![]() REVIEW Sebastian Reed: Hot detective, Sebastian came across as the type of man who would speak if he has something meaningful to say, he isn't a pushy person, has a silent confidence and owns a gym where he teaches self defense classes for woman. Amelia: A Reporter, a loner, someone who doesn't have many friends and doesn't trust easily, brought up as a foster child, adopted by a couple who only wanted to fill an emptiness in their lives. Amelia was mainly wanted by her adoptive Father who later died, leaving Amelia with someone who didn't really want her. I liked both characters, neither were overly zealous people they were who they were. The plot is mainly Amelia investigating the Mayer and unraveling scandal and others involved in corruption making this a read of mystery and suspense. There's danger and threats for Amelia and she first meets Sebastian after being attacked outside her work and Detective Reed and his partner go to see Amelia for questioning at the hospital. Reckless touch has suspense, danger, drama and in the midst of this love is found. I would say it has more of the suspense and investigation action rather than romance but if you love that in a plot then this is for you although it does lead to a happily ever after for Sebastian and Amelia. The story is written in dual pov's so you are able to get the thoughts and feelings of both characters. I enjoyed this story, it was slow paced and it was a change for me to read something that didn't have romance throughout the core of the book and include multiple hot scenes which this did not have. I would read more from this author I was fully engaged in the plot and enjoyed the story. ![]() SYNOPSIS He crowds everything into corners just by stepping into a room.
