series, these men need more than club whores in their lives and no doubt the pres has set a precedence for them to follow, well I'm hoping he has ;-)
Told in first person dual pov and leads to hfn.
He never wanted to be anyone’s hero…
Asher Knight is tall, dark, and wickedly handsome. He’s also irrevocably broken. Submerging himself in long hours at work by day and debauchery at The Wicked Horse by night, Asher uses work and play to numb the pain and guilt he feels over the death of his wife. What isn’t satisfied with one will surely be resolved by the other. At least that’s how he’s survived the last few years.
Hannah Madigan works three jobs just to make ends meet. Beat down by life, not to mention a cheating husband who was unfairly awarded custody of their daughter, Hannah is determined to make a better life for herself and get her kid back. But with pressures mounting and one costly mistake that leaves her owing Asher a huge debt, Hannah is as close as she’s ever come to throwing in the towel.
She’s given a golden opportunity…
Determined to stay the course by any means necessary, Hannah accepts an unusual proposal from Asher. He’ll give her a job. She’ll give him her body. Sounds easy, right? Until she realizes she needs his help more than she’s willing to admit. And he finds her adding to his life in ways he never wanted to accept.
This wicked knight may just learn that sometimes saving someone else means allowing yourself to be saved in return.
,3.5 Steamy stars.
I have to admit, as a reader, I'm done with books that contain sex clubs and BDSM, they don't really hold my interest as much anymore.
Wicked Knight jumps straight into the sex club realm when Asher takes a first glimpse of the new housekeeper and he is instantly attracted to her. When Hannah accidentally breaks an expensive vase, Asher offers her a way of paying for it by going to the Wicked Horse sex club with him.
Hannah agrees. I can't believe she did that so quickly, I know the woman was struggling for money but paying for a vase with sex? I had to roll my eyes, I did that A bit in the first few chapters.
All this is within the first chapter, the vase, the offer? and I thought wow, that was quick, no background on the characters, no build up to getting to know them, the story jumps straight to it?
Hannah is working 3 jobs and can't afford to pay for the vase so in her eyes she has no choice but to accept Asher's way of paying for the vase.
As the story progresses, this is when I began to enjoy it more, when it holds my interest more.
Asher and Hannah start to have more of a relationship other than just meeting at a sex club, she continues to clean in his home and be the housekeeper and eventually, they begin to have more sex in the "normal" way and not just at Wicked Horse.
What started off as a book that at first came across as all sex and no plot, turned out to be enjoyable and I began to warm up to the bossy businessman.
Asher was afraid to have "normal" relationship since his wife died, he was afraid and determined not to let anyone else in. Asher's way of ensuring he protected himself was by keeping his sex life professional which is why at first when he found he was attracted to Hannah the vase was an opportunity, he wanted her in an environment where he felt comfortable.
There's more to the plot than just sex, Hannah is battling for custody of her daughter and Asher proves he has a softer side to his icy exterior more than once.
Wicked Knight is a hot read, it took a few chapters to warm up to for me but I did enjoy it eventually.
Told in first person dual pov and leads to a hea.

When the stakes are this high, it’s game on. . . .
“Kelly Jamieson is an auto-buy for me.”--New York Times bestselling author Carly Phillips
Cam Brickley and his pro hockey teammates bet on everything: who can win five faceoffs in a row, who can do forty pushups in less than a minute, who can eat a ghost pepper without puking. But when his buddies bet him he can’t date the same woman—like, say, the hot blonde over at the bar—for two months and not fall in love, he’ll take that bet all day. Then he’ll laugh all the way to the hockey arena, where they’ll be washing his jock straps for the rest of the season, because Cam’s never giving up his bachelor lifestyle.
Olivia Lockwood, heiress to the Lockwood Industries fortune, is used to people using her for her money and family connections. When Cam Brickley hits on her in a club, Olivia’s first instinct is to brush him off. But he couldn’t be using her for her money, since he has more than enough of his own. Cam’s gorgeous and built, and it would be no hardship to go out with him . . . besides, he’d be the perfect spokesperson for the children’s charity she works with. Maybe it’s time for her to start using people.
Cam and Olivia are both in it for something. What they don’t know yet is that they’re playing for keeps.
Kelly Jamieson’s USA Today bestselling Aces Hockey series can be read together or separately
Game On by Kelly Jamieson is AVAILABLE NOW!
A good sports star/hockey romance.
I really enjoyed Game On, I was entertained from beginning to the swoon worthy hea
Cam is known as a playboy, he's never had a long term girlfriend and each one of his team mates have either just entered a relationship or settled down with kids, Cam claims he's happy living the single life until his team mates bet him he would fall in love with a woman if he gave it a chance and let a relationship last 2 month's until the playoffs.
Olivia is in the bar the night Cam takes the bet and with her gorgeous looks she easily becomes Cam's target.
I really liked Olivia, yes she was a gorgeous looking girl who looked the part of a wagg but there was a lot more to her, she was goofy and clumsy, kind-hearted, worked for a charity organisation that she started, Olivia's character is realistic.
There as no way Cam was not going to fall for this clumsy chick, it was written in the stars and I loved the journey to Cam's fall.
Game On is sizzling hot at times, has humor, great characters and is a must ead for hockey, sports-star romance fans.
Game On is the last book In the series but doesn't contain any spoilers regarding previous books.
My first book by Kelly Jamieson and I would definitely read more.
Told in first person dual pov and leads to and leads to hea.
Redeemed is book 1 in the new McIntyre Security Protectors series. It can be read standalone. It's a full-length novel with a guaranteed HEA.

