Wow 5 toxic stars
Absolutely nothing compares to the dope like feeling Teller inflicts on my senses, like a shot of adrenaline direct to my heart.
Ella and Teller are friends, they have a relationship that is dangerous, shouldn't be together but can't be apart, there feelings are so tangible yet poignant that there is a fear of being anything more.
We are poison. We're a toxic that spreads to everthing and everyone.
Jelousy, obsession, possession, rage, arguments, fights so much pent up agression, when it's good it good when it's bad it's really bad.
Ella and Teller aren't together physically but in unspoken words they are and nothing can separate the feelings they have for each other even when it's brutal.
Closer is intense filled with angst and drama, told in dual pov's. I was instantly pulled into the story gripping onto the words to the end and I didn't want to let go.
Mary Elizabeth's words are exhilarating and addictive hooked from start to finish.
I haven't read a book I enjoyed in this way since Fear me by BB Reid.
looking forward to part two with anticipation of where Ella and Tellers journey will end.
Gabriella Mason is damaged.
Teller Reddy is wrecked.
Misery loves company, and that’s exactly what Ella gets the afternoon her path crosses with Teller’s: the misunderstood premed student who instantly becomes her lifeline when she moves to Los Angeles, an attempt at escaping her heartbreaking past.
In the beginning, Lonely and Defensive complete each other. But in the end, their relationship is like broken glass—cutthroat and jagged.
Calling it off before they kill each other, Ella and Teller decide to “just be friends” despite the intensity that binds them together. It’s a delicate foundation rocked by tragedy, effectively destroying the illusion they’ve so carefully built.
Unable to deny what’s between them any longer, this is what happens when wrecked and damaged collide and close is still not close enough.

Mary Elizabeth is an up and coming author who finds words in chaos, writing stories about the skeletons hanging in your closets.
Known as The Realist, Mary was born and raised in Southern California. She is a wife, mother of four beautiful children, and dog tamer to one enthusiastic Pit Bull and a prissy Chihuahua. She's a hairstylist by day but contemporary fiction, new adult author by night. Mary can often be found finger twirling her hair and chewing on a stick of licorice while writing and rewriting a sentence over and over until it's perfect. She discovered her talent for tale-telling accidentally, but literature is in her chokehold. And she's not letting go until every story is told.
Wow, I loved Dare me
Holt eligable and sought after bachelor first meets Saige when he hires her as an interior designer for his aviation company.
It's love at first sight for Holt but this is no typical office romance. Holt had ulterior motives for hiring Saige and the whole plot has an element of suspense throughout as the truth draws nearer and threatens to rear it's ugly head.
I was immediately pulled into Paige's story with such a shocking and heartbreaking backstory of the young girl whos family lost everything in Chicago and moved in with her uncle in Dakota and on her 13th birthday utter heartbreak.
As a woman Saige returns to Chicago set on making her family proud, my interest was piqued throughout and I adored Paige's character.
Brilliantly written by Rebecca Shea told in dual pov's. My first book by this author and it won't be my last.
breathtaking fom beginning to hea. I laughed, swooned, felt the heartache and heartwarming moments and loved it.
Two fleeting smiles.
A dare that will change my life.
That’s all it takes to send me plummeting into the arms of the mysterious Holt Hamilton. Behind his crystal blue eyes is a secret, one that screams danger but calls to me anyway.
My name is Saige Phillips.
I never walk away from a dare.
Everything an MC read should be and more
He's a disarray of handsome chaos and you can see it all in his emerald eyes.
The 5th book in the series and if you have been following you will know of Bull's love for Bab's and his heartbreak.
This book can be read as a standalone but after reading this loving it and the characters, I would advise also reading previous books too for the series of events.
Bull, president of the Devil's Dust is struggling to move on from Bab's death and drowning in his regrets and sorrows with booze until his world once again tilts when a young Mexican woman runs into his arms fleeing her captors until she is whisked away as quickly as she appeared.
Anahi is held captive by her uncle doing his work, she was a drug mule a task that nearly took her life and even though she's a daughter of the cartel since her father's death she has been decieved, used, abused and held against her will.
One look into Anahi's whiskey coloured eyes leaves Bull with only one thought and he's determined to find her, claim her as his but it means facing the Cartel to get her.
My interest was piqued throughout, Anahi is a fiery character a woman with backbone, I really liked her character and she is a perfect fit for Bull.
What might kill us had be hooked from start to finish, filled with alpha hotness, danger and grit.
Told in dual pov's and leads to a hea.
"In every angel a devil smiles and in every devil an angel cries"
Brotherhood is what Bull bleeds and all that he knows.
Being the king of The Devil’s Dust and surrounded by easy women was his everyday… until having his heart broke rooted him to the bottom of a whiskey bottle.
Heartbroken, and drowning in lost memories he’s unsure of the direction of his life, when the answer – consisting of a terrified Mexican girl- nearly knocks him off his feet.
Determined to get his act together and rectify his club, he rides to Texas for answers, only to be confronted with the emotional ghosts he isn’t ready to deal with.
He sees Anahi, and he wants her.
But she may come with more baggage than Bull is ready for.
Anahi used to be prim and proper. She used to wear dresses and keep up appearances to impress people she didn’t know. I guess you could say she was a fucking lady.
But that was when she lived in Mexico with her parents.
Before her uncle turned on her.
Before, the only man she ever loved, her step-brother, betrayed her.
Before she was forced to be a drug mule for the Cartel.
Evening gowns a lost memory, expensive heels traded for boots, and a nine millimeter in her hand instead of a limited edition purse. Anahi sets aside everything she’s ever known including the fairytale stories her mother told her about America.
She’s angry, determined, and looking for a way out.

