![]() Review: Predestined hearts. I loved this, it's two story's in one book so you get a double whammy of romance. Ashlin is in a relationship with a man and has been for 5 years but since taking over his fathers business he cares more about Pr and business transactions than their relationship and Ashlin has seen Harris change. The death of her Aunt takes Ashlin home and she tries to break things off from Harris who treats her like a possession and won't let go. While clearing her Aunts things away Ashlin comes across a journal that belonged to Sophia her Great Grandmother. This is where the journey into her ancestors lives and her family's past begins and as Ashlin reads and looks for answers you are also taken back in time. I've watched a film called Letters to Juliette and this book remind me of that journey. I have never read a historical romance but reading Sophia and Daniels story I loved. It's a hopelessly romantic read, Sophia and Daniels story sad at times but a story of true love. Ashlin is also a romantic her reasons for breaking up with Harris was she is a believer in love, something her relationship with Harris lacked so when Ashlin begins reading the journal of Sophia's story it sealed her beliefs and doubts that Harris is not her forever. When Ashlin meets Gael, it's a chance meeting but also the kind where you begin to believe fate brought two destined hearts together in both story's. I loved both story's which were both beautiful in their own way but I favored Sophie and Daniels story and the writing style and at times it was hot, all those layers and peticoates didn't stop this couple from having a quickie. Sometimes in Ashlin and Gaels story the words and romance was too much and sickly and didn't seem realistic with some of the words spoken, not sure if you can have a story that's too romantic with words but it was overdone, I couldn't picture people speaking to each other like that in the modern day, it didn’t feel believable but in Sophia and Daniels day I could. There's trouble and drama though it's not all hearts and flowers in both story's. In summary Finding Forever is a romantics ideal read that leads to a hea maybe not for all the characters but it does finish beautifully. ![]() SYNOPSIS Love and a sense of belonging is all Ashlin Thomas dreams about.