"You stole my heart when I was a boy, and you still own it now that I’m a man"
I did some swooning at the beginning of this book, two high school sweethearts, a nerdy girl and the star football player all the girls longed for but Jake only had eyes for Annie from the moment they bumped into each other in the corridor.
The swooning was short lived when Annie who is a brainiac is accepted into Harvard, the two of them agree to stay together in a long distance relationship but miscommunication and interfering parents caused them to eventually drift apart.
Jake was head over heels in love with Annie and her absence in his life caused him to spiral out of control and so he joined the military.
Over 10 years later the two are reunited when April is needing the help of the security firm Jake now works at.
After being pushed into a relationship by her parents by a guy of their choosing Annie after a few years finds herself in an abusive relationship and returns home for her safety along with her son.
Jake and Annie meet again when she has an appointment at the security firm to go over her case. The sparks and chemistry between the two of them are instant and it's as though they have never been apart.
"When I saw her again for the first time, back at the McIntyre Security building, it was like the years we’ve been apart just evaporated".
All the above was within the first few chapters and although I did love this book I wanted more of what I was loving about this book to be more drawn out. I began to get bored as the story went on, it was semantics. I felt Annie and Jake reunited too quickly and there was no build up or angst.
REDEEMED is a heartwarming story with swoon-worthy moments. A second chance love story. I would definitely read more in this series, I did enjoy the writing style of April and the equal balance of the drama, hotness and the romance in the plot.
Told in first person dual pov and leads to a hea
Just call me Mister O. Because YOUR pleasure is my super power.
Making a woman feel ‘oh-god-that’s-good’ is the name of the game, and if a man can’t get the job done, he should get the hell out of the bedroom. I’m talking toe-curling, mind-blowing, sheet-grabbing ecstasy. Like I provide every time.
I suppose that makes me a superhero of pleasure, and my mission is to always deliver.
But then I'm thrown for a loop when a certain woman asks me to teach her everything about how to win a man. The only problem? She's my best friend's sister, but she's far too tempting to resist--especially when I learn that sweet, sexy Harper, has a dirty mind too and wants to put it to good use. What could possibly go wrong as I give the woman I've secretly wanted some no-strings-attached lessons in seduction?
No one will know, even if we send a few dirty sexts. Okay, a few hundred. Or if the zipper on her dress gets stuck. Not on that! Or if she gives me those f*&k-me-eyes on the train in front of her whole family.
The trouble is the more nights I spend with her in bed, the more days I want to spend with her out of bed. And for the first time ever, I'm not only thinking about how to make a woman cry out in pleasure --I'm thinking about how to keep her in my arms for a long time to come.
Looks like the real Adventures of Mister Orgasm have only just begun....
Mr. O is the perfect spin-off to Big Rock.
Nick hammer aka Mr Orgasm is the best friend of Spencer from the first book in this hot series.
I love these sexy, cocky and charming characters from Lauren Blakely. I read and listened to Mr O as part of a box set titled Bigger Rock which contains 4 books in the Big Rock series.
Following on from Big Rock, Spenser has gone on his honeymoon and his sister Harper and Nick begin to spend time with each other and get to know each other well, in fact, very well...
Mister O is highly entertaining, I laughed, swooned buckets and believe me I fanned myself many times with the hot sexy times between Harper and Nick.
Two great and lovable characters, no cheesiness in the plot, Mr O is a friends to lovers romance with a heartwarming hea. The book is well-written, the dialog is flawless.
A recommended and brilliant box set, one purchase 4 hot and sexy books also a recommended audio addition. Sebastian York is a fabulous narrator, he really transports across Nicks sexy, laid back demeanor and charming ways.
I am looking forward to moving onto the third book in this amazing box set going onto Well Hung and then Full package.