I loved Private and devoured it.
Billionaire locked away in his mansion doing business through his best friend, JT the face of the business.
Wes for over a decade has hidden away, he's a man of self loathing, disfigured by an accident he feels is his punishment and a reminder of his mistakes until Brynley enters his life turning his private life upside down with her sassyness and confidence.
Brynley is visiting her sick mother who works for Wes and stays while she is given treatment.
I instantly liked Brynley with her sarcasm and witt and down to earth ways. Wes was at first a mystery a man behind a hood and a voice in the shadows and slowly he begins to reveal who he is.
I loved how Brynley burst into Wes's life and opened his eyes and his heart began to beat with purpose.
Private is an interesting read with great character's, a good plot told in dual pov's.
I was disappointed to find it one of 2 parts when I felt it was on the brink of a hea. There are no heavy dramas or angst in Private it was a book I could sit nack and relax with, the sex scenes not as hot or as passionate for Brynleys character as I thought it would be but I loved it regardless I was hooked throughout and read in one sitting.
Looking forward to book two Public.
Mogul or Monster?
Billionaire Weston Wilcox hasn't been seen by the outside world in almost a decade. No face to face meetings. No interviews. No social media accounts. Despite his ghost demeanor he continues to financially flourish and make his fellow investors richer with every decision. Throughout the years many have sought to discover the man inside the mogul while others have spread legends painting him as a heartless monster consumed by greed. None of it matters to him. Weston's true identity is secured away in his estate of solitude, which consists of the only people in the entire world he believes he can trust. That is until he's asked to allow a guest access to the property under extreme circumstances. One he knows he shouldn't. It doesn't take long before his world is turned upside down, unexpected threats arise, and Weston's forced to ask himself what really should be kept private?

I absolutely love this series and it is one of my all time favourite's for Rockstar reads.
Needing The Memories summed up was Perfect.
A beautiful epilogue for Drake and Lana and proof that you can still even years on in a relationship keep creating new beginnings.
With family gatherings, Christmas on the horizon and Drake with something up his sleeve, needing the memories was a beautiful story that made me feel gooey inside.
A novella told in dual pov's that I wished was longer, Terri Anne browning's words are addictive ans she never fails to rock my reading world.

Happy Ever After doesn’t end at the Epilogue. The Epilogue is really only the beginning. For us, it’s meant sharing every high, every low, and loving each other even more when we come out the other side still standing. He’s everything I’ve always wanted. My best friend. My lover. My husband…
And I’m his Angel.
Our life hasn’t always been perfect, but to me as long as I get to wake up to Angel in my arms every morning and get to tuck our girls into bed at the end of each day I’ll be the happiest man in the world. Nothing can come between us, nothing can tear us apart.
Only…I have one regret. One that is still a black void in my head.
Every year it’s the same.
The self-loathing for the man I was back then.
The anger that I’d taken something from the woman who has given herself to me so freely and being unable to remember a single second of it. This year it’s worse for me. It’s slowly driving me crazy.
Maybe it’s time to hit rewind and give us both a do over for that night.
Maybe what I really need is a memory to replace that empty blackness that is trying to swallow me whole.

Such a fun read, I loved it
Trent is a cop, Kinsey is a cops daughter who runs a lingerie store in a mall.
When Trent deliberately keeps pulling Kinsey over for different traffic violations you could say there relationship becomes one of love and hate, with one liners and flirting thrown in.
Theft investigations at the mall, cop office banter, fan me down hotness, great characters and a good plot, there was lots going on in Bend to keep me flipping the pages.
Bend was fun with touches of seriousness, told in dual pov's and leads to a hea.
My first read by this author and I would definitely read more, the whole plot was balanced out perfectly, I really enjoyed it.
A sexy Vegas cop? ✔
An alpha attitude that Just. Doesn’t. Stop? ✔
Crazy intense chemistry that absolutely freaking explodes on the page? ✔ ✔
Focused and in control at all times. Most people think I’m a prick—and I’ll be the first to admit that’s probably true. But I’d rather be a take-no-shit cop than the kind of man genetics says I should be. You break the law, you pay the price. I don’t give a damn if you’re the captain’s daughter or the Queen of friggin’ England.
I have no patience for the cocky men my father oversees. Or maybe it’s just Sergeant Hardass who gets under my skin. Not only is he sexy as sin, he refuses to cut me a break. And now I have to work with the arrogant jerk.
I shouldn’t want him, but a secret part of me craves his unforgiving edge. He could give me everything I need, but, first, I have to break down his walls.
I have to make him bend.
