He told me to get over it, let it go.
I can't do that.
I want them to pay.

Oh wow! I was engaged from start to finish.
A strong heroin and a plot that was full of suspense.
Hit Girl is the second story following a The Bright Lights duet but can be read as a stand alone, I haven't read the previous books and although Molly was a part of those story's there is no crossover or any scenes at all where I felt I had missed some vital information regarding a link to this story due to something that had happened previously. Hit girl solely focused on the here and now with Joshua and Molly.
In most story's I read there's a back story then girl meets boy or vice versa. In hit girl the story starts with Molly and Joshua already together and have been for a year.
Molly has a secret life and although Joshua knows there is something Molly hides he has never pushed her about her past or about the things that seem to haunt her, he's a lovable guy.
Molly is as the title suggests a Hit girl, killing pedophiles and child abusers, only she doesn't do it for money or the thrill, she is going through her own personal list of abusers from her teenage life and from a time she was left abandoned by her mother.
I found the story captivating and I honestly couldn't put it down, I also found it refreshing and different to most books I have read recently.
Molly and Joshua's relationship was full of chemistry, Joshua really did give me the swoons.
This book doesn't go into detail of abuse and is mostly concentrated on the here and now the drama and Molly and Joshua's relationship.
I loved and recommend Hit Girl for a fast-paced passionate and also heartwarming hea read full of suspense.