The Devil is the first book in the Devil's Playground duet
They'll tell you I seduced them. Used my looks and body to lure them into my playground.
They'll tell you I'm a sinner. A demon who held them captive with temptation and lust.

They'll tell you they made a deal with the devil.
What they won't tell you...is how much they liked it.

The Devil's Advocate, the final book in the two-book duet, is releasing soon. Book one must be read first.
I went into this blind and came out the other side with wide eye's.
I know Ashley Jade writes dark characters but damn....
This story is full of twists and turns, has the most complex characters and even though I have finished I'm none the wiser to this dark story with its web of lies, suspense, obsession, lust, and deceit.
The plot goes from present to past with three characters and contains some gritty scenes including mfm and m/m.
I'm not sure I want to go on but curiosity with how this twisted tale will unravel may just get the best of me.
This book is not a standalone.
The Devil is part of the cards of love series were different authors bring their own spin on a tarot card. This is my third book in this series of experiencing different authors and it's a great idea and series. Most books in the series are a standalone.
Told in the first person.

They say your first kiss should be earned.
Mine was stolen by a devil in a masquerade mask under the black Chicago sky.
They say the vows you take on your wedding day are sacred.
Mine were broken before we left church.
They say your heart only beats for one man.
Mine split and bled for two rivals who fought for it until the bitter end.
I was promised to Angelo Bandini, the heir to one of the most powerful families in the Chicago Outfit.
Then taken by Senator Wolfe Keaton, who held my father’s sins over his head to force me into marriage.
They say that all great love stories have a happy ending.
I, Francesca Rossi, found myself erasing and rewriting mine until the very last chapter.
And somewhere between these two men, I had to find my forever.
Captivated from beginning to end
This book gripped me, not only am I a lover of all things angst and suspense but throw in a Mafia feel to the whole plot and I'm basking I'm in another world, relishing in the plot and this was definitely a book I got lost in.
About the plot:
Francesca Rossi is a 19 year old Mafia princess who has grown into the ways and traditions of her family, she expected to marry a Made man. Her holidays and celebrations have been filled with people from her own world, she has fallen in love with one of her childhood friends, her first kiss is reserved for only him and she can't wait to one day marry her childhood sweetheart Angelo Bandini and tie as tradition expects to tie the Rossi and Bandini family together.
Francesca is a young woman who has been sheltered and has done what is expected of her until a huge plot twist for her life explodes into her plans re-writing her pages and the twist comes in the name of Senator Wolfe Keaton.
Wolfe, what can I say other than swoon, I loved that he was an older character, don't get me wrong I loved L.J Shen's previous books but the fact that Wolfe was maturer was a plus for me, he wasn't a boy taking orders or a boy who is just discovering this dark and cruel world he lived in, Wolfe had been there, experienced the cruelty committed by others and dealt with his own devastation and he was well on his way with his plans and his own personal mission of revenge.
Senator Wolfe is definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing to the public but behind the mask he is a man out for revenge using the power of his position to get what he wants and that is to break the man who took his family by taking something of his.
Wolfe uses blackmail and his position to convince the head of the Rossi family to give him the hand of his daughter. Wolfe has no interest in the Mafia princess other than hurting the enemy by taking the apple of his eye, his pride and joy, his only daughter.
"You're a collected debt, a retaliation, and, quite frankly, pretty decent arm candy."
The Kiss thief is a story of revenge and an enemies to lovers romance. The blurb suggests love triangle but it isn't, well, not in the cheating kind of way, Francesca has feelings for Angelo Bandini, in her eyes he is her chosen prince, a dream, her ideal man but that is all snatched away the night Wolfe takes her from her home with the blessing of her father and the promise of an imminent wedding to plan. A woman in love with a boy while battling with her feelings for a man.
Francesca finds herself not only living in the home of a man she doesn't know but also engaged to be married and then the fun begins, Francesca has backbone and won't surrender without a fight, I don't think Wolfe expected the petite princess to have such a sharp bite, I loved these parts of the story, the push and pull, the fights and then the surrender, two very stubborn characters.
I loved the development with these characters, the growth in their hate to love relationship, overall I loved everything about this book and could not put it down!
A gripping story with an emotional roller-coaster ride from beginning to end, brilliantly written, I want more.

