![]() A new standalone novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author Vi Keeland The night I met Drew Jagger, he’d just broken into my new Park Avenue office. I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills. He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing. Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant. Only, turned out, he wasn’t an intruder at all. Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He’d been on vacation while his posh space was renovated. Which was how a scammer got away with leasing me office space that wasn’t really available for rent. I was swindled out of ten grand. The next day, after hours at the police station, Drew took pity on me and made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. In exchange for answering his phones while his secretary was out, he’d let me stay until I found a new place. I probably should have acted grateful and kept my mouth shut when I overheard the advice he was spewing to his clients. But I couldn’t help giving him a piece of my mind. I never expected my body to react every time we argued. Especially when that was all we seemed to be able to do. The two of us were complete opposites. Drew was a bitter, angry, gorgeous-as-all-hell destroyer of relationships. And my job was to help people save their marriages. The only thing the two of us had in common was the space we were sharing. And an attraction that was getting harder to deny by the day. ![]() "Your the colour in my black & white world". EMERIE: The night I met Drew Jagger, he'd just broken into my new Park Avenue office. I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills. He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing. Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant. Only, turned out, he wasn't an intruder at all. REVIEW I loved this book, it was funny and hot in all the right places. Drew came off as egotistical at first but that doesn't last long as you begin to swoon at his sexy ways, his dirty mouth and off the cuff comments with Emerie. He's a hot suit divorce lawyer who has relationship issues after being burned by his ex wife and as a result only has male clients, its like he's on a mission to seek justice for all men who has been wronged in marriage. Emerie had just started a new business as a relationship councillor, she's been in love with her professor now friend for years, she even moved across state and into the apartment next door when she found out he was single again but that was short lived when Baldwin got another girlfriend, he never gives her the inclination he feels the same way, parading his one night stands or new girlfriends around her while also giving her hope by taking her out for dinner and calling at her apartment, its the typical example of unrequited love. Drew Jagger has had a series of bad New Years eve's but the one where he finds a stranger in his office with her skirt round her ankles threatening Krav maga skills just may be the turn around and end to his bad New Years eves he needs and a new beginning for both of them. I loved these two characters, the banter, the chemistry, the Witt, the sassiness, the hot moments that develop and the plot is one of those that has you hoping for a happily ever after to come after the drama. Great read I loved the writing style told in dual pov's and looking forward to reading more from Vi Keeland. I listened to Egomaniac on audio, the narration was good and I stayed engaged in the plot. ![]() MEET DREW JAGGER Amazon ebook ➜ http://smarturl.it/b1gi74 iBooks ➜ http://apple.co/2fIsmvC B&N ➜ http://smarturl.it/t4ohsv Kobo ➜ http://smarturl.it/azmhq9 Google Play ➜ http://smarturl.it/xmkkyl
