  When I’m offered the chance to leave New York to live in London for three months, I can’t pack my suitcase fast enough. As soon as I touch down I’m obsessing over red telephone boxes, palaces and all the black cabs. But my favorite place is the tube. It’s wall-to-wall hot British men in suits. When I’m offered a temporary job working for a barrister, I say, sign me up. On my first commute into work, it’s a total accident when I lose my balance and fall against the most handsome Brit alive. He’s as charming as James Bond and as suave as Mr. Darcy. I want to lick tea from his hard abs and listen to his accent all night long. Turns out Mr. Handsome is my new boss. And his attitude isn’t as hot as his gorgeous face, broad shoulders and tight ass. He’s brooding, short-tempered and the most arrogant man I’ve ever met. As we’re fighting, out of nowhere he kisses me. And I’m pretty sure I see fireworks over Big Ben and hear God Save the Queen. Another favourite from Louise Bay, I love the mix of American and British characters. Alexander has a failed marriage, he is a Barrister and doesn't have time for relationships or love and is completely married to his job, trying to fulfil the role his father exceeded in. Violet has been cheated on and used by her former partner and isn't looking for love either, she's a brazen one night stand kind of woman. After losing her job Violet goes to England to family and by word of mouth gets a job working in a law office and in turn becomes Alexander's assistant. Alexander is moody and demanding, a workaholic who doesn't like disruption to his work and Violet has a task on her hands to get Mr Knightly organised and has to sneak into his office when he is in court for papers and items she needs to get her ob done. This ballsy American woman woman not only gets the job done but also has a breakthrough with Alexanders none existent personal life. What starts off as a hot office affair becomes more. The story is charming, engaging, addictive with great characters. I love Louise Bay's writing and her hot, charming and alluring stories that I can never put down until the last page and I am looking forward to whatever comes next. Arc received for review purposes