The first time I kissed Scarlet, I knew I was in trouble.
The night I slept with her, my life changed forever.
The day I found out I was going to be a father, I ran from her.
Now that I’ve been given a second chance I won’t be so reckless.
Will my love be enough to prove to her that even in the darkest times I won’t repeat the past?
Reckless Love is the last book in the Cowboys and Angels series
A Teen to Adult love story.
Reckless love is the last book in the Cowboy and Angel series.
Reckless love could be read as a stand alone, I read this without previous books but the author suggests at the beginning of this book that it can't be read a s a standalone?
I suppose it would contain spoilers if you are looking to start a series from the beginning, this book contains all of the characters together in few scenes and would spoil who is with whom with regards to relationships etc, so if you want to start the journey of getting to know the families and all the characters and experience the growth of the family, start from the beginning.
Kelly Elliott hasn't added any spoilers with previous stories though so you aren't given any information with what has gone down before but there are a few surprises with the other couples that those who have been following this series will love.
Reckless Love is Trevor and Scarlet's story.
Trevor is the player of the bunch with the the look of a bad boy, the hot cowboy with tattoos and a reputation with the ladies and although he has had his eye on Scarlet since before she moved away to school when he was a teen he still continued with his wild ways.
Trevor is afraid of commitment, his feelings for Scarlet scare him and when Scarlet returns home for good he finds himself in a situation where he wants her but in a way he doesn't and also he doesn't want anyone else to have her either. Trevor has a decision to make before he loses his forever girl, there is only so much rejection Scarlet can take and the clock is ticking.
This is a heartwarming story of major play boy turning into a swoon-worthy man, I loved the transformation in Trevor as he steps up to claim what is his and his responsibilities.
Fans of this series will love it, like I said all characters from previous books in the series are present and a few surprises are revealed.
I am looking forward to whatever Kelly Elliott has planned next. I have to say I do love anything by Kelly Elliott she writes a brilliant balance of hotness, romance, drama and heartwarming moments within her pages.

From bestselling author Leddy Harper comes a sizzling romance about an aspiring young chef who may discover that the perfect recipe for love involves all accidental ingredients…
Tatum Alexander is so close to realizing her dream of becoming a sous chef she can taste it, but working at her ex-fiancé’s restaurant with his new girlfriend was never in her career plan. To save face and prove she’s moved on, Tatum cooks up a lie that she’s in a relationship with her best friend’s superhot cousin. There’s just one problem: Jason only recently moved to town, and he has no idea they’re already “dating.”
Jason’s a recovering ladies’ man who shouldn’t be on the menu, but that doesn’t mean he’s immune to Tatum’s quirky charm. Giving her lie a kernel of truth, they decide some no-strings-attached fun between the sheets can’t hurt. But as Tatum’s forced to keep making up stories to cover her original fib, she has a hard time separating what’s real and what’s fake—including her feelings for Jason.
With too many tales spun, Tatum can only watch in horror as her collection of yarns begins to unravel, leaving everyone she cares about feeling betrayed. After so many lies, will it be too late to set the record straight? And more importantly, will she be able to convince Jason there’s truth in their love?
"We were two damaged souls, incapable of a future because we each had a past with the wrong person."
Wow! swoon worthy ending. I loved The half Truth, great book to unwind with. No heavy angst or drama it was just the right kind of book to curl up with and enjoy the characters journey.
What I really love in a book are characters that I can relate to, read and feel like I'm taking part of their journey, laugh with them or at them, swoon at the romance, enjoy the story and finish with a happy sigh.
I definitely got all of that with this book.
I loved Tatum, she's goofy, funny, she's the type of woman who lifts her chin high sets out do do something brave and then basically it all goes tits up, she's a woman who isn't afraid to laugh at herself.
Jason has been away for a few years working in Vegas and following his stepfathers death wants to be with his family and return to his home town. Jason is also in a relationship or was until his girlfriend doesn't want to leave Vegas where she is a showgirl, not much call for that in a little town I suppose. Anyway Jason moves back home fresh from a break up.
Both Tatum and Jason are in the same circles, Tatum is the best friend of Jason's cousin Kelsey and already a part of the family.
With a past reputation of being a playboy Tatum and Jason have been given orders by Kelsey to say away from each other. Tatum is also getting over a break up.
I loved this slow burn romance, it was hot, funny, I loved the embarrassing moments and I also loved every one of the characters from Jason's mother to Kelsey, it had a great family feel to it, with lots of laugh out loud moments.
This is my first Leddy Harper book and definitely won't be my last, I loved the flow of the plot. The half truth contained everything I love in a romance read.
I am looking forward to reading more from Leddy Harper, I have some catching up to do and I am so spoilt for choice but hoping to dive into another of her books asap.
Told in first person dual pov and leads to a hea.
