A sexy category romance novella from Entangled’s Brazen imprint…
Sometimes it’s good to be bad…
When it comes to sex, good girl Skyler Thompson always plays it safe, choosing stable and sedate over wild and thrilling. She doesn’t do one-night-stands, but one look at sinfully sexy Gage Holt and she’s willing to reconsider. He makes her want to be bad for once in her life, and she’s prepared to take what she wants.
Danger follows former MMA fighter Gage Holt like a shadow. Despite his successes as part owner of Sin, an exclusive nightclub in Boston, Gage can’t risk getting involved with a woman, especially one as sweet as Skyler. Still, he can’t resist a taste—and it’s so damn good he has to see her again.
As addicted as he is to her, Gage knows there’s no future for him and Skyler—not with his past lurking in the dark corners of an MMA cage. But Skylar’s tougher than she looks, and she’s ready to fight for her man.
Aw, I loved Gage and Skylar, once I started one night of sin I couldn't put it down.
Gage is an ex MMA fighter or trying to be an ex fighter but he's being put into a corner by a local thug businessman who wants Gage to fight in exchange for his brothers debts. Gage runs Sin a nightclub with his two best friends.
He's moody, a man of few words and hot as hell !!
Skylar comes across at first as sassy, bold, confident and she is all those things but years of studying and working hard has made her decide to start living again and on her first night of the new outgoing Skylar she goes to Sin and meets Gage. Skylar is a good girl wanting to be bad for once.
It's definitely lust at first sight for both of them and it's Skylar that initiates the chase she's after a one night stand for the first time ever and is determined to get one with Gage.
A one night that turns into more, Skylar and Gage are so right for each other and Skylar won't take no for an answer with this commitment phobe broody fighter who's barriers eventually begin to fall.
One night of sin is hot, has great characters and an interesting plot a back story for both characters that draws you in to love them even more.
I loved it, wanted more and can't wait to read more from this author in this After hours series.
Told in third person with enough dialogue to make you feel like your reading first person so the fact it was third person didn’t bother my first person preference one bit, in fact I didn’t notice like I would with some books were you feel like your being told a story.
My second Ellle Kennedy read and definitely going to and looking forward to read more.
